Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

Slurm and Trash Can back in stock

eMerchandise got a new shipment of the hard to find tin Slurm Can with playing cards ($7.95) and the Trash Can ($13.95) today. You can find some other Rix Tin products on their Futurama page. As you can see on the right, I got the Slurm can myself (for $12...) and really, it's a neat thing to have. Usually, when I announce these two items, they're out of stock within 2 days or so again. Maybe they got a bigger shipment this time... If you aren't sure yet, read the reviews for both the Slurm and the Trash can.
UPDATE: Told ya. The Slurm Can is out of stock after less than a day already. Act faster next time ;)

Yeah.
Oh, and my hand isn't freakishly small, the can is somewhat oversized so the playing card deck fits in.

mArc, does the can include the tin box with Bender's head on it which you can buy the cards in seperately?

I ordered a few futurama items from eMerchandise a couple of weeks ago, the brain slug, H.G Blob, and the slurm can. The first two items arived a while ago. But they promised me at the time that my slurm can would arive later because it had to be backordered. I got an Email from them yesterday saying that they had just got a whole new bunch of Slurm cans in and my order was being shipped. So I guess you have me to thank for the cans being back in stock.

#3: The cards are in a plastic wrap, not a tin case. The backs of the cards have Bender's face though. I think it's some irritating in the review with the picture there. I'll see for that tomorrow.

#4: There were dozends and dozends of backorders of the can. It's really one of the most popular items. Mostly, because it looks great.

When do we get to see a picture of the whole mArc?

If you insist ;) Was for a contest on PEEL by VF telling her why she should give candy to you: clicky.

Nice! Thanks... I guess.

I wonder if I could knock out a Fox Exec. with a Slurm can that contain "sleepy gas" just for the fun of it. Now that would be a great idea for the next Grand Theft Auto game. Just a pissed-off Futurama/Family Guy fan going around Fox headquarters and torturing or killing all who cancelled all the good short-lived shows like Futurama and Family Guy. It would be Rockstar's hotest selling game to date. Also put Bobby Hill because I hate that jackass and I like to see him die or tortured.

SIDE TOPIC: Diamond Distributors, the major US comic supplier, just cancelled the Zapp Brannigan Atomic Ray Gun. Rocket USA's site doesn't have any recent news about the item...is it dead, or just delayed (again)? Anyone know?

Regarding the Slurm Can: I love this one. The whole (silver) top is removable, and one can use it for anything from a pencil cup to a spring-snake storage unit to a (badly) disguised "safe." (The top is not designed--nor meant--to look realistic.) Funny phony nutrition label on the back. Mine had a barely-perceptible "dent," but I think it was a result of the manufacturing process...besides, it makes it look that much more like the real thing.

Huzzah for another piece of bizarre Futurama merchandise (or reappearance of such.)

Is a range of T-shirts too much to ask for..? You see, I'm a big Futurama fan, but sadly, I have outgrown dolls and novelty cans..

I'll proboably by both cans. Then i can store all my Futurama stuff in the trashcan :D.

I like how people buy a bunch of them and then screw you over buy selling them for lots of $$$ on eBay.
