Damn, thats sucks, but I think that they will show the remaining shows that they have left on the shelf. Heres why I think this, They already paid for them. Not airing them would cost FOX millions of dollars, and obviously they are a bunch of money grubing bastards, but thats besides the point. If they dont air these episodes they are taking a large loss and that is somthing FOX is not likley to do. Maybe just maybe if we write enough Letters we can save it for a season or so.... it worked with Family guy a while back so its worth a shot.

I'm pretty sure the current season will go on as planned (eg, a new episode every 3 weeks or so ...), but we need them to know that the fans want more than that. It didn't even make it to a syndicatable number of episodes.

This is REALLY weak. For I'm from Germany and just got the newly released first season DVD box, and for the first time had not to see the show either in stupidly dubbed German or horrible Internet-video-quality. I was really getting into the series. I watched all the first 13 Episodes the last weekend twice, commentary on and off, and had a great time, I was hoping for the series to last at least long as the Simpsons. But I don't see why it couldn't go on on another Network. Bye.

welp, i think it may be time for us to pull an MST3K and start writing letters to other networks begging them to pick up Futurama. Cable networks are probably the way to go, something along the lines of SciFi or the cartoon network. the other broadcast networks probably wouldn't risk their timeslots on something that doesn't appeal to stupid people. unfortunately, the outlook for futurama isn't very good; it has a small but dedicated fanbase, and that's about it... networks don't pay for shows that a relatively small number of people watch.

also, in the mst3k days a fundraiser was set up to take out an ad in Variety to "find a new home". maybe something similar would work here too. (the scifi channel came to MST3K's rescue)

This is so incredibly sad... If FOX chooses to dump the show, at least I hope another network will take over the job... I really can't say much more anymore right now. First The X-Files, agreed, it should have ended sooner or later, but Futurama's not at the peak of its popularity yet, because effort Fox puts in its promotion is weak to say the least.

I've been Futurama fun for about 3 mounths (thought I've seen all the episodes except the latest one) - and I'm very sad if the rumours are true. Here in Russia only few episodes of the first season was officially shown - and therefore we have something to enjoy in near future - but - that's no good anyway.

On the subject of cable networks, how about Comedy Central? This seems the sort of show they're apt to carry, and they certainly seem willing to try unsuaul programming. I mean, look at "Let's Bowl."

I've heard of this stuff before, usually big companies like Fox constantly rethink every show that's on their network. What's probably happening is either;
They're going to move Futurama to a crummy timeslot, and keep it there forever, this means slashing their budget.
Or cancelling the show, probably because someone upstairs doesn't enjoy it. But the thing is, I think that Matt Groenning will say - "If Futurama goes, then the Simpsons goes."
It's a shame that Fox can't send the show to another network.

If this rumour turns out to be true, I can only say... Fox, you should really examine what fans of Futurama the WORLD OVER are saying. I am from Australia, there are messages here from Germany, Russia, and lots of other international places. Have they looked into the international fanbase? Have they taken into account the sales of the 1st season DVD box? If they had done this, I dont think they would be at the point where they are willing to cancel the show.

A sad sad day indeed... Futurama is the only show I care to watch. Apparently it's sharp wit is over the head of the Fox execs. I'll be writing aletter(s) to Fox and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Even if this is just some kind of PR prank (I doubt it), it will at least send a message to Fox that there are tons of people out there that love the show.

I think it would be a good time to remind them that the Nielsen ratings that they use are NOT accurate. Nielsen gets their rating info by paying people to connect a small box to their TV that sends viewership info back to them, and they in turn sell it to broadcasters like Fox. The problem is that Nielsen DOES NOT PICK USERS RANDOMLY. That means that middle class 40-year old people have much more pull than do young people, who are the main demographic for the show.

Seems like FOX only took into account the ratings in the US. Futurama has fans all over - I pay for Sky (owned by Fox) TV in the UK for 2 things. Simpsons and Futurama.

It's one of the best shows on Sky One - way better than the other padding shit they stick in there. What gets me, is the comments are right - they NEVER gave it a chance. Have you seen the official website - they must have spent $50 on it. No episode guide, no forums, no clips - nothing.

Compare it to the sites for the Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle. Been keeping an eye on the website for some time and suspected something was up.

