hello Earth people. when I was told of the possible "No Futurama" sunday, i did a little search. According to Zap2it.com, it isn't the case for North America's Fabulous NorthWest.

the listings show that on Sunday, January 13th, the Spokane, Wa Fox affiliate KAYU-TV and CITV (Edmonton, Albert) will show the episode "Godfellas" where A space vacuum sucks Bender into a celestial realm.

the week after that, the listing is for....you guessed it, "Bendless Love"

hopefully someone will upload the episode for our unfortunate east coasters ;)))

Personally, I can't believe that Groening puts up with Fox. It doesn't really matter to me if Fox cares abour the fans, but I really thought Matt did.

Matt, you've got the clout.. get those Fox people in line. And if they don't like it, walk, a'la Letterman to a station that is a little more interested in programming rather than profits.

BTW, "Roswell That Ends Well" was a leftover from season 3 (3ACV19).

I have digital cable, and I get a summary of what's coming up days in advance. I just checked and it will be a new futurama this weekend according to my system, and I am in Ohio. but, this happens every year b/c of football. What those asses at fox need to do is move a bad show like Malc in the Middle to 7 and put futurama where it should be at 8:30
Spitfire75Jan 11th 2002, 00:00
Are we just going to sit here and complain or do something! We cant let FOX just screw us over like this. Someone has to stand up!
We should send FOX our opinions on their programming schedual. Futurama could do so much better with a more descent showtime!
OtisPJivefunkJan 11th 2002, 00:00
I don't even live in America and I'm still VERY annoyed, seeing the best show in history being treated so horribly, this time there is no good reason and I'm sure this will have a knock on effect meaning that season 4 will be even more delayed in the UK, I agree with all the comments below and think that CGEF should submit all of our complaints to Fox.
VFJan 11th 2002, 00:00
I just wanted to point out that not all Americans like football. It doesn't have to be football though, see how FOX can screw us over without having to resort to football? They could put infomercials on if they had to.
AvenroshJan 11th 2002, 00:00
Do you guys know if the new episode will still air on Global (a Canadian channel)? It's happened before...
thomasJan 11th 2002, 00:00
Taking everything into account I think we'll be lucky if we see ten episodes from season four before the almighty all-powerful not-to-be-violated summerbreak. Just think: we've seen only *one* season four episode thus far and that was the season opener Roswell. The other two were left over from the previous season and there's more episodes from that season that weren't shown yet. Considering that season four itself will probably have about 20 episodes or more and the fact that they started the season ludicrously late, this means that most likely we won't see even half of this new season. Outrageous!! Also it's equally enfuriating to see Fox continuously putting re-runs and other stuff in futurama's timeslot. Why do they do that? Can't they just give a *new* episode instead? Sounds like they all underwent an invasion by the dumb-making brains of The Day The Earth Stood Stupid... And then I'm not even talking about the continuously interrupted episodes, episodes which you only get to see partly, the horrendous treatment of season three with the mixed up episodes and the held-back christmas episode and lord knows what else,...
Yet they keep promoting the Simpsons, a show for which I once kept a special place in my heart but which has been embarrassingly awful for the last couple of seasons now. Shove a mellon in it Fux(not a typo).

WIZZLEWAZZLEJan 11th 2002, 00:00
when will people who dont have sky or fox or cable going to see more futurama, ive not seen any for ages and im lasting on recorded videos, i need some more futurama...NNOOOWWWW
KrytenJan 11th 2002, 00:00
This is BEYOND obscene.

There was simply NO intelligent reason NOT to show Futurama this week.

FOX has proven, once and for all, that they simply do not care about the fans of this show.

I suggest that, until a new episode airs, the visitors to this site should not watch ANYTHING on FOX. Not even "The Simpsons".
plankJan 11th 2002, 00:00
Aw maaan, this is just like StarTrek: TOS. Except that only got three seasons. I guess we should count ourselves lucky.
TeralJan 11th 2002, 00:00
Comments. FOX should just roll over and die! No wait, they'll take Futurama with them, that's not good. What is about the Simpsons that make them so fantastic, that it's better to rerun some episodes, than airing a brand new Futurama eps? I don't get it.

