Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

A Final(?) Message From David X. Cohen

Hi all,
Futurama co-creator David X. Cohen sent me this message last night that he wanted to share with the fans. Unfortunately I didn't have access to a computer to post(Though I posted it on Twitter). But here it is now:

"Since the Futurama series finale airs later today, I just wanted to pass along my sincere thanks to Futurama fans everywhere for sticking with us throughout our circuitous journey. Without your powerful show of support, we would never have come back to life for these past four seasons of episodes, or the DVD movies before that. We tried our best to live up to your high expectations, and I hope tonight's episode ranks as one of our two or three best last-episodes-ever ever. On behalf of the entire cast and crew of Futurama, thank you from the bottom of Dr. Zoidberg's second and fourth hearts. Yours,

David X. Cohen"

Thanks David! I'm sure you'll join me in wishing David all the best. Why not send your best wishes to David in the comments below?

I will always cherish the moments I had the series. Thank you for your hard work in all these years, rest assured, Futurama created a whole generation of people with humor and hope for a better and funnier tomorrow!

I have stuck by Futurama since I first read about it in our cable tv magazine in 1999 and have loved it. I was 16 when it first aired and I am 30 now so it has been part of my life for almost half of it. I am sad to see it go, and I do hope a few more dvd movies or net episodes can be made, but I will always have the shows made and the memories that go with them. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks to David and Matt and the brilliantly funny writers and voice talents for making Futurama the absolute best animated series ever...I am sad to see it go but all good things....the ending nerdily reminded me of the closing day in Sept 2008 for the Las Vegas Star Trek: The experience....they claimed that once they closed they would take the Time Station back ten years to the opening so that they would be open again...in a time loop forever...and now Futurama has the same fate...Not bad...not bad at all...
Oh I also LOVED the scrawled in red "Avenge Us!" on the title screen!!! Luv ya guys....always have always will....if you guys make any more episodes or DVDS count me in for watchin and buyin them just like before...

I am a long time fan always will be. We will bring Futurama back again. I refuse to believe ots over.
JoeSep 5th 2013, 16:58
Thank you for Futurama. I've long considered it one of the funniest and smartest shows on TV. Definitely one of my all time favorite shows of all time. I'm hoping against hope that it will return (again). If there's anything we, as fans, can do to facilitate the return, please let us know.
Jaime-T-KirklandSep 5th 2013, 17:14
David 'X'(& Matt G., & Bille W., & Katey S., & John D., Lauren T., and on, & on, & on)...

THANK-YOU! for such an incredibly fun 'E-Ticket' ride for the past 13-14 years... and if there is a god in TV Heaven, FUTURAMA will keep on rockin' it until the 30th Century rolls on in!!!

If you Kickstarter a fan-sponsored campaign, for more FUTURAMA (a big-screen movie, or even a short before one of the new Star Wars films!), I'll chip in with as many Quatloos as I can.

Good Luck, David,
and Best Wishes Forever, Man!

LisaSep 5th 2013, 17:17
NOOOOOOO!!! Please come back Futurama!!!! How can we bring it forward!!? I must see Fry and Leela's baby!! NOOOOO! How can they cancel a brilliant show!???!!!!!
JoeLSep 5th 2013, 17:49
Disintermediate the networks! From my bank account to David X's (et. al.) pockets! You guys that have access to David X and crew - it's on you to get info out of them.

*How much per episode would it cost to make more?
*How many episodes per batch to make it worth while?
*How much risk are the willing to accept?

So say it's $50k (out of my shiny metal ass figure - no basis in reality - for demo purposes only) per episode, 10 episode batch, and they'll take 20% risk. That means we need to kickstart, or indiegogo, or peoplefund, or whatever $400k, with the content makers putting up the final $100k, which they expect to get back (and hopefully more) via iTunes / Play Store / DVD / flipbook / whatever sales.