Reminds of the first time they showed "The Simpsons" here in Germany. Timeslot: 14:00-14:30 on a very big (but in the eyes of the youth quite unpopular) channel called ARD. I do not need to tell you that the ARD programm directors soon started to wonder why the kids did not like this new "cool animated series from the USA". Only a few weeks after the first episode was aired, "The Simpson" was taken off the programm. The show was then bought by a smaller channel which is mostly viewed by 14-30 year old persons. In the last few years "The Simpsons" has become one of the most popular comedy shows in German television and has now a quite good timeslot [19:00-19:30, Pro7].

As you might know, Germany is far behind with its broadcasts, just finished Season 2. But from what I can see, the interest for FUTURAMA is still very high, beside to the SIMPSONS. To stop that series would be highly regrettable.

We need to organize letter writing campains to FOX. Lets tell them why not renewing Futurama is a bad business decision.

We can create instructions on what to include and what not to include in an effective letter. Just supplying content templates won't work - people don't customize them enough to be original and then the recipients discard the letters as not having any real thought put into them.

Let me know if you want help in organizing this. I would be happy to draft some of the instructions for letter-writers to follow...

So let's see they give this show a horrible timeslot where it will forever be preempted by NFL overrun, then say it isn't getting good enough ratings, and then they cancel it. I really hope we can save this show. It's one of the best shows on TV, and it hasn't been given a fair chance. Imagine if the Simpsons had been treated this way, we would be deprived of some of the best TV in history. As someone already stated Matt Groening needs to pull some clout, here. After all if it wasn't for his show there would be no Fox network today.

As an idea of what Fox should do if they some how come to their senses and keep this show. How about having its season run from February until the beginning of August. That means new shows in the summer but at least it would never be preempted by any sporting event, and I would bet the ratings would go up.

Fox will never be able to find anything that does well at 6 p.m. (Central time) so they might as well not let a great show like this get away.

Futurama is my FAVORITE show on tv. Every week I turn on FOX to watch it, and every week it isnt on (damn football). And when it is on I love it.

Rather than canceling it why not move it to another time slot where people can watch it??? Move it to 7:30, move malcom up to 8 (when X-files goes off the air). You will keep your ratings up and not have to try an promote some other crappy show on Sunday that will crash and burn. Personally Id have sunday line up be: Simpsons, Futurama, malcom, and then Family Guy. I'd become a shut-in it to watch that line up.

I've just got online and heard this terrible news, I'm very upset and dissapointed. I was one of the 1st people to here the rumour but I didn't believe it at the time, unfortunately it was true. Futurama has so much potential, so many things left to do and is so much better than The Simpsons. I hope that we can save it, I really do.

Fox is annoying. First they cancelled Freaks N Geeks (which was the best show ever), then they threatened to cancel Undeclared (funny that - same director as Freaks N Geeks) and now Futurama? It is very sad.

One thing that doesn't add up: Why would Rough Draft fire its animators? Rough Draft does animation service for many shows (including Simpsons) and it wouldn't make sense for them to close from one show being cancelled.

Futurama, although probably not the greatest source of revenue, has great potential. The great things about the Simspons, are the wide expansion of the characters of Springfield, and the parodies of real life. Futurama has the entire universe to expand. It's wacky and completely off the wall, not to mention funny as hell. Why cancel...?

I think it's a travesty that Futurama gets cancelled, without it being shown! As it stands, here on the east coast, it gets pre-empted for football, games that count for nothing, no less. Example; the redskins vs. the cardnials. Two teams that go nowhere. It's absurd. If anything, why not keep it around for a possible 9:00pm slot, since it's highly unlikely that the X-Files will return.

Bad news everyone!

Today I was so happy to finally be able to get the long awaited DVD box (Germany...). Finally I was able to watch our favourite future series in good quality without the crappy German translation or without the poor quality of the internet episodes (series II will start in seral weeks... Need I say more?). And now THIS! I really couldn't believe it.

The only hope is that there will be series II - IV on DVD in some time. Then there will be circa 50 episodes to learn by heart. And we'll watch them so often that we will know each and every little detail. But what will be afterwards? Dull and stupid reality shows or just another quiz show? TV is getting worse and worse. This is not a new issue. But with Futurama cut off it has lost yet another piece of humor and soul. There aren't many things left worth being watched. A diving magazine on German television has shortly been cancelled because of sports. This says it all. At least there just some good stations left, like 3sat or arte, which hold up a certain intellectual level.

