Can't get enough Futurama

CN back to Square 1 at End of March

Starting March 25th (the day you should get your Season 1 DVDs in the US), Cartoon Network will jump back to the Futurama Premiere "Space Pilot 3k". Problem with this is that Cartoon Network will neither be showing 3ACV12 which just aired in the current "5th" season nor 3ACV22 or any of the 4ACV episodes just yet.
This would indicate that FOX put some additional limits in the contract with Cartoon Network. No idea why the last episode of the 3ACV run can't be shown, though. We'll inform you if there are changes still.

Could be they don't wanna blow all the episodes in a single run.

I'm gonna have to go with Kryten on this one, I was kinda thinking about that myself....

Well, at least it's official now. Weird, though, about 3ACV22....Why in the world wouldn't CN be allowed to show that?

FOX probably wants to kill Futurama on Cartoon network as well. ;-)

Seriously, I can see why CN wouldn't want to blow all the episodes so soon, but not showing the season 3 episodes (just recently aired) is suspicious.

im new here anyway is it possible that cartoon network will get new episodes made.

In your dreams buddy.

Though that would be great to see futurama move to a station that really appreciate that show, I don't think those incompetent bastards at Fox would allow it. That would worsen their reputation which is already bad.

What!

Network that really appreciates the show? Isn't that CN?

I'm sure we'll see them eventually... No need to get angry just yet. If anyone it's at fault it's Fox for not giving up the rights to the real Season 4 episodes (now season 4,5 and probably 6) since they're currently "showing" this season.

And why is it do they think that 3 reruns in one night on a Sunday in sweeps would get them anything besides terrible ratings? They really need to put Futurama in one of those programming gaps.

3ACV22 aka "30 % Iron Chef" IS listed on Cartoon Network's episode guide (http://www ... index.html) as the LAST of the 53 episodes they will be showing. Now if they would only run Family Guy, I'd be all set! :-)

I just shake my head and change the channel when I see an old episode of King of the Hill on at 7 pm on Sunday.