Revise the figures, rinse, repeat for as many seasons over as we collectively decide we want. We'll let them know when we're done when we fail to fund the next season.

This isn't rocket surgery, it's basic math - anybody can do it. What makes this site special is you seem to have the contact info to start these conversations. I'd do it myself, but David X Cohen isn't in my contact list.
IvySep 5th 2013, 18:17
I can't stop crying. Thank you so much. Er, not for the crying, for the show.
KvasiSep 5th 2013, 20:01
I want to know if the vampire Janos in the final episode is a reference to Janos Skorzeny or Janos Audron.
morganSep 5th 2013, 20:02
This is my first time revisiting the site since maybe 2005. I used to check back regularly for news updates and download all the stuff hosted here. It's really nostalgic to see it hasn't changed. Thanks' whoever runs this site.

The finale was beautiful. I didn't expect that. I genuinely loved it. I felt Futurama returned fully to form with the final few episodes. I don't know, maybe it was just me. These are my sentiments. Rock on Futurama.
demetriosSep 5th 2013, 21:18
Very sad to see the show end, again. :(

Please, think about doing exclusive web episode downloads. Start up Kickstarter like what Jaime-T-Kirkland said above. The fan's will pitch in.

Breaks my heart to see this show done when it has so much to give.

Any way's, thanks for the sweet memories, David! :)

Very good ending to the series.
bring it back !!!!!!!!
if it wont, then i have this to say.
futurama has been a part of my life for many years, it is the absolute best show ever created on tv ( for me at least)
MattSep 5th 2013, 22:38
I hate that the finale didn't get at least an hour so we could properly say goodbye to all our favorite characters. Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode, I just wish that it would have lasted a bit longer. I've been a loyal viewer since 1999 and I'm now 34. It feels strange to have that kind of attachment to a cartoon show, but it was and always has been one of my favorite shows on television. If there are ANY options still available to continue the series on a different network please know that you have our full support! Thanks for the memories!
bertSep 5th 2013, 23:02
Cam good show, hope they bring it back!
MikaelSep 5th 2013, 23:10
Thank you David X. =) for all the years. Best wishes to you! Hope to see more of your magnificent work in the future! =)

Thankyou so much David and everyone else.

Futurama has given me a fantastic amount of joy in my life over the years and eventually inspired me to study animation and start a career as a creative.

I'm so glad you were able to bring this funny, quirky and touching show to the world.. thankyou! :D
AndySep 6th 2013, 00:13
David, your show cured my depression and helped me turn my life around. I will avenge you guys!

Please consider making one more movie or a third show.

Love,

One satisfied fan
EvanSep 6th 2013, 01:18
You can't give up now. You guys have so many fans that want to see you come back. I know it can't be easy to have your show canceled but, you still have to try to save the show. I do have to say though, that weither it was the last episode of futurama or not, it was still great
JeffSep 6th 2013, 02:17
I would be very eager to support Futurama in the future in any way I can. I'll start with buying the last season on bluray as soon as possible. In the future, if it's a Kickstarter, or webisodes, or (hopefully) Netflix picks it up- I'm on board.

If it's really over, forever: I'm sad to see it go, but I know we only miss it because it was so wonderful in the first place. Thank you for creating this, and bringing these little flashes of joy to each of us over the years.
MilanSep 6th 2013, 03:51
I've just watched the final episode of one of my favorite series and was very moved by the final (?)scene of Futurama. I'd be happy to contribute to a crowd funding project to continue the series. Thank you to the cast and crew of Futurama for so many memories....
HungryHippoSep 6th 2013, 05:22
Fan since I was 18. All my friends love the show too. I always buy your DVD's for your hilarious commentary and I never watch an episode without smiling. Thank you, Mr. Cohen. Thank you all.
HannahSep 6th 2013, 05:46
Hi! Thanks for making this awesome show! I really hope Netflix puts this on their list of awesome crap to watch. But anyways thanks for giving us another hilarious season!
ChristinaSep 6th 2013, 09:19
I watched Space Pilot 3000 when it 1st aired in '99 and have been an avid fan of the series ever since. I was overjoyed when I found out the movies were being made, and positively over the moon when the new episodes started being made. I honestly think this is one of the smartest and funniest shows that has ever aired and I will always treasure it. (And hope that is revives a 3rd time. Wouldn't that be wild!) So from the girl that commonly completes crosswords in Alienese, thanks for being awesome.
AdrianSep 6th 2013, 09:27
I'll become a millionaire just to fund you guys to continue Futurama... shame on those companies... shame!!
And we'll hear: We're back in business.... AGAIN!