I think Fox didn't do itself a favour with this decision. When are they going to cut off the Simpsons? This will be the next step. And then we'll have to watch dull stuff without a enigmatic humour or a social critical background. And that is what the TV companies want us to do.

To sum it up: This is _SO_ poor of Fox. If I could receive them I would boycott them.

Get all the people you know to tune in for the rest of the episodes this season, and just petition them to advertise and perhaps change their lineup to be Simpsons-Futurama-Malcolm. That way the simpsons fans (who are the most likely to enjoy Futurama, similar crew, same creator) might end up watching it! And with advertising, like they do for Malcolm or "That (insert decade here)'s Show", I mean is there a commercial break on fox that doesn't have an add for one of those, more people would tune in to watch Futurama.

And for those that argue SciFi channel, let's not forget that this is the same channel that cancelled MST3K, an excellent show that is in my opinion MORE intellectual than Futurama. I have a suspicion that the Falwell crew has been writing more letters than we fans have body cells to get the most innovative and brilliant piece of television in the last decade off the air. Damn, thats sucks, but I think that they will show the remaining shows that they have left on the shelf. Heres why I think this, They already paid for them. This is REALLY weak. For I'm from Germany and just got the newly released first season DVD box, and for the first time had not to see the show either in stupidly dubbed German or horrible Internet-video-quality. I was really getting into the series. I watched all the first 13 Episodes the last weekend twice, commentary on and off, and had a great time, I was hoping for the series to last at least long as the Simpsons. But I don't see why it couldn't go on on another Network. Bye.

welp, i think it may be time for us to pull an MST3K and start writing letters to other networks begging them to pick up Futurama. Cable networks are probably the way to go, something along the lines of SciFi or the cartoon network. the other broadcast networks probably wouldn't risk their timeslots on something that doesn't appeal to stupid people. unfortunately, the outlook for futurama isn't very good; it has a small but dedicated fanbase, and that's about it... networks don't pay for shows that a relatively small number of people watch.

also, in the mst3k days a fundraiser was set up to take out an ad in Variety to "find a new home". maybe something similar would work here too. (the scifi channel came to MST3K's rescue)

I've been Futurama fun for about 3 mounths (thought I've seen all the episodes except the latest one) - and I'm very sad if the rumours are true. Here in Russia only few episodes of the first season was officially shown - and therefore we have something to enjoy in near future - but - that's no good anyway.

I've heard of this stuff before, usually big companies like Fox constantly rethink every show that's on their network. What's probably happening is either;
They're going to move Futurama to a crummy timeslot, and keep it there forever, this means slashing their budget.
Or cancelling the show, probably because someone upstairs doesn't enjoy it. But the thing is, I think that Matt Groenning will say - "If Futurama goes, then the Simpsons goes."
It's a shame that Fox can't send the show to another network.

If this rumour turns out to be true, I can only say... Fox, you should really examine what fans of Futurama the WORLD OVER are saying. I am from Australia, there are messages here from Germany, Russia, and lots of other international places. Have they looked into the international fanbase? Have they taken into account the sales of the 1st season DVD box? If they had done this, I dont think they would be at the point where they are willing to cancel the show.

A sad sad day indeed... Futurama is the only show I care to watch. Apparently it's sharp wit is over the head of the Fox execs. I'll be writing aletter(s) to Fox and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Even if this is just some kind of PR prank (I doubt it), it will at least send a message to Fox that there are tons of people out there that love the show.

I think it would be a good time to remind them that the Nielsen ratings that they use are NOT accurate. Nielsen gets their rating info by paying people to connect a small box to their TV that sends viewership info back to them, and they in turn sell it to broadcasters like Fox. The problem is that Nielsen DOES NOT PICK USERS RANDOMLY. That means that middle class 40-year old people have much more pull than do young people, who are the main demographic for the show.

I think you should post a basic letter to FOX on CGEF so everyone has a base for his own individual letter. Also international letters are not as exepnsive as I thought, only 1.53

Seems like FOX only took into account the ratings in the US. Futurama has fans all over - I pay for Sky (owned by Fox) TV in the UK for 2 things. Simpsons and Futurama.

It's one of the best shows on Sky One - way better than the other padding shit they stick in there. What gets me, is the comments are right - they NEVER gave it a chance. Have you seen the official website - they must have spent $50 on it. No episode guide, no forums, no clips - nothing.

