Tonight's episode is written by Aaron Ehasz(Benderama) and directed by Peter Avanzino(The Late Phillip J Fry) and features 3 tales animated in 3 different animation styles. Peter talked about directing this unique episode in our interview with him and Claudia Katz and hopefully I'll be doing a follow up chat about the experience of tonights episode which should be up on the site in the next few days...

So futurama is my all time favorite show. I've been watching it since to came out and literally love every episode. But tonights (09/08) I did not like at all. it actually kinda sucked. It was very disappointing. The new episodes have been so enjoyable but this one could have been 100 times better.

Did find it funny when to sounds from Robotech was used, loved that anime and still do, but yeah the episode could be better

I agree, not a very good episode.. Weird that they decided to end the season with this one.