Wake up FOX!! Simpsons are stale, predictable and dull. Futurama is fresh, inventive and most of all: it's funny as hell!!!

jonhallurJan 11th 2002, 00:00
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Futurama should get another channel, FOX obviously isn't giving them the attention they deserve.
PhiliGJan 11th 2002, 00:00
I hate football! :-(((
tommyfooleryJan 11th 2002, 00:00
It's time to face the music guys, Futurama's dead. It's only on every 3rd week, and only 1 out 3 of them is a new episode in season.

Whenever it does air, it rates poorly because of the time slot. I give it one more season tops, before Fox pulls the plug permanently on the greatest show on tv.
[-mArk-]hahaJan 11th 2002, 00:00
AH DAMMIT! Why do Americans LIKE football? I fail to see why anyone even could, it's like five minutes of play per ten of commercials!
I tend to think Fox has the best programming (well, I don't own a tv, but I do keep up with family guy and futurama), but has the WORST sense of timing.
-- I agree, the simpsons his really has been of poor quality lately.
FelixJan 11th 2002, 00:00
Futurama is one of the best cartoon series I've seen yet. It surpasses the Simpsons and Family guy! I don't know why nobody is interested in seeing this. Each episode grows to the series plot and each episode brings about something in aesthetic value. The fox website doesn't dig deep enough in each character. Fry has a brother named Yancy, and a newphew named Fry. Bender is made in Mexico and his full name is Bender Bending Rodriguez. Leela lives in apartment 1I, and used to have the badge number 1BDI. She also has another of her kind; another cyclone. What is wrong with you people! Can't you see a well thought out series when you see it? Damn it, I'm sleeping.
SchuldtzJan 11th 2002, 00:00
All things asside, Bendless Love is my all time favourite episode. Why do you guys hate it? Seriously, the Robot Mafia is at their best.
About the post-ponement, that is stupid, addititonally FOX should wake up and realise how good futurama is, and put it on in prime time on another nite, or give it some of the simpson's slots. Most people still think the simpsons is the best, despite the fact that the last 5 seasons have in general been......crap.
Anywho, lata.
po84Jan 12th 2002, 00:00
If you want to make a comment to Fox about this grave injustice, then send email to their feedback email address--askfox@foxinc.com. Of course, it probably gets routed directly to the trash, but it's better than just complaining to other loyal viewers.

Open the floodgates and clog their email servers. Maybe if we take one down they'll take notice.
EarnurJan 13th 2002, 00:00
Oh, man!
Imagine when we're gonna get to watch season 4
here in Sweden! They only just finished season 3
before christmas and now they're gonna rerun
season 2 this spring. I'm DYING for more futurama!
Ppl all around the world are disappointed at this.
I'm just gonna have to kill myself now...

VJan 13th 2002, 00:00
Does this mean Fox is going to stop making Futurama episodes?

Iwouldhavecalledemchuzz-wJan 13th 2002, 00:00
You still get to see the show more than people in Australia
GeorgeJan 13th 2002, 00:00
I think that this is an outrage. I couldn't give a @#$k about football. I know that a lot of futurama fans are in the same boat. However, the least that they can do is announce that they will give Futurama a better spot. I could think of a few shows which many people wouldn't mind being displaced by Futurama. Just my two cents.
jonhallurJan 13th 2002, 00:00
yup, I copied all these comments to an email and sent it.
DavidJan 13th 2002, 00:00
First of all, i don't like all the badmouthing done on the simpsons here! i must have seen at least 200 episodes & EACH & EVERY ONE is funny, original, well made, well written etc.
secondly, & more to the issue - MOST FUTURAMA VIEWERS PROBABLY COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT FOOTBALL!
i'mna do my part & send complaint e-mails to FOX from several e-mail accounts i have :)
I EXPECT EVERYONE HERE TO DO THE SAME!!!
askfox@foxinc.com <- is fox's adress BOMBAZLE IT!
PainoManJan 14th 2002, 00:00
We here in Hawaii thought that the new episode was going to air, but it didn't. Fox did, however have a commercial stating that Futurama would be back with all-new episodes in February.

