Today at 7PM we are going to see "A Leela of her own". This episode written by Partic M. Verrone (The Problem with Popplers, A Clone of My Own...) is about Leela becoming the world's first female major league Blernsball player. Like most of what you saw this season, this one too is actually a left-over from season 3.

A week later on April 14th Bender is trying to become a wellknown cook by entering a TV cooking contest in the episode 'The 30% Iron Chef'. As you guessed, that's also a Season 3 left-over.

And then ... According to tvguide April 21st will be the way too early season finale 'Where no Fan has gone before' in which Fry tries to retrieve tapes of the forbidden religious cult 'Star Trek'. Guest voices are: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols. This concludes season 4 after a grand total of ... 12 episodes! Way to go with screwing a show over ...

This is really pissing me off! "Where no Fan has Gone Before" was meant to air on May 5th, and I thought that was early. Another thing that really bugs me is that there will still be a Season Three hold over, "The Route of All Evil". I was really looking foward to seeing that but now Fox has screwed it up even more. Looks like it will air two years after it should have, way to go Fox.

Juliet, I hope that's your sick sense of humor. If Futurama ends like this, with only two episodes shown from the Season 4 block and one from Season 3 *still* not shown, it would be a crime to end it now. Then again, when has FOX ever done anything right?

Boy, they really know how to screw a good show at FOX. The only great show they have, and they do their darnedest to kill it. Sometimes I think wild chipmunks could run that network better.

Unfortunately I am a long way from the action, or I would have organised a blockade of the Fox Studio entrance by now.

The treatment fans have received from Fox is pathetic to put it lightly. From the many letters of protest that have been sent to Fox, I have yet to see any response - its as though the viewer simply does not matter.

Fox have the opportunity to seize a large chunk of positive (& free) PR by responding in the correct manner to the recent media attention surrounding the "cancellation" of Futurama.

Instead, it appears a silent approach has been taken. Maybe the fans who have chosen to support Futurama on the Fox network will just go away if we keep our eyes closed.

Wow! A whole hour less of Fox each week (first Family Guy, now Futurama).

I guess it's just as well, because my prime demographic eyes were tired of looking for Futurama on all the Sundays it disappeared (though King of the Hill could be found any time).

Now I'll just keep watching the few episodes I have on tape over and over again and pretend it's
just another Sunday night.

I don't understand why Malcolm in the Middle still deserves a timeslot after the Simpsons, especially since its fan base is large enough to follow MITM to another night. Is it really that big of a deal to stick Futurama in there just for a few weeks?

7PM - NEW SEASON SIMPSONS(A.K.A. CRAPPY YEARS)
7:30PM - OLDER SEASON SIMPSONS(A.K.A. GOLDEN YEARS)
8 - FAMILY GUY
8:30 - MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE
9 + 9:30 - FUTURAMA

Now wouldn't it be interesting if Futurama moved to one of the big 3 next season. I could see it now:

"Tonight on CBS, after an all new 60 minutes, stay tuned for an all new King of Queens on a special night and time, followed by Bender, Scruffy and the whole gang on Futurama. Then, keep it here for a very special Hallmark Hall of Fame movie presentation starring Mellisa Gilbert in 'My sensetive battle with breast cancer after my abusive husband ran off with my adopted daughter'!"

haha ice thats funny. cosmo i see that lil comment on new season of simpsons sucking but ill comment that another day.

i missed alot of futurama it jus seems whenever i home or have the time to watch it its being replaced by football, king of the hill, or some crappy movie. but when i read today in EGM that futurama is dangerously close to being shut down i had to sign the petition. i think fox is insane. madtv has spread the virus.
