Can't get enough Futurama

Route of all not so evil Ratings

Fast National TV ratings are in and ...

7pm to 8pm:
1. CBS "60 Minutes" 9.8/16
2. FOX "Futurama," 6.0/10, "King of the Hill" 6.1/10
3. ABC "Christmas in Aspen" (don't have the rating, but 3rd)
4. NBC "Hollywood Christmas Spectacular"
5. TWB "Gilmore Girls Beginnings" scored a 3.3/5

So: A great second place for Futurama again with a /10 rating
Malcolm at 9pm only scored a 5.6/8

its great that people are finally tuning in. too bad its a bit too late to show support and its also too bad that the episode was a let down. hope people still come back for more.

I thought it was a great episode, but may not be the best for new Futurama fans as they don't know the characters well. Great ratings though! (tell me where you got them)

Not only better than Malcom in the Middle but alot better than Andy Richter Controls the Universe which took another nose dive at its 9:30pm slot. I think it came in at around a 4.1. To add insult to injury Fox will be promoting Andy Richter heavily during the month of December as it will be showing on Tuesdays a couple of times as well as its regular Sunday time slot.

Pretty good ratings considering a lot of people don't get to watch because of football (me). The promos for the Andy Richter show make it look like the biggest piece of crap. I won't be watching it.

Not too bad for A DEAD SHOW...huh, Gail?

(Smiles and watches Berman struggling to free herself from "Firefly," "Fastlane," and "girls club" as they drag her under the waves bloop bloop bloop)

Aslate: I don't know if [-mArc-] added it after your message, but the source of the ratings figures is at the bottom of the article...

can anybody tell me what these ratings mean exactly - how do they arrive at 6/10 ?

many thanks in advance

The first number is an index for how many people total saw it in the Fast National sample set.
The second number is the percentage of people watching Futurama out of those who had their TV on at that time.

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. It's good to see Futurama get decent ratings while the rest of the line-up fails, but it won't change Fox's mind. Their only solution will be to either a) double the advertising of Malcom In The Middle or b) replace it with new episodes of The Chair(or The Chamber, or whatever the hell it was called).

You made a mistake. The website www.sfgate.com stated that the episode ranked [97] in the ratings with a 2.6 rating.