STOP BEING A BABY AND CHOP MY HANDS OFF! Just say that this is a vacation 4 U,& there will be more.Having a show that is intelligent as FUTURAMA was isn't asking 2 much is it? Thank you David, Matt, and the amazing cast for raising the bar.

Hello everyone. Every great thing in history started as a dream, then one person found the resources to accomplish this dream spread among the masses and united them towards it.

I have a dream, to bring back Futurama, to ensure that it goes far beyond 7 seasons. But i can't do it alone. I need your help to do it.

For years now the cast and crew of futurama has put their blood, sweat, tears, and hearts into providing us with rich sarcastic humor, and clever satire. Giving us untold nights of late night, i just need a laugh entertainment. Years doing what they love and letting their creation brighten our minds, our hearts, and our homes.

As i'm sure you're all aware, on the title screen of the last episode an unusual phrase appeared. "Avenge Us" written in bloody letters. To me? This is our friends at Futurama asking us for help, and this is the only thing they've ever asked of us. After all this time can we really do nothing for them?

I have started a facebook group called Friends of Futurama. It is a collection of futurama loving people to talk about the show and talk to each other, but more importantly to show the TV producers just how many people still believe in this show and don't want to see it go! So stand with us, help the group grow. Remember that it is as soon as you stop basing your actions on the chances of success that success truly falls within your grasp. Together, we'll get futurama back on the air! /groups/440124502768755/ <--- stick that on the end of your facebook home page url to get to the group page! :)
ShaneSep 8th 2013, 10:06
Did he really just say that they tried their best to live up to our expectations?! Because those last two batches of episodes seemed, for the most part, like D-grade pieces of junk turned in by a highschool kid whom doesn't want to be doing the work!
DARTHZOIDBERGSep 8th 2013, 16:45
Shane, you forgot to put IMO.... I still have not seen a bad episode from 1999-2013, name me a better show on right now and may be I can Take you seriously. But most likely I would disagree with you and still think your a D!ck !!!!!!!!!!
gramoSep 8th 2013, 21:10
Futurama is the most touching, fantastically & funny show on the air. Please give this show another chance.
FutupollramaSep 9th 2013, 00:16
It has been an incredible journey! Thanks to all the cast and crew. Goodbye Futurama.
andresvillSep 9th 2013, 09:19
No Mr. Cohen, Thank YOU for the greatest tv show. Futurama will be missed.

If I ever create a What-if-machine, i'll be sure to ask "what if futurama was never cancelled?"
VoxSep 9th 2013, 16:49
Thank you for this amazing series.
nickSep 10th 2013, 05:19
Hope to see more some how great show don't let it end movies or DVDs
AgentBenderSep 10th 2013, 16:55
We will avenge you, David! Either through Kickstarter or just general drop-off of Comedy Central viewing. Really, Futurama was the only reason I watched Comedy Central anyway. I was there for the beginning of the Simpsons and the beginning and end and beginning and end of Futurama. As I fan I hope you, the production crew, and cast are able to get a nice rest and find a new supporter for Futurama in the future. Your legions of fans await.
SeymourwaitingSep 11th 2013, 08:34
Very sad it is over, the last ep was very good, not great because to me there was no sense of closure - hopefully it means a possibility of coming back but I wont hold my breath.

