Futurama 2004 Wall Calendar

I got a first picture of the Futurama 2004 Calendar cover for you. The list price is $12.99 and release date should be August 2003. Preorders are available at $10.39. The picture looks like a reference to M.C. Escher's "Hand with Reflecting Sphere". This might hint at an art theme. I'll try to find out.

Nice to have some evidence that the calender is actually going ahead. This year is the first year I've bought the Futurama calender, and I'm very happy with it, this 2004 edition will be a good buy for any fan of the series.

If there is an art theme running through the whole calender and not just the cover (inspired by the great M C Escher), I suppose we can expect parodies of other great works of art?
If this is the theme, i'll bet there's a "Mona-Leela".
Does anybody know when the calender will be made available for pre-order on Amazon.co.uk, or any other UK site?

Amazon.co.uk have had it available for pre order for quite a while, over a month i think, but they still don't have a picture or anything like that, and have listed it as "out of print" which is strange. Anyway, pre order away!

amazon.co.uk only has a "preorder used" button for now. Shouldn't take too long for them to change that though.

Hey Marc, Is it true they are thinking of making a Futurama movie..in a web site it said that they dont know yet that maybe is "In production"??????

They (Groening and Cohen) said that they like the idea, but there is currently nothing in production nor at any advanced preparation phase.

please tell me the calendar will be better than the 2003 one. that was awful! i want the pictures to be great photos from the show but instead i get pictures of comics??! the new one better not be like that. it better have clips from the show. please tell me it has?
