YESSSSSSSSSSS!! They're making my namesake! It was almost a foregone conclusion--the HGBlob mold and material would convert so easily--but I'm orgasmatronically twitterpated to see "official" word here. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Well, it is as official as you will get it. The picture is from Dark Horse, who produce it and TFAW announced it. TFAW is part of the Dark Horse company.

The yellow is sort of annoying but I fear it will stay like that. The blob had yellow eyes too I think. Maybe they have problems with white blob goo.

A round white eyeball, suspended in the inner goo (like the character figures were in HGBlob) might be funky, if it was somehow possible to keep it from rolling about too freely or risking "rupture"...

HGBlob's eyes were indeed yellow, and one can't blame Dark Horse for saving a nickel using the same mix. One can always "fix" their Slug's eye color with the right paint, although trying to "round" the surface material might be dangerous...

In any case, the Zapp Gun is sweet, and I already have it on order. "Don't you just love the graphics?"
