Futurama Season 2 DVD Trailer

Look what I found on the FOXy UK server: The Trailer to the Futurama Season 2 DVD set. They don't have their info on the Futurama DVDs up yet, but finding the trailer was easy enough guess-work.

The second Futurama DVDs are released on November 11th for region 2 (Europe). They can be preordered at 20% off (£32) at amazon in the UK or for €50 at amazon in Germany. All 19 2ACV episodes and lots of extras are packed on the 4 DVDs.

Now preorder. I said dooooo it!

Hello there, sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but how come the seem to be some episodes from season 3 on the season 2 DVD, 'Honking' onwards?

The DVDs are released according to *production* seasons, not *airing* seasons. The Honking and following were produced for Season 2 and aired in Season 3.

Nice trailer, if they showed it a few times on Channel 4(UK) they would sell a hell of a lot more sets. i NEVER saw the season 1 trailer until i watched it on the dvd!

I preorder the set during the short time when it was something like 50% off. :-))) Thanks a million to CGEF for announcing it :-) I read the post in the afternoon (usually I connect at night) and ordered straight away. Glad I did. :-)) Now I can't wait.

Yeah, that insane deal at Amazon.co.uk was great while it lasted! Now it's just a matter of sitting back and waiting. On another note: I read the other day that Fox has announced that The Family Guy Season 2 dvd is slated for an "early 2003" release. Also that there may be a US release of the 1st season with some extras that weren't on the U.K. dvd. Oh what a wonderful thing the dvd era is!!

*Sigh* - Although I'm happy for the R2 fans who will soon get to watch season 1 AND 2 on DVD whenever they want, hearing an American voice pimp an American TV show on American designed and authored DVDs that you can't buy in America just raises the "sucks" factor a point or two.

BUT - thanks for the great links. At least I can pretend. Maybe one day...

No, it isn't out anywhere except Europe if I understand correctly. It certainly isn't out in America anyway. Will it ever be released there? Probably not if FOX can find some "reason" not to release it.