Compare it to the sites for the Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle. Been keeping an eye on the website for some time and suspected something was up.

Putting Futurama in a timeslot where the main fan group cannot watch it and then start wondering why the ratings are so low ?

Reminds of the first time they showed "The Simpsons" here in Germany. Timeslot: 14:00-14:30 on a very big (but in the eyes of the youth quite unpopular) channel called ARD. I do not need to tell you that the ARD programm directors soon started to wonder why the kids did not like this new "cool animated series from the USA". Only a few weeks after the first episode was aired, "The Simpson" was taken off the programm. The show was then bought by a smaller channel which is mostly viewed by 14-30 year old persons. In the last few years "The Simpsons" has become one of the most popular comedy shows in German television and has now a quite good timeslot [19:00-19:30, Pro7].

These are unbelievable news, I dearly hope, and I am sure I speak in the name of all other German FUTURAMA fans, that this is nothing more than a rumor!

As you might know, Germany is far behind with its broadcasts, just finished Season 2. But from what I can see, the interest for FUTURAMA is still very high, beside to the SIMPSONS. To stop that series would be highly regrettable.

We need to organize letter writing campains to FOX. Lets tell them why not renewing Futurama is a bad business decision.

We can create instructions on what to include and what not to include in an effective letter. Just supplying content templates won't work - people don't customize them enough to be original and then the recipients discard the letters as not having any real thought put into them.

Let me know if you want help in organizing this. I would be happy to draft some of the instructions for letter-writers to follow...

So let's see they give this show a horrible timeslot where it will forever be preempted by NFL overrun, then say it isn't getting good enough ratings, and then they cancel it. I really hope we can save this show. It's one of the best shows on TV, and it hasn't been given a fair chance. Imagine if the Simpsons had been treated this way, we would be deprived of some of the best TV in history. As someone already stated Matt Groening needs to pull some clout, here. After all if it wasn't for his show there would be no Fox network today.

As an idea of what Fox should do if they some how come to their senses and keep this show. How about having its season run from February until the beginning of August. That means new shows in the summer but at least it would never be preempted by any sporting event, and I would bet the ratings would go up.

Fox will never be able to find anything that does well at 6 p.m. (Central time) so they might as well not let a great show like this get away.

Snail mail's more effective than E-mail. And I was thinking Comedy Central or Cartoon Network. Both might like to get their hands on Futurama.

Futurama is my FAVORITE show on tv. Every week I turn on FOX to watch it, and every week it isnt on (damn football). And when it is on I love it.

Rather than canceling it why not move it to another time slot where people can watch it??? Move it to 7:30, move malcom up to 8 (when X-files goes off the air). You will keep your ratings up and not have to try an promote some other crappy show on Sunday that will crash and burn. Personally Id have sunday line up be: Simpsons, Futurama, malcom, and then Family Guy. I'd become a shut-in it to watch that line up.

BTW, how did you expect the show to get an audiance if it is never on??? Give it a chance and ACTULLY SHOW the FUNNIST show on it. If it does get canceled hope Groning gets pissed and starts another show on another network that will support it. I know I would watch it.

I've just got online and heard this terrible news, I'm very upset and dissapointed. I was one of the 1st people to here the rumour but I didn't believe it at the time, unfortunately it was true. Futurama has so much potential, so many things left to do and is so much better than The Simpsons. I hope that we can save it, I really do.

One thing that doesn't add up: Why would Rough Draft fire its animators? Rough Draft does animation service for many shows (including Simpsons) and it wouldn't make sense for them to close from one show being cancelled.

Futurama, although probably not the greatest source of revenue, has great potential. The great things about the Simspons, are the wide expansion of the characters of Springfield, and the parodies of real life. Futurama has the entire universe to expand. Instead of cancelling Futurama, why not cancel those stupid sit-coms about smart-allecky kids and stereotypical teens?

I think it's a travesty that Futurama gets cancelled, without it being shown! As it stands, here on the east coast, it gets pre-empted for football, games that count for nothing, no less. Example; the redskins vs. the cardnials. Two teams that go nowhere. It's absurd. If anything, why not keep it around for a possible 9:00pm slot, since it's highly unlikely that the X-Files will return.
Good luck everyone, I hope everyone can help bring this hilarious show back for seasons to come!

Bad news everyone!

