Can't get enough Futurama

Futurama Volume 5 DVD & BR announced

Both IGN and TVShowsOnDVD got word from FOX Home Entertainment regarding the much anticipated December release of the Futurama Volume 5 DVD and BluRay sets.

The sets will include the 12 episodes that aired during the summer plus the holiday special that will air later this year. Among the extras, IGN reports
* "Bend it Like Bender" featurette
* "Previously On

Sounds awesome. Can't way. I just gotta say, since I want the bluray version, $49 usd for half a season sounds way too expensive.

I've been looking forward to the blu-ray release, but $50 dollars is highway robbery for 13 episodes.

Heck, the most expensive TV franchise released to DVD that I can think of is Start Trek at $100 for 26 episodes, and they're twice as long.

I'll definitely get it, but unlike each season release and the movies, I won't be buying them the day they come out.

I'm not a fan of it but regardless I will be getting the dvd set at the earliest oppotunity!

Crap, the episodes haven't even aired in the UK yet, it could be well into next year before the UK gets a DVD release

Join the club my man UK airings compared to US sucks! I hope Sky1 airs them soon so they can get on with giving us the DVD

No one. Either because it's already sold out due to it being three days before Christmas, or because the shop's put the price up beyond the suggested retail price because it's three days before Christmas.
