Can't get enough Futurama

Futurama Production Remains in Limbo

We were updated today regarding the status of the Futurama production: As of now, there has not been any decision regarding the production of more Futurama episodes (beyond the 13 episodes that are going to be aired over the summer). The team is still waiting to hear from the people with the money.

They said in the Holiday special that Futurama will be back next year. David X. Cohen also said that.

Andy: They will be (hence the "beyond the 13 episodes that are going to be aired over the summer").

The question is what happens then.

Not again!

Can't they just renew it indefinitely???

hopefully we will get at least another full season after the next 13 episodes.

I dont see why they wouldn't renew for another season. Wasn't the show on par or better in the viewing numbers? i mean it wasn't as high as south park but didnt it beat the daily show and colbert report?

The world need's futurama!
one more year (season) one more year(season) one more year! (season

It may have better numbers than The Dailey Show and Colbert but it cost much more to make.

Of course! In my opinion, almost all of today's ongoing tv shows are interestingly a lot like watching flies screw-not fun to watch at all.

Two and a Half Men, for example, sux noodles-yet has been on the air forever. More proof of the Robot Devil's wheelings and dealings.

The good shows rarely last for too long. (ABC's "Lost" anyone?)

It will not be a suprise, but will be a sad day if my favorite show once again floats off into limbo.

But please everyone, keep watching awfully stupid & unfunny sh*t like the Tim and Eric Show, along with the other 90% of garbage currently airing on Adult Swim and Comedy Central.

This is why I don't watch as many shows as I used to. The Futurama wit & humor will always be unappreciated.

Futurama needs to be renewed for another season! I'm pretty sure DVD sales will be excellent and the show will be renewed! After all, you think Matt Greoning would let this show die? I think not!

I's got to be renewed!

I think so.

As I recall I remember last January that The Simpsons need 10 months to get episodes ready and in the can, so Comedy Central has until August 2011 if they want to keep Futurama's 13 summer episodes for 2012. So we have time.... but the sooner the better

Remember what happen to the idiots at the old BOx network, they got brutally beating and fired. Then the ship got re-newed to fly again under a new contract.

Inform the current airwave masters it maybe time to look around again.

new episodes of futurama can be brought back in syndication by having somebody order new episodes of Futurama from 20th century FOX or 20th Century FOX producing new episodes of Futurama.

When Futurama aired June 24, 2010, on Comedy Central, it helped the network to its highest-rated night in 2010 and its highest-rated Thursday primetime in the network's history.

Futurama fans are assuming that Comedy Central will make new Futurama episodes at least after the 13 new episodes of 2011 will air but as you know Futurama costs alot of money to make even with the budget cuts so there is no gurantee that Futurama will be renewed by Comedy Central or anybody else.

Comedy Central is not making any money in producing new episodes of Futurama.

This confuses and infuriates me!

They should renew it for one more series, but give them a definitive "You've got one more series left so finish it off" and then that should be that. Some episodes of this new series were just awful and I feel the series has jumped the shark.

Cancelling it now would be a piss take because we'd be left again with no realy end to the sries like last time but fi they at least renew it for one more series they can make a proper end to the series and then... Then it can go out on a high rather than end up becoming a pile of shit that some of the recent episodes suggest it might end up becoming.
