Futurama Petition Crosses 150,000

Our Futurama petition crossed the 150,000 signature mark yesterday. Even when deducting 20% fakes/doublets, we still have one hell of an impressive number here.

While it is unlikely that FOX will change its mind on the ground of the petition alone, it does give Groening and Cohen something big to point at during negotiations. Both refered to it multiple times during interviews.

Wow, it's been so long, and the very mention of the FOXecutive treatment of "Futurama" STILL makes blood squirt out of my eyes in pure violent rage. Owch!

its a good number, but if everyone from around the world who watched futurama signed on there. i'm sure the number would be much higher. if only fox would listen to sense, and change it's mind on one of the best shows on tv.

150G's, that's a pretty decent amount of signatures. If you printed out all the names and rolled the papers together, it'd probably make a good instrument to flog the FOX execs. with.

150'000 already signed the petition, hm what if everyone was to pay a dollar, or maybe five? I suggest that an onlinefund is started to pay of the cartoonists to do more episodes. There is a good example of how this could work, check http://www.blender3d.com/ .

FUTURAMA ROCKS...the new shows on FOX suck royal butt. Only thing left I can do is buy the episodes on DVD. I know it'll be worth it. Why is season 3 only in europe so far?

I am MAD about Futurama. Why didn't Fox stop the Simpsons instead!? PLUS it's worse in England because you can't buy any good Futurama stuff!! I've been pleading for a Fry or Bender figure for months! Come on, sign more petitions, at least for them to bring a film out!

futuama was the only thing i could watch whenever i felt good/bad/sad/mad/etc. and now fox brings this crap upon us this is the greatest that the number of petitions sighned is in the uprise and im sighning all the ones i can find and i hope you do the same

The Simpons are done, the new Family Guy's aren't funny, Futurama is their Ace in the Hole. If ever there was a time to use it, it's now!

Personally I think they are all funny. I wish they would have a pure TOON night on Sunday night. First the Simpsons then Futurama then American Dad and finally Family Guy. It would rock!!! FOX dont be stupid give us back the shows we love!

Thank you FOX! I was pleasantly surprised that they were bringing it back (it's Sept.09 now), but without the original cast. I signed another petition begging for their return. They did it! Now, I want to be one of the few to take the time to go ahead and sincerely thank you FOX! You care, you really really care, I can't contain myself. I have to get the mop... Thank you FOX, no really, thank you for bringing back Land of the Lost....oh, sorry, thank you for bringing back FUTURAMA...Futurama has a future. What will they say in the year 3000? Thank you FOX, and thank you "gotfuturama" for the opportunity to thank FOX. Thank you.
