Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

Remeber Me after my Death!

Crew: "Surprise!"
Fry: "Happy funeral, Bender!"
Bender: "A surprise funeral? For me?"

Well, not really a surprise. FOX announced their Fall 2003 schedule and there's no place for our lovable rascal, says the entertaining FOX president Gail Berman. Instead, Oliver Beene will take over the 7PM death-slot for a while. He'll likely be replaced mid-season by a British-made Japan-style humiliation game show called Banzai featuring elderly people in wheelchairs playing a game of chicken to the commentary of a fake clich

RIP:(

I hope FOX airs the last few episodes soon and that we will maybe see a 90 minute movie or that CN will pick up Futurama, but I don't think that will hapen:(
DogwalkerMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Everyone saw it coming but I must say I'm still shocked. RIP Futurama and RIP Fox you stupid fickle fools
WigglesMay 15th 2003, 00:00
It is truly a sad day for me. Reminiscient of when the Tick was canceled.
DamitolMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Oh well - it's not like this comes as a surprise or anything.

Of course the good news is that (1) this means FOX really will burn up the last 8 this summer so we have someing to look forward to there, (2) Cartoon Network will get access to all 72 episodes this fall, (3) Series 4 DVDs will hit Europe in the Spring and the US in the Fall (most probably), and (4) this frees up Matt and David to seriously start discussing the future of Futurama, if any.

But - if this really is the end, all I can say is that once the Season 4 DVDs are released in Region 1, I'll own over 24 solid hours of wonderful comedy that I can go to again and again for a laugh. So - a big thanks to everyone who touched the program in any way, including -marc-.
GocadMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Another sad day for the Planet.

Bender: "Another classic science fiction show cancelled before its time."

RIP Futurama. Everyone will miss you.

MontyCarloMay 15th 2003, 00:00
So it goes...

Thank you Matt, thank you David, thank you Billy, Katey, John, Tress, David, Phil, Lauren, Maurice, and everybody else who put Futurama together. I am glad for it having been.

It's the best thing I ever saw on TV.......

ITS NOT FAIR! BRING BACK FUTURAMA AT ONCE, I SAY!!!!!!!!!
WHY, WHY DID IT HAVE TO DIE?
rest in peace, the best show on tv
TimoMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Thanks to everyone involved with the creation and promotion of Futurama. It would have been great to have more, and I still hope for that movie, but I am grateful for the run it had. It will always be my favorite show, and is one of only two shows that I can watch repeatedly ad nauseum, the other being M*A*S*H.

If you ever get the offer to bring the show back, but at reduced quality, don't take it. If Futurama is destined to be a brilliant, short-lived O type star, then so be it.

At the least: 'Tis better to have Futurama'd and lost, than never to have Futurama'd at all.
danielMay 15th 2003, 00:00
we knew there won't be any new futurama on fox for a long time, but i still don't understand what does it mean for the remaining episodes... will we ever see those?
DrDaveMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Fox will probably show the remaining episodes of
Futurama over the summer. They have plenty of time from June until November.
JonMay 15th 2003, 00:00
You see it coming a mile ahead, but when it's actually official... I nearly cried :(
FryfanMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Well we all tried our best! The online petition spoke loud and clearly to a deaf audience.

It's sad to see a company is so set on constantly appealing to the common denominator, but it always has to do with money and politics.

Thank God for CN. Atleast we can get our daily dose from them. Long Live Ted Turner!!!!

I'd actually enjoy seeing the boxing match between him and Murdoch.
ZoidbergMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Well we saw it coming over the horizon, getting ever closer as we sped towards it at 100,000km/h along a lonely desert road.

All we could of hoped for was to go out with a spectacular bang.

We reached the end....and nothing. No bang, no screams of YAHOOOO / WOOOO as we hit.

Well Futurama now belongs to the midst of time. It is the stuff of legends.

But we shall never forget. We can not....WILL NOT allow it to be forgotten.

Man.......now I'm depressed.
BrainSluggoMay 15th 2003, 00:00
FOX dropped off my channel list months ago--I have to go out of my way to tune in to "Futurama," or remind myself why I stopped watching "The Simpsons' Cavalcade of Arterial Wounds."

Why act like the abused girlfriend? Why keep going back if you're just going to be hurt again? Why let yourself fall in love with a show if it's going to be assassinated in favor of a floating turd like "Oliver Beene?"

I'm getting the DVDs, and never, ever watching FOX again--unless there's some sort of miraculous, massive sea-change there.

