Then again, I do enjoy seeing elderly people in wheelchairs playing chicken. Sure beats well written shows with great characters and good animation.

Replacing Futurama with this "game show" sounds like another "We know that we made a lot of money with your work, but we still don't like you" to Matt Groening from FOX.

Great sarcasm...no wait...are you serious with this gameshow? naaa, it's sarcasm, is it? well, however: FUTURAMA RULEZ! and let's hope for the best :)

That show sucks soooooo much! You basically place bets (with your friends) on which of 2 or 3 people will win a certain task or soemthing.

E.g. theres a line up of 6 people...you have to guess which one has tiny little parents.

Or how many chicken nuggets can soem fat guy eat.

PLACE YOUR BETS! BET NOW! (thats what they say..pisses me right off!)

If this is the case and banzai takes over futurama...it will be a sad day for us futurama fans, and the asian community, cuz it picks on every single stereotype of asians.

Which begs another question:

In this time where some kids are afraid of the unknown and different. Should we really be feeding them such stereotyes?

There showing Banzi in the US, wow british programmes are doing well there. Yankies you can thank us for I'm a celebrity get me out of here and American Idol (Or pop idol here).

Why are the americans buying all the crap british tv shows? I'd be suprised if it wasn't the british version being shown as it features british minor celebrities such as rik waller!

I don't know if anybody has ever read Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, but he makes a point in the book several times that there is a 4-dimensional viewpoint into all this. Whatever happens to Futurama on Fox, it has had its run and its place in history, which cannot be taken away.

Anyway, I've heard that Matt Groening will not let the series walk away into that good night. He will push it in whatever medium he can. That, and the success Futurama is having on Cartoon Network, is comforting.

Oh, and why are the Americans buying all the crap British shows? Cheap production costs, pre-packaged development, and talent and contestants who will work for a pittance. Why take a risk when you can be certain and boring?

If nothing else, putting Banzai in the "death slot" only confirms that FOX knows that time slot is a lost cause. The show probably costs about the same per episode as FOX spends on Friday donuts, so even if 11 people watch, they still make money.

God - I must be getting old. All of the new network schedules give new meaning to the word "craptacular".

Banzai is hardly cutting edge entertainment (like Futurama is...sorry...was)

People will get bored of Banzai, the joke wears off after the first episode.

I would like to apologise in advance to the US for the TV show Banzai. It's shit. please don't judge English TV based on this pointless 5 second "wonder". I'm telling you this now so that you don't build your hopes up that Fox have put another quality show in Futurama's place, they haven't. Banzai is worse than reality TV it is pure lowest common denomonater.

I despise the FOX network and all that is affiliated with it (except "Futurama" and "The Simpsons", of course). These people wouldn't know quality entertainment if it leaped up from the sewer and tore their heads off. "Futurama" doesn't deserve this. I seriously feel the desire to catch a flight to the FOX studios and hold their president at gunpoint until they agree to bring back "Futurama" on a regular 22-episode-per-season basis and cancel all this "Pitts' and "Oliver Beene" crap. If FOX ever does stoop so low as to bring in "Banzai", I will personally distribute my own chain e-mail asking people to boycott the network. With any luck, it'll go down in flames and we'll never hear from it again (as long as Cartoon Network picks up the rights to "The Simpsons" too). It's seriously beyond my imagination how a television network can behave this idiotic.

Believe me, UK viewers are as dismayed about the treatment of Futurama. Banzai is, as has been pointed out, cheap TV at its worst. Please, please, somebody check TV programme commisioners both here and in the US for brain slugs! Will the US ever forgive Britain for Banzai? Fox - get a grip!

Throw away your TVs please, its terrible what they did to it. I'm only 26 years old, but I remember how TV was when I was young. It may not have been great, but not anything like now, watching a few hours a week. The future is computers & dvd

Fox letting Futurama slip away unheard and unseen, it makes as much sense as Bush being President. Our only hope is for Fox to come out of their cave and into the light, and they can start doing that with a new season, but I have a very bad feeling that no one there will become so enlightened. Such a pity. My heart goes out to the Futurama crew {both everyone involed in making it and the Planet Express crew}, and to everyone who will never again know the joy of seeing a new season of Futurama dawn on the once great station. At least there is a place where we can come together and voice our opinions and share our loss and heartache, even if Fox wont listen to us.
