Futuramaforever, what you can do is go to your local shop and buy some iTunes Store gift cards, you open iTunes on your computer, type in your card's code and you'll have money to buy the Futurama episodes from iTunes which in turn supports the show.

does anyone know if the ratings for futurama are good i know about 1.9 mil is alot of people but how much is a normal number for an episode or for something on comedy central?

Comedy Central needs to pick up Futurama as long as the did South Park. This show was canceled to soon the first time and I feel it has a lot more to give to us.

It has great writing and awesome characters. Its rare to find something worth watching on a channel that isn't premium cable these days.

If I can quote comic book guy "Best show ever."

To Moleman:
I can tell that you are not "that into" the previous seasons they have done. i would advise you too watch something else cause the 4 first episodes are definitely not the futuruma it always has been.

conclusion: the 4 first episodes suck.

"barfing goat"
"the susan boyle joke"

seriously what the fuck. When i want jokes that sink to that level i watch familyguy or south park. Just let me have one goddamn show with some intelligent jokes and lovable characters.

Some people just don't get it.

Don't complain about bad jokes because old Futurama episodes are filled with them. Just like with any thing-some are good...some bad. The early episodes were bound to let down someone.

If you are a true fan of the show, then you know that right now...we can't be choosey. We have to show full support for the show, or it will find it's way onto the cancellation line.

The first 4 episodes were ok, but "Prisoner of Benda" was hands down the funniest and best episode this season.

Bring on Summer '11!

No the thing is that you don't get it, i've been falling asleep to every season for the past 4years.

It's my routine, i know every episode inside out. i can tell you that the 4 first episodes of the new season was the most horrible ever made in futurama history.

And then they got back on track, Its simple as that, I haven't bought every season and movie and waiting for several years just too see a different show thats just been labeled "futurama"

Im sorry if i sound like a douch, but futurama has always been good, There are no "Bad episodes" in the previous seasons. at least not ones that can ever compare to those 4 horrible episodes.

I have been a huge fan since the first episode aired and bought the season 1 set the day of it's release.

Also, I rewatch old episodes and all commentaries more than anyone you'll ever meet because it's always been my favorite show.

I know many people who love and watch the show almost as much as I do, yet I haven't heard anyone of them complain as much as you about those episodes.

You can't expect everyone of them to be near-perfect when the creators are always up in the air about when, or if they'll be able to do more.

Can you deliver perfection when your job has loads of unanswered questions and has everything up in the air on you?

The first few Family Guy episodes after it returned weren't that good at all. But, the episodes built up steam and got better towards the end of the season.

I agree that the first couple episodes this year of this show weren't the best, but they were hardly as bad as some of the episodes from Season 1. A handful of the early episodes were sub-par when compared to the later ones of Seasons 3 and 4. But, a true fan like me doesn't care about those small things in the big picture.

They'll keep getting better. Just relax and be happy it's back.

I am happy that it's back, that does not change the fact the 4 episodes were a failure (TO ME), I've liked every episode ever made besides just those 4.

And i'm not blaming anyone here, im just giving my opinion about those 4 episodes.

And don't even compare season 1 too these 4 episodes, season 1 my not be as great as the other seasons, But they just started back then, ofc its not perfect. And i'm not even asking for perfection here.

Im just saying, i have never rewatched these 4 episodes, and i probely wont ever.

Loving a show isn't about loving every damn episode, cause if they didn't get back on track (Again they did.) I wouldnt love the show anymore, cause it wouldn't be futurama for me anymore.
GB2Sep 13th 2010, 06:46
I respect your opinions & passion for the show, but I just feel like you're too harsh on those episodes. Just re-watch them to laugh at how bad they are.

I personally think the Duh-Vinchi Code is the worst episode ever, but I still watch it as much as the rest of them (which is every day).

I know that In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela is rated as the worst, but it actually made me laugh a couple of times. I only laughed once the first time I saw Duh-Vinchi Code. I wouldn't call it a failure, but it seems more along the lines of what you say about not being Futurama, but being labeled as such. It's my least favorite of ALL episodes.

Hopefully, next season we'll see more episodes like the Prisoner Of Benda & Late Philip J. Fry.
PaulSep 23rd 2010, 06:07
I really liked Duh-Vinchi Code. I found it really funny.

A couple things in it were a stretch, like how they could survive weeks in a wooden space ship with no food, water or bathroom, but aside from that it was pretty good.

I friggin love futurama, I've been watching and rewatching it since the show started, I remember when the first episode aired I was so excitted and I've been in love ever since. I nearly had a heart attack when I found out there was going to be another season. I loved the new season, no complaints here!!!