Got to say the ep where fry gets to say bye to his mother - now that was a real tear jerker and would really appeal to those who lost a parent unexpectedly - i cried the 3 times i watched it.
FuturePastnPresentFanSep 12th 2013, 08:54
This has been my favorite show and probably forever will be. I have come to love every member of the Planet Express crew in their hilarity and individuality, especially the self-deprecating Dr. Zoidberg. The story of Fry and Leela and their arduous journey to finally be together has always tugged at my heartstrings. Though, this show is not for everyone; it may even go over some people's heads, I'm glad I was not one of them. I appreciated every wit and humor put into each dialog. So, thank you.
toddkSep 12th 2013, 21:58
I want a blu-ray box set of the entire run, the series and films, One thing on my wish list is for billy and john to re-record their voice parts for season one. Especially the professor.
JasonSep 13th 2013, 06:47

ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!!!!!
ArthurOlsenSep 13th 2013, 17:13
Norway thanks the futurama cast and crew for always this fantastic show. Full of surprises, depht and quality!

Thank you for this awesome ride!

-Arthur

Oh, and if you're in Norway in the year 3000 or afterwards, be sure to let me know so that we'll surely grab a Slurm!
EvilHomerSep 15th 2013, 00:24
I have seen Futurama come and go over the years - and I never missed a show. My kids grew up on Futurama, and get all the jokes, and we even have Bender hats for winter!

Hope it comes back in some form, or on another channel, etc! If not, thank you for all the laughs and memories. You will be missed.

Especially with all the reality crap on TV :/
KittenMittensSep 15th 2013, 10:59
I was a very avid fan since the pilot until the first series finale, but I don't have cable (I am a poor grad student) and was never able to watch the Comedy Central episodes as they aired. Ironically, all the press about the series finale and the fact that the show is on Netflix made me remember how much I love this series. A good chunk of my favorite episodes are from the newer seasons and I totally disagree with that Shane guy! I'd love to see it come back!
AkraymaanSep 16th 2013, 16:11
I would do anything to bring it back, every episode was special in its own way, aaaahhhh bring it baaaaaack!!!! :'(
LuckyComment52Sep 17th 2013, 03:30
David, Thank you for being part of making the best television show on TV.

I don't know where my life would be right now without Futurama. It's been an awesome experience watching this show.

Everybody involved with making this show did a terrific job! It had it's ups and downs the past 3 seasons, but I'm glad we have em! That Finale was really, really epic. Couldn't have asked for a better one.

Thank you for all the years of entertainment you guys gave us. Futurama had a huge impact on my life. The memories I have watching this show will go down with me to my grave.

Also, I'm the 52nd comment, also the number of new episodes ordered by CC. XD

May Futurama Rest In Peace now. I'd love to see one more season, or at least 10 more episodes. But eh, that would totally ruin this finale!
MMcAvoySep 17th 2013, 21:34
So bummed that I won't have more hilarious commentaries that only me and a few colleagues would be able to understand. I hope Cartoon Network takes the show back where it belongs, where you know when and where Futurama will air, not the schedule roulette Comedy Central stuck us with. I'm all for the kickstarter campaign though, GENIOUS!
FarnsworthSep 23rd 2013, 13:55
BAD NEWS EVERYONE!!
No more doomsday devices. No more octagonal shaped atomic monsters that suck blood. No more albino gorillas on the roof. No more roof. No more assorted lengths of wire. No more spaceships made from assorted lengths of wire. No more robots powered by assorted strengths of alcohol.

