why r they showing luck of the fryrish from season 3 more futurama season 5 episodes and if anyone has screenshots from the ever last episode of futurama pliz send them 2 me if they r makin any more episodes

Damn you, damn you to hell! I have been nervously waiting for the moment when we here on the rainy side of the atlantic would gloriously surge ahead of the americas with screenings of Futurama season 5. But perhaps your information is incorrect as at the end of "The why of Fry" I'm quite sure the sky one announcer asked us to "stay tuned next week for another all new Futurama", only time will tell which one of us is correct . . .

What is the problem I wonder? There shouldn't be a problem?? Is it possible for the Season 4 to come out without been shown on TV??

I looked on the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), and next week they are showing the luck of the fry fish!

Something's not right here, Sky claim they can air episodes before Fox, season 5 is doing great (it's the third most popular show on Sky). The audience figures seem to be growing every week, so why stop now!?
I checked the on screen guide for next week, and the luck of the fryish is listed. But I know I heard the voice over lady say "stay tuned next week for more ALL NEW Futurama! (i recorded the episode so i know i heard this because i checked!) I hope Sky change thier minds and keep airing season 5. Even if they do air Fryish next week, maybe they'll show a new one the following week? If what they say is true, and they don't have to wait for Fox maybe they are just slowing down a bit because there are only 8 new episodes left. Afterall The Simpsons only gets a new one every other week.

If you ever catch a new Futurama, look at the end of the credits and the year should say 2002. I notice this the last time a new Futurama was on about several weeks ago. I think on the production number it has the number 4 so that must have mean it is still Season 4.

Gail Bitchman needs to be fired ASAP. Her reign of terror needs to stop.

After Monday Nights (Or Tuesday mornings) Star Trek: Voyager Double Bill, Sky One just advertised Futurama on Sunday as a "New Episode"?
Though Skys Site says that the Episode on Sunday 4th is Luck of the fryish.
Can they advertise something that they can't deliver?

You'd think that the man largely responsible for the success of the FOX network would get to make a series finale.

Oh well, I'm glad to at least see that there are a number of still-unaired episodes, even in the US. "The Why of Fry" is a must-see, in my mind I think that story makes a good end to the series.

Ok I think this is good news, if it's true. I just recieved the latest copy of the Sky customer magazine (hardly an essential read). However, what did catch my eye is the Futurama article on the first page of the "Top entertainment" section. The short article "Future perfect" goes something like this...
"They say say you don't know what you've got untill it's gone: maybe that's why the heated discussions emanating from America as to whether there'll be any more Futurama episodes is making the new series the bet yet.
This month fans can look forward to the crew battling giant space bees, confusions of parallel universes and questions over Benders sexuality. tune in to catch the hit animaion series on top form".
Notice they say this month. With any luck they'll change thier minds about re-runs and air these episodes. I assume they mean The Sting, The Farnsworth Parabox, and Bend Her.

Well, only time will tell, but I am "convinced" sky one will be showing an all new Futurama this weekend. They've been heavily promoting season five since 'crimes of the hot' and have been rewarded with solid ratings. But then again I could be wrong . . .

Well, on Monday night, the day AFTER they showed "The Why Of Fry", Sky One aired a trail for "all new Futurama Sunday at 7.00" - so keep your fingers crossed!

But sadly, I note that radiotimes.com list reruns on sky one for 4th and 11th May ["Luck of the Fryish" and "Time keeps on Slippin"]

Isn't it a Fox affiliate? I mean it is evil, they didnt show south Park "Jared has aides" Whatevever that's about???

There are no such things as affiliates in Europe. Independent local (nationwide) networks buy sindicated programs, from whomever it is offering. So in Holland one can see Fox shows aswell as ABC, CBS, NBC. Heck, they even might show the odd BBC show :-)

Then again, they cancelled Futurama after the first season here (hence the dutch subtitles on the season 1 box, but not on the season 2 box)

Well rupert Murdoch owns a percentage share in the sky broadcasting system. So they do have Fox Connections!

Well they've just shown an ad claiming "all new Futurama this Sky One Sunday". Who knows...

It is as feared, Sky One have gone back to airing old episodes and will now not show the rest of season five until it airs in the States.

This Sunday, 11/5/03 Sky are showing "Time Keeps on Slippin'". Although both this and "The Luck of the Fryish" are really good episodes they can't compare to an all-new episode. Why can't Sky show new episodes before Fox, that sucks. It even said in the May Sky magazine, information about three Futurama episodes ("The Sting", "Bend Her" and "Obsolutely Fabulous") to air in May. Again, this sucks.