Today I was so happy to finally be able to get the long awaited DVD box (Germany...). Finally I was able to watch our favourite future series in good quality without the crappy German translation or without the poor quality of the internet episodes (series II will start in seral weeks... Need I say more?). And now THIS! I really couldn't believe it.

The only hope is that there will be series II - IV on DVD in some time. Then there will be circa 50 episodes to learn by heart. And we'll watch them so often that we will know each and every little detail. But what will be afterwards? Dull and stupid reality shows or just another quiz show? TV is getting worse and worse. This is not a new issue. But with Futurama cut off it has lost yet another piece of humor and soul. There aren't many things left worth being watched. A diving magazine on German television has shortly been cancelled because of sports. This says it all. At least there just some good stations left, like 3sat or arte, which hold up a certain intellectual level.

I think Fox didn't do itself a favour with this decision. When are they going to cut off the Simpsons? This will be the next step. And then we'll have to watch dull stuff without a enigmatic humour or a social critical background. And that is what the TV companies want us to do.

To sum it up: This is _SO_ poor of Fox. If I could receive them I would boycott them.

Futurama is the FUNNIEST show on TV! I never miss an episode! I will cry if it is cancelled! We must get it back, and on prime time too! I think that is why the ratings are not good, it is not when people are home! I Need Futurama!!

You guys are all taking this too hard. It's not final...if it were, then why would a petition be worthwhile. Why TELL them not to cancel it...when we can SHOW them not to cancel.

Get all the people you know to tune in for the rest of the episodes this season, and just petition them to advertise and perhaps change their lineup to be Simpsons-Futurama-Malcolm. That way the simpsons fans (who are the most likely to enjoy Futurama, similar crew, same creator) might end up watching it! And with advertising, like they do for Malcolm or "That (insert decade here)'s Show", I mean is there a commercial break on fox that doesn't have an add for one of those, more people would tune in to watch Futurama.
"BANANA BREAD!?!?" I mean "CANCEL FUTURAMA?!?!"

And for those that argue SciFi channel, let's not forget that this is the same channel that cancelled MST3K, an excellent show that is in my opinion MORE intellectual than Futurama. MST3K was even referenced in Futurama. In the wrestling episode when they sit to watch the movie and they're talking, Crow says "Don't talk during the movie," oh geez, I couldn't stop laughing.

I have a suspicion that the Falwell crew has been writing more letters than we fans have body cells to get the most innovative and brilliant piece of television in the last decade off the air. Futurama is an example of why Fox is such a great network. It is unique, funny, and extremely creative. Fox has been on a rebound lately, with quality shows such as Boston Public, Undeclared, Grounded For Life, and 24 (especially). Do not remove one of the best shows on television! Retain Futurama, give it a better time slot, give it a fighting chance!

Instead of trying to get FOX to pick up Futurama for a Season 5, why don't we just try to get another network to pick it up? I'm sure UPN or WB would be interested, they could use a good new show on their networks. Also, I think that the Sci-fi channel may even pick it up.

I'm fully aware that there's nothing I can say here that probably hasn't been said by everyone signing this petition, but here goes, anyway.

A sad day indeed. MAtt groening, what are you doing? I do hope they release seasons 2-4 on DVD. MAybe the influx of revenue will cause them to rethink the whole Futurama idea. And surely they cant be running out of ideas, just look at the simpsons.

How can Fox possibly remove one of the finest and most humourous shows on television while still persisting with other dregs such as the current Simpsons series. In its day that was one of the top sitcoms on our screens but now every episode has its own reasons for being rated one of the worst episodes ever. Futurama has been growing from strength to strength and I speak for many Australians who have their Pay TV just to get their half hourly dose of Zapp and co. Don't let this great show end, it's in your hands Fox.

I must say I would be deeply shocked if Futurama were cancelled. I find it to be consistently one of the funniest shows on TV. The writing remains fresh and original and every aspect of this program is very entertaining. I can't believe you could find better programming for the time slot it occupies. Futurama is the first third of the best ninety minutes of television every week. Part of me says I can't believe it, but the logical part says you could see it coming a mile off.

From the start Futurama seems to have suffered for its refusal to bow to the networks "death by memo" interference. You just can't get away with being intelligent, witty or, horror of horrors, tell things like they are about religion, politics, etc.

It didn't even get a full airing for its FIRST series for god's sake!
I can only imagine that Fox only granted Matt this series to keep him sweet and churning out the simpsons on their network.

