I'm not sure why, perhaps its because I'm not a great admirer of the cats, but i have my doubts about this episode :( I really hope i'm wrong on this one . . .

Well I freakin love cats, but even I have my doubts about this ep.

Although you'd have to be mental to walk into the Futurama writers' room and say "hey I really like cats, let's make an episode about them", so I assume they've got something more cunning up their sleeve.

Which then gets me worried that it's gonna be an episode for cat *haters* instead. At least Morbo will get gas.

It sounds more anti-cat than pro-cat since they're trying to take over. Nibbler will stop them. That or eat them.

Ok time for the season rating's review

1.Rebirth - 2.92mil viewers
2.In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela - 2.78mil viewers
3.Attack of the Killer App - 2.159mil viewers
4.Proposition Infinity - 2.013mil viewers
5.The Duh-Vinci Code - 2.204mil viewers
6.Lethal Inspection - 1.920mil viewers
7.The Late Philip J. Fry - 2.046 viewers

So far the trend is that viewership has dropped every week except last week in which it went up 100,000 more viewers
enemabotAug 6th 2010, 04:52
it went up for prop infinity as well, so what's your point?
ClemJohnsonAug 6th 2010, 05:21
The Late Phillip J Fry is the best one. @enemabot- ratings didn't go up for Proposition Infinity, they went up for the Duh-Vinci Code.

ratings have been consistent... since the first week of the two eps... they avg. like 2-2.2 million... remember that's just same day fist time viewing... not viewing within the week via dvr... not including new viewers via the 6 or so repeats of that same episode in the first week... or itunes, amazon... downloads unfortunately don't count

in 6/8 why did lela say she did no have a man? what happened to fry?
slurmBotAug 6th 2010, 12:13
Thanks for asking, Derek from New Zealand who totally didn't torrent the episode or anything like that.

Derek, continuity is a silly little thing that none of us really needs to worry about. In saying that, Fry was dancing with Bender. All that happened last week is he took her out on her birthday. And they'll do more with that relationship when they feel like it.

Chillax, brutha. Just enjoy the ep.

Some filler (cat can-can?) And plot holes but over all a 7/10.
slurmBotAug 7th 2010, 06:30
cat can-can was, in part, a rather obscure reference to the classic Alley Cat 1980s video game; see Youtube video Hvan8zV0JT4

...around the 2:20 mark.

It makes more sense now, but unless you are a fan of 80's video games ( which oddly I am ) and have actually played that game, ya not gonna get it. Which I'm sure 90% of the viewers didn't. Again, not saying thats bad, I like when there is an inside joke or 7, I just know there are alot who missed that one, and like to think they ARE on the inside lol.
