With many Annie Awards already sitting above fire place of Futurama staffers, this year's list of Annie Nominations saw Futurama appear in the categories "Best Animated Television Production" and "Writing in a Television Production":

mike rowe from dirty jobs wrote two of the episodes for futurama i did not know that learn something new everyday

Great! I hope they win at least one of the awards. The chance might be bigger to renew the show then (maybe).

I think the second award nomination is for "Proposition Infinity". It aired among the other episodes unlike the holiday episode.

I've just seen Futuramas: "Proposition Infinity" and The Simpsons: "Stealing First Base"
and in my opinion Futuramas episode were A LOT better. But then againg Futurama is my favourite show, and The Simpsons used to be better.

I hate being a killjoy, but those two episodes weren't too crash hot. Entertaining enough, but there were much better episodes this season.