I WANT MY FUTURE BACK DAMNIT!! *looks for any kind of stick that can be brandished and shaken angrily in the direction of....*

WEEEEERNNNSTROM!
StigSep 23rd 2013, 14:13
I'm just grateful for the one's we got given to us. Works of humorous art that can be enjoyed forever more. If they dont make any more, I'll just continue to enjoy the ones they made - they are gifts that keep on giving.
steveSep 23rd 2013, 14:43
why stop here though? there is so meny more episodes you guys can make i think up new ones like every day. and so do my friends.. if its episode issues let me know we can help with new ideas.. ive been a fan sence it started in 99. please ontact me , ive injoyed them sence the begging an really hope this doesnt have to be the end , i dont even ask for money all i ask is to be one of the first to see the episodes ... thanks for allthe good years , ani hope you goes dont end it now
jessygaspareSep 24th 2013, 17:41
what am i going to watch now
khalidSep 24th 2013, 20:23
oh man its not happening we need MORE OF FUTURAMA
KevinSep 24th 2013, 23:38
Futurama is by far not just my favorite animated show of all time but one of my top 3 favorite TV shows of all time period. This last run of episodes was one of their best and the final episode ranks as one of the top 5 best Futurama episodes of all time in my opinion. Glad to see that they went out on such a high note but I am still sad that the show is no more.
DARTHZOIDBERGSep 29th 2013, 00:50
If any one hears any news about a futurama renewal or a network picking up the show PLEASE let us all no on hear. I cant believe we havent heard anything yet??
KrakenSep 29th 2013, 17:38
Futurama ---> Kickstarter
DARTHZOIDBERGSep 30th 2013, 03:41
Kick-starter is not happening neither is Netflix, Futurama is too expensive to produce and make. The animation and classical soundtrack would be crap.
bwgilbertSep 30th 2013, 05:41
Where will I now submit my complaints to Planet Express? (They lost my shipment of illegal downloads...)

But seriously, any word about perhaps being picked up on another network -- or possibly more cool DVD movies?

It sounds like everyone on the crew remains willing to continue the saga, unless I'm misreading something??? There are alternatives to cable television in this century.
bwgilbertSep 30th 2013, 06:08
Post #63 came through while I was still drafting post #64...

I really have no idea about the show's finances. It is possible that Comedy Central was not losing money on the show. They may have decided that they were giving up the opportunity for larger gains if another show were running in that time-slot.
It is possible that there could be enough viewers out to attract enough revenue to make a small profit if the show moved somewhere else--but this is all conjecture on my part.
DARTHZOIDBERGOct 1st 2013, 02:57
David X Cohen and Matt Groening HAVE REPEATEDLY SAID THE SHOW IS TO EXPENSIVE FOR NETFLIX TO PRODUCE, so if it is too expensive for Netflix then it is too expensive for a Kick-Starter. As for the cost of the show being its demise, it was, the ratings were not all that bad actually the ratings were very comparable to there Adult Swim Ratings. But we all know that ratings don't mean much because most people don't take part in The Nielsen's Ratings research most of it is Guesstimated, be honest do you know anyone who partakes in The Nielsen ratings research ??
DARTHZOIDBERGOct 1st 2013, 03:27
I know that this is off topic but I loved last nights Simpons episode "HOMER LAND" me and my dad were cracking up when homer was being worked over
guantanamo bay style "alchohol detox to the GREATFULL DEADS SHAKE DOWN STREET" Being that my dad is a dead head, which makes me an honarary dead head Pluss I love the music and the life style, That scene made this episode a classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the reason that alot of people on the net did not like this episode is becuase they have not seen Homeland, which was not a problem with me even though I have not seen Homeland, and I think there is a geniration gap alot of fans are too young to get the jokes being that I am 32 I get most of the jokes and the jokes I dont get, my dad who watches with me every sunday and he was born in 1954, he explains the jokes that I dont get becuase of My geniration gap. and yes there are many jokes in Groening cartoons that predate me becuase I was only born in 1981....
justafanOct 3rd 2013, 16:53
Just let me say that the final episode ranked in as best series finale that I have had the personal pleasure of viewing. The series was intelligent and funny which is hard to master. It is a staple in the entertainment industry and any network not intelligent enough to take it up, to continue it longer than the simpsons, is not a network worth watching.
DARTHZOIDBERGOct 4th 2013, 03:14
justafan,

