Can't get enough Futurama

On my daily journey through Futurama content on the web, I recently came across a poorly done russian CGEF rip-off and I saw another one in German once, too. This made me think some. Why not have more talented people use some of our content instead of people taking our layout?

So, here we go: From now on we'll be serving our news headlines with a brief excerpt through the means of RSS 0.91 at www.gotfuturama.com/Includes/CGEF091.rss. If you got a PHP-nuke or Post-nuke website, you can easily include our headlines on your site and I think some blog systems allow syndicating RSS, too. Or just parse the XML inside the RSS-file (see a simple code sample in Perl).
If you use this feed, please try to fetch it no more than once an hour and send me a short eMail so I can see if things are working correctly.

Examples of CGEF News integrated into website designs (using a custom feed) can be seen at the Futurama Message Board PEEL or the light-weight CGEF version I set up at DOOP.org.

That one is down already since I asked him to stop doing that. He promised to be back and then I'd be whining about how his site would be the better one. My guess (judging from his spelling and behaviour) would be that he was about 10. So, I didn't take it as serious.

PS: I don't really care for the russian one either, seeing it's not working and nothing close to a real competition to us. It's just a shame that people keep doing these things without asking.

Btw, whates with the idea, to make CGEF in german or other languages? Like Futurama Outlet has done it.
The other lnguage versions can make other webmaster.

Sorry, we aren't planning on a German version for multiple reasons:
1. Most Germans are able to read English by the age of 14.
2. We couldn't really control the quality (The Outlet only gave away their Layout)
3. There are plenty German Futurama sites and some of the bigger general ones regularily translate our news. Try futuramasutra.de

PS: If you got a livejournal blog, I think you can easily add the RSS stream as a "friend" on your site. Not sure if that's only a pay-feature at LiveJournal though.