All-new my eye!
TSNJan 14th 2002, 00:00
We still haven't seen season 3 of Futurama on TV here in Australia! Also, they skipped a couple of episodes of season 2!!!! I hate Australian TV!!!!!!!!!!!
SpikeyMcMarblesJan 14th 2002, 00:00
Take the time to actually type out a letter and send it via normal mail to FOX. Corporations take snail-mail more seriously than they do e-mail. Just a tip.
someoneJan 16th 2002, 00:00
hi i do not watch futurama cause it is a load of crap so to the people who made it ......... make something else.why do dont you make something like.........south park cause they rock so to the people who made it ............. stop making it cause it sucks . the robot freak is rrreeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyy bbbbbaaadddd so you probly dont like me now so goodbye
wizzlewazzle2Jan 16th 2002, 00:00

SquishyFeb 23rd 2002, 00:00
Oh boy, a repeat of "Family Values Circus' Freak Show." Heehaw. That's MUCH better than "Futurama."

I swear to Snoo-Snoo, when "Futurama" leaves FOX, FOX leaves my channel selection.
CedFeb 23rd 2002, 00:00
I am not in USA.. what is KotH ??
SquishyFeb 23rd 2002, 00:00
"King of the Hill"--a once-great cartoon by Mike Judge, creator of "Beavis & Butt-Head." It normally airs between "Futurama" and "The Simpsons." You can see more at the FOX website.
SpudwrenchFeb 23rd 2002, 00:00
Oh joy... a rerun of "King of the Hicks". Lovely. I might as well just roll around on some broken glass and then cover myself with alcohol. It'd be less painful than watching that gawd-awful show.
ChrisFeb 24th 2002, 00:00
yu know, Fox complains about having too many extra episodes already, and they what?? Preempt Futurama.
SquishyFeb 24th 2002, 00:00
Oh, it gets better. Two weeks from tonight, FOX plans to FINALLY air "Where the Bugaloo Roam," but before that, they've scheduled "Put Your Head On My Shoulder," and the week afterwards, "The Problem With Popplers."

One new episode. Two reruns. One pre-empt to show another program already running that same day. Last Sunday "The Simpsons" got a new ep AND a rerun. And of course, the new one can always be rescheduled at the last second.

This isn't sloppy programming...it's a murder.
FoxieFeb 24th 2002, 00:00
Matt!! David!!
Leave FOX, go on another channel before it's too late!!!
PhilBotFeb 25th 2002, 00:00
It figures! Football is finaly over and Futurama has a chance to run, but what dose FARTS(FOX) show instead? King of the Dung Heap. GRRR who even watches that show?!
I was so disapointed I cryed mysealf to sleep. And in my dreams I dreamed a new Futurama episode of my own. In my dream Futurama got a later timslot at 9:30, and it involved Fry and Leela getting caugt in some phonomanon that made them real.
AmyFeb 25th 2002, 00:00
Couldn't help but notice FOX got a horrible 3.6 rating out of "king" in Futurama's timeslot sunday. Futurama does far better than that, doesn't it??
BrainSluggoneeSquishyFeb 26th 2002, 00:00
For information's sake: actually, "Futurama" usually nails a 3.4 rating. But then again, "KotH" is already in syndication, and hasn't gotten the constant barrage of raw deals from FOXecutives that "Futurama" has...let's all pray "Futurama" does well Thursdays.
BobFeb 27th 2002, 00:00
Wouldn't it be better for fox to move "Futurama" to the soon-to-be vacant "X-Files" slot? its on right after "malcolm" and could be paired up with "family guy" to save both shows. If its moved to Thursdays, IT WILL GET CRUSHED by "CSI", one of the top 10 shows in the country.

Or, it could replace the awful awful "That '80s Show" on wednesdays, but then its against tough competition again.

fox is [thinking of] or getting rid of great shows..."undeclared","futurama","Family guy","the tick". :(