I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
flesheatingbullOct 11th 2013, 19:31
Thanks for the memories. You guys have made my favorite tv show to date, and I cannot thank you enough. Gracias!
jcgenyOct 20th 2013, 14:50
first four seasons were the best and as cool as the simpsons 8-15 seasons . may be you should have not stopped and keept the team to keep the high level of fun...
let s hope you will make something new and as funny as futurama was ;']
DARTHZOIDBERGOct 21st 2013, 21:41
jcgeny,

I enjoyed the entire Futurama run, all 8 seasons. plus the movies and I haven't seen a bad episode yet and I still love the Simpsons in 25 years I have only seen a few bad episodes. If anyone can name me a better show then Futurama and the Simpsons then please enlighten me?? Don't get me wrong I also like shows like Bobs Burgers, Family Guy, True Blood, Treme, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Life's Too Short, and Star Wars The Clone Wars and although those shows are good they are not as good as THE SIMPSONS AND FUTURAMA.....
ZenlokiOct 21st 2013, 21:59
Thanks to the entire Futurama team for 7 wonderful seasons over 14 years. I've always said its a smart show with excellent social commentary and recommended it frequently. I will certainly miss it but wish you all well in your future endeavors.
MjonesOct 24th 2013, 06:14
Futurama's been part of my life for most of my adulthood. While I feel a drastic loss, I can see and feel the finality of this episode. If it does happen to be the series ending one (again, who knows, right?!), it was a great one.
DARTHZOIDBERGOct 24th 2013, 18:04
I am not ready to give up futurama just yet. If the Simpsons can last 25-26 years why cant Futurama and remember I still love the Simpsons so I don't see that much of a decline. I think the the animation got so much better in HD and previously when they switched to Digital that people think the show is different when in fact the show is the same it just looks different. I think the same thing happened to Futurama from 1999-2013 the animation has changed drastically the show is the same but the animation is different to people so they think the quality is down, I CALL THAT A PERSONAL PROBLEM and I am glad it is not my problem because I can sit back and enjoy the show and not get caught up In the BS....
EricOct 31st 2013, 00:35
NOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!! Please don't take Futurama off the air, I waited 10 years for it to come back and now its gone again.

Unfortunately I don't have facebook but i will stand with what ever cause in the universe to see Futurama continue.
FrrrNov 12th 2013, 04:47
Mr. Cohen,
Thank you for so many years or so many laughs, and even a few cries. Futurama is absolutely one of THE most well-written shows in TV history. The characters are so great, and well-developed. You created a masterpiece, Sir. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for my favorite TV show ever.
THeMoGNov 20th 2013, 05:35
Thank you very much Mr. Cohen and EVERYBODY who worked on Futurama. I think I'll sell my TV now, I only bought it to watch Futurama.
JSilvertonDec 8th 2013, 02:21
I am a die-hard fan of Futurama and seriously hope you folks do more direct to disc DVDs until some network has the intelligence to offer you a new contract.
I would also love to collaborate on future episodes. I've a few ideas I'd like to see.
I keep thinking that with Leela so adament to date Fry (early on) that Amy Wong was always the best date he ever had.
Also, I'd like to see Bender have a sister...
In any case; thanks for all the great entertainment over the years. I have the 'Full Collection' in Bender's Head, and the remainder in DVDs.
joshbDec 16th 2013, 19:30
I loved futurama I wish it could go on. idea:
it turns out the proffessor was wrong and they remember it.
anon420Dec 20th 2013, 07:49
no not good in my opinion futurama is just getting started amy wong got fonfonrued to Kif Kroker we hardly got to see them do anything together nor did we see there kids grow up also the relationship between leela and fry is also just starting bender just made a kid with the soda machine there is so far only 1 ep about his kid next professors clone and his best friend we only got to see them do only a few things such as taking over planet express but nothing really else except for a few sceens that they show up in as i was saying the show feels like it is just starting futurama is one show that should not be cancelled or end it is one that could easily reach 30 or more seasons and still be amazing to watch unlike the other few animations out there make absolutely no sense like the Simpsons its over 20 seasons but its pure garbage and i know i can speak for almost every1 that futurama is one of the best animations that actually makes sense and needs to keep airing as to me its the only show i actually care about the show teaches us many of different things i could say more and more i love futurama and id be mad and very sad to see it end to earily we need futurama we dont just want the show to air we need