Join me, won't you?

FrymantvtomemadspeelMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Rest in peace FUTURAMA. ... an,MOM,her three sonns, and all the other characters that have appeard in Futurama. They were the best characters ever created and will allways be.

Thanks to Matt Groening, David X. Cohen, Katey Sagal, Billy West, John Dimaggio, Lauren Tom, Tress MacNeile, Phil Lamarr, Maurice LaMarche, and off course the rest of the staff that putt the show together. Here is some of them: Ken Keeler, J.Stewert Burns, Lewis Morton and so on.

This show is a part of Earth history now, and will be remembered for it`s fantastic 72 episodes and the staff that created the show.

I allso want to thank Cartoon Network, they did new how to treat a tv show well. They promoted for Futurama and have had huge ratings. And i am glad they will continue airing the show.

And i am looking forward to the 8 remaining episodes this sommer on FOX.
Let`s hope for a movie in a few years, and as allready said. People in europe can look forward to the 3ACV and 4ACV dvd set, an people in america can look forward for the 2ACV, 3ACV and the 4ACV.

We love you Futurama, FOX cant heart you anymore.

Rest in peace........................to be continued?:).
KazzahdraneMay 15th 2003, 00:00
If FOX think that cancelling Futurama will make them more money, they are royally boned!

Long Live Futurama, the Greatest Show on....any planet!

GumberculesMay 15th 2003, 00:00
To paraphrase a old Simpsons line: "What happened to you Fox...you used to be cool?" Course that was many, many moons ago.
I'd also like to thank each and every person involved with Futurama for giving us a great show and the only reason I watched Fox at all in the past 5 years.
Bender-1729May 15th 2003, 00:00
I just can hope, that the death of Futurama means the detah to the entire FOX Network company. >:-(
RedDecapodianMay 15th 2003, 00:00
This is truly a sad sad day in TV history.

Let's still hope there's a home for new episodes and the possibility of a team to make them at Cartoon Network.
Bender-1730May 15th 2003, 00:00
For any reasons: the TV-Channel FOX Network!! Not the people who work there!!!
scsiMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Here in Sweden, we haven't reached the last episode yet, so I hope that the current one will pass slow, becouse I relly don't Futurama to end. =(
GreggMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Fox and Cartoon Network - I hope you're listening (for different, obvious reasons).

To all the crew who put so much time and effort into the successor to the Simpson's that obviously could compete: Thanks for so many laughs and quality TV moments.

Lets hope the future has Futurama.

Thank you Futurama for the joy you put into my life. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks to all!
SilentGRestInPeaceFuturamMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Well, if only The Simpsons and That '70s Show was cancelled then I have no other reason to watch Fox. Fox can go back into the hole they dug out because they don't deserve The Simpsons to be on their network after this political bullshit they pull on us. Oliver Beene will be destoryed and I will laugh at Fox when that happens.

So long Futurama, may Futurama's spirit live forever....
TeralMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Well, I had a beautifull typed out message, until the script went bonky and ate it. So this time I'll only post the important part:

This was an awesome show, a testement to quality and high ambitions.

Thanks to: Matt Groening, David X Cohen, Rich Moore, Ken Keeler, Eric Horsted, J Stewart Burns, Patrick Verrone, Christopher Tyng, Bil Odenkirk, Gregg Vanzo and the rest of the staff at The Curiosity Company and Rough Draft Studios.

Special thank to Sarge Morton for being the cool guy he is.

Thanks to the talented voice actors: Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Lauren Tom, Phill Lamarr, Maurice LaMarche, Tress Macneille, David Herman, Frank Welker, the guest stars and all those who I forgot.

Thanks for an awesome show, after the end of DS9 I had my doubts of tv as netertainment, you all restored that.

Futurama (1999-2003), rest in peace.
JamesMay 15th 2003, 00:00
...(continued from #18) Now that Fox have officaly cancelled the show we have nothing to loose. Look on the bright side, the future for the show can only get better (unless of course Fox launches a campaign to burn every copy of every futurama episode and round up all the fans and torture us untill we shout out "I Hate Futurama!". but that probably wont happen). Hopefully soon somebody (CN) will buy the rights from Fox to make new episodes.
On a more cheerful note, In the new issues of Hotdog and DVD Monthly Futurama Season 3 got a 5***** review, and was choosen by DVD Monthly reviewer Gary Joyce as the must have DVD of the month.
Playstation magazine PSM2 also has a big article on the Futurama game, they've played it, they loved it calling it "the funniest game in history". They say that in terms of gameplay it doesn't quite live up to platformers like jak & daxter but it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than any other game based on a TV show. The graphics have also been improved considerably since the release of the trailer. Now they look great. The characters are smooth and look just right.
So cheer up. Futurama ain't dead yet!
LeahMay 15th 2003, 00:00
My heart sank when I clicked into gotfuturama, and I saw that the FUTURAMA CANCELED banner was replaced with FUTURAMA R.I.P. Yeah, we all knew it was coming, but it's just depressing once the truth became official. And all this to a show that doesn't deserve it, all done by a network which didn't deserve the show in the f
rst place because they had no respect for it. For shame.

