Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

More information from source

We asked around for people to verify the story of Futurama being picked up by cartoon network. A reliable source at cartoon network said that there are negotiations going on between fox and cartoon network for the reruns of futurama. So it's not a done deal yet, but we can all hope.

I'm not worried about the fact that there will be no further reruns of the episodes but about the fact that there will be no NEW episodes. So if cartoon network would employ the whole production team, now that would be good news everyone!

I doubt they have the resources for that...

calm down, children.

If the Futurama reruns generate enough cash, I'd say sure they could pull off new episodes. CN orders seasons in batches of 13, so that would be about $15.6 million. But hey, Nickelodeon was able to afford 27 episodes of "Invader Zim" which costs just as much as Futurama.

futurama is my favorite show. I would rather have new Seasons five now, but if it takes a while I am still up for it