Does anybody know what the DVD / BLU-RAY sales look like? that could sway a network to pick up the show, and if anyone can retrieve those numbers for us we can put that data in a petition or swamp Networks with e-mails or both.

why not put it on tbs network your future fan

How the fuck does the simpson stay on for 20+ years

but we have to fight tooth and nail for futurama. Which in my opinion is a MUCH better show. Just to stay on the air.

Something isn't right.

Maybe they should have licensed more merchandise so these shitty networks could get all greedy and keep futurama on longer.

Total bullshit, i say.

I wish i knew that this blog existed earlier, but better late then never. this series has been one of my favorite shows of all time. The relationships between the characters was constructed in such a brilliant way. It made me sad to see the series end to say the least. The witty satirical comedy enriched every show! most importantly though the finale was spectacular. In that episode i think the viewer saw the very deep, humanistic love between Fry and Lela become complete in a very unworldly manner. It was absolute genius: all of it. Thank you so much to everyone who wrote, created, and produced this memorable remarkable show.

The finale sucked, especially cuz Leela and Fry won't remember what happened. :/ Guys, come back. I miss the show and keep writing those comics, I'm gonna get some tomorrow.

It was a great ride. I hope to see a real Futurama movie or spinoff someday. I think the fan support will still be there.

Futurama has helped through alot of hard times and i just wanted to say thankyou. At the age of 10 i contracted a life threatening disease that has scarred me both mentally and physically
i have been in and out of hospital so many times ive lost count but i can honestly sat that if it were not for futurama i would not be here today to write this post. I know this sounds stupid but futurama offered me a distraction and no matter how hard or painful life got i always managed to find the weird antics and silly inventions that deified physics hilarious. Futurama inspired me to want to become a physicist and now aged 17
i am going on to study theoretical physics at university. Futurama not only provided be a distraction from the pain and allowed me to pull through it has seriously impacted the way i think and the couse of my life. Thankyou. I wish futurama could.continue and if there was anything i could do i would do it to bring this ingenious show back to life again. I owe you alot. I only wish other people could understand its not just about ratings and money its about the people.you inspire and help through difficult times. Futurama does all this and more. Hope it come back. Thank you. Blair Jenkins.

I still haven't watched the last episode all the way through. - I get too sad, and one part of me wants to be able to still have an unseen episode. I grew up with Futurama and never realized how much it meant to me until it was wrongfully cancelled by cc. Hey! Comedy central!! Bite my shiny metal ass!!!

French guy who came with hope to find fresh news about a comeback of one of my favorite show.

Unfortunatly none. But i still hope for a comeback. You did it one, you can do another. No ones can stop Bender !!!!!! I think that this show as it place on thé discovery channel (humour and science).

Futurama is the only show that i buy after downloaded it.

If it never comeback, i will wait that my kid grown up to see with it the entire show. I never find a cartoon with so much humour and with so powerfull message about what we do now and thoses possible consequense.

The best for all people who still wait Futurama. Thanks for the webmaster of gotfuturama.

Thanks for everything. To this day I still rerun futurama on a yearly basis . I love the show more than any other show out there. I shed tears ,happiness... This show has influenced me in a lot of ways I could have never imagined ! Philip J. Fry Is my hero, not because hes smart or awesome but because at heart he is what I want to be .
A kind hearted simpleton, that has some knowledge is somewhat dorky ... Butt in the end his intentions were always great . Thanks !
