Can't get enough Futurama

Slurm Can & Cards Available

"Woohoo! just received this email from TFAW!" was what I got mailed by Sebastien two days ago. What he was so happy about? He got a notice by email telling him that 'Things From Another World' is shipping the Slurm Can + Playing Cards - for $5.99 instead of 9-something!
While it does not include real slurm (d'oh), the can is nicely done and the playing card set comes as a welcome bonus. Read Jon's detailed review and then go and order the can & cards! This thing is hard to find anywhere else.

Yet I can walk into Media Play any day of the week and buy The Simpsons Duff can playing cards. Jerks. You already carry The Simpsons. The checkbox for Futurama merchandise has got to be right next to it on the order form. But noooo...

(The lack of Region 1 DVD's is really starting to take its toll on my psyche.)

Okay, first off, don't forget to add the additional $6 for shipping on the Slurm can. A little much I do believe, but still worth it.

Second, I have to say something about all the people complaining about lack of region one dvds. When I first found out about the Season 1 dvd in the UK, I was outraged. Soon after that I became determined to beat the system and find a way to view these dvds. After only a few days of research I was able to find a region free dvd player on the net for very little and now I'm able to watch the Futurama dvds no matter what. I know a simple consumer might argue that they should not *have* to go out and buy a second dvd player just to watch their show, but if something means that much to you, I don't understand why you wouldn't do whatever it takes to get what you want. These people out there acting like it's completely *impossible* for US consumers to get these dvds just aren't trying hard enough.

And don't think that buying an additional dvd player is *the only way* that you can watch these dvds. Give your psyche a rest and do some research. You may just find that your dvd player is capable of being "hacked" to play all regions. I do believe the link is on this website.

Yes, but sales of Futurama would be so much higher if americans could buy them in stores! This is FOX's way of beating Futurama into a pulp.

Well, they are out of stock again at the moment ...