Perhaps even fox realise that Matt calling time on the simpsons is only a matter of when now, and this was a cost they didn't have to justify any more.

Futurama and Matt, thanks for some of the best laughs I've had from TV in years.

Futurama is by far the funniest show on television, and has far surpassed The Simpsons. (Which, by the way, isn't even funny anymore.)
I will boycott FOX for doing this. I swear I will NEVER watch FOX again if they go through with canceling this great show.
Maybe they should give it a better time slot and not always play football instead!

I must say I would be deeply shocked if Futurama were cancelled. I find it to be consistently one of the funniest shows on TV. The writing remains fresh and original and every aspect of this program is very entertaining. I can't believe you could find better programming for the time slot it occupies. Futurama is the first third of the best ninety minutes of television every week. Thank you for taking time to read this e-mail and if you've decided to cancel Futurama, please reconsider your decision.

Part of me says I can't believe it, but the logical part says you could see it coming a mile off.

From the start Futurama seems to have suffered for its refusal to bow to the networks "death by memo" interference. You just can't get away with being intelligent, witty or, horror of horrors, tell things like they are about religion, politics, etc.

It didn't even get a full airing for its FIRST series for god's sake!
I can only imagine that Fox only granted Matt this series to keep him sweet and churning out the simpsons on their network.

Perhaps even fox realise that Matt calling time on the simpsons is only a matter of when now, and this was a cost they didn't have to justify any more.

Futurama and Matt, thanks for some of the best laughs I've had from TV in years.

It'll be sorely missed.....

If the studio has any sense, they will reverse this decision forthwith. Given the chance it can grow and mature into a show of the stature of The Simpsons. Hello fellow Futurama fans!
I come from Gibraltar in Southern Europe and watch + tape the show every weekend from UK digital TV. We also receive Spanish TV and Futurama is aired every weekend since it has a good following over there too. To hear this news is very sad as Futurama is one of the best programmes on TV along with The Simpsons. I have thoroughly checked all the websites containing this story and am very disappointed at the decision Fox have taken. I also read that the main problem was that it was not given a prime time slot in the US, but it does on UK cable and sometimes in Spain. All I hope is that another TV network will take up the show which could be a good possibility. I just hope that The Simpsons will not be axed either because if it does then weekends will never be the same again for me as I always enjoy watching The Simpsons + Futurama double bill.
At the moment I am collecting a Simpsons chess set in Spain, with every character being issued every week as its popularity is still big there. I hope the same thing will be done with Futurama too, as I have no collectibles yet.

I believe that Futurama would have a good chance of picking up an audience, if FOX would place it in a time slot that is fair. It is impossible to gain an audience when you prempt every fall Sunday episode with football coverage. Place the show at 7:30 and give it a chance to succeed or fail. The 7:00 time slot is doomed no matter what program you place there.

A show with this many possibilities for story lines can and will do very well in the future. To cancel this show at it's peak of creativity is nothing short of missing out on profits. There are loyal followers all over the US and europe that love this show much more than the simpsons. I hate to say it, but the simpsons are in decline. If you gave futurama their kind of support, you could reach a much better audience, and i think even a more mature one.

A show with this many possibilities for story lines can and will do very well in the future. To cancel this show at it's peak of creativity is nothing short of missing out on profits. I cannot deny that I will miss Futurama deeply, and I think it could have done well for at least another season or two.

On the other hand, I prefer to see them go out this way than to allow the series to be dragged out into years of slow decline, like "The Simpsons." I wish they would have been granted a "series finale episode," but at least Futurama is going out while it's still funny.

at least keep the series going for sale ... if at all possible why the hell cant they scrap something like malcombe in the middle (which IS junk) and whack futerama in its timeslot. All four series of this show are great and it has potential to just keep an going. Like that show that fox tried to cancel years ago (starring a small family bigginning with the letter S)...

Unfortunately, this sort of thing surprises me - not.

This is one of my favorite shows! I always start my adult swim with Futurama. I can't believe Fox has canceled the show. :`(

I actually prefer Futurama over the Simpsons, too. Simpsons have just gotten REALLY lame. You can tell Groening doesn't care about it anymore. He's passed it over to a group of pathetic writers. If you recall, those same writers were responsible for that lame show called "The Pitts". I saw five minutes of it and vowed I'd never watch it again.
