Can't get enough Futurama

DVD set for Australia?

I got several people telling me that the DVD set sold at amazon.co.uk actually has both region code 2 and 4 which means it should work in Australia without problems. Can anyone confirm or falsify this (use the comments)?

UPDATE: The first 5 comments all say it works without problems in Australia and NZ. Have fun with them :)

Although the cases are all labelled "2," there's an Australian copyright blurb at the beginning of each disk. Ergo eck.

I got a copy imported from the uk and it works fine on my DVD player

Yes. I bought the futurama box set from
amazon.co.uk and it plays very well on my
australian DVD player. One note they did forget to send me one of the disks so when
they send you an email confirming your order maybe reply back saying please check all
the DVD disk are in the box thank you.

Does anyone actually know a date for the Aust release? If the UK version is actually reg 2&4 then I will order it from the UK as I dont want to wait for another 6 months (if ever) for its release here. It was rumoured for March, April and now has been taken off the release schedule as far as I can tell.

In sorry you will be waiting some time for the australian release. I have checked with video ezy and they have no idea, also fox hasnt set a date.

I have also confirmed this with Fox...they advised me that they have nothing on the release schedule upto June 30, beyond that they didnt know...Amazon here I come...