That aside, I would also like to thank every last person who worked hard on Futurama to make it the great show that it was. Thanks to you, you caused me to waste countless hours of my life in front of the TV watching Futurama :).
LambiMay 15th 2003, 00:00
I'll keep this one short: Thanks to everyone at Curiosity Company for giving us this wonderful show. Best wishes to Matt Groening, David X. Cohen and all the other ones.

are you joking about that game show?????
ot_Shot_NMay 15th 2003, 00:00
As a person from Israel, who watched the episodes thanks to an affiliate of FOX called STAR TV, I feel sad and angry about this.
You know, even us, the people in Israel, could get a laugh from time to time - and Futurama was the ideal pain killer!

I'll miss it! Better reserve my name at amazon.com for all those DVDs...
nattMay 15th 2003, 00:00
Computer: If you want FOX to keep futurama on the air press 1, if you want futurama to be cancelled press 2.
(button #1 is pressed)
Computer: thank you for pressing 2.
Fry: no i didn't, i pressed 1
Computer: i'm pretty sure you didn't.

Sigh

Now one the greatest show of all time has been canceled. it's a sad day in history.

Here in Germany we enjoyed Futurama mostly by internet, because of the lausy syncro from Pro7

Thank you for everyone who made Futurama possibel, especially Matt and David. Hopefully CN will give the series the credit, that it deserves.

Bye bye Futurama, and thanks for all the great jokes and phrases:

Now Zoidberg(can be replaced by Cartoon Network) is the popular one

Not that it's unexpected or anything. Oh well, at least we'll be able to see 8 episodes in a relatively short time span(hopefully).

David X. and Sarge are the coolest!

Bender: " All you humans think Fox is just company build by humans to make their lifes easier"
Fry: "Isnt it ?"
Bender:" Fox never made anyones life easier and you know it"

Futurama:"Hurry up Fox I dont wanna die at age of 6"
Fox:" Honey unless we hit a time warp I wouldnt worry about that"

Too bad fox dont show up here so I cant actively to unwatch it. Well Futurama was made for smart and cool peoples, maybe that didnt suit on fox leaders.. Thank MAtt and David, and rest of the crew, just stop working on Fox in the future they dont deserve talented peoples like you all are. Well atleast we still have to old episodes and they rewatching value is high. And Fox mark my words, You will sink like Titanic, except all of you will drown on your own stupidy.

We've been foxed... Just a big bravo to everyone in the Futurama-scene, the creators and all the fans everywhere. We'll certainly miss this great show, and by god, I sure hope to see some more of it some day... in the Future. I don't have money right now, but someday I'm gonna buy those DVD's! I'll see you guys right here on the site, or somewhere online for sure.

Peace out y'all!

So much for hoping that the studio would fight the establishment, get together, and make more eps. *sigh*

And I was having a completely shitty day to begin with. :(

Fry, Bender, Leela, Amy, Zoidy, et al.--may you all dwell happily in Cartoon Heaven with the cast of The Family Guy, the ORIGINAL Voltron Force, the Gargoyles, and all the others we have loved and lost. ;_; *sniff*
HopieMay 15th 2003, 00:00
bad news about futurama but
BANZAI IS AN EXCELLENT SERIES very funny although not as good as futurama
MichaelMay 15th 2003, 00:00
What a lousy thing to happen. I hate you Fox, I really hate you - Gail Bearman - may you rot in hell. The fact is you're a braindead middle aged woman who considers shit like Banzai (which I've seen - I'm English) to be more entertaining than one of the most original and thoughtprovoking shows of my generation. You stupid, stupid, stupid woman. PLEASE MATT & DAVE, FIND SOME WAY TO KEEP THE SHOW ALIVE. Oh yeah, and Gail Bitchman dead.
VengefulKiwiMay 15th 2003, 00:00
This is the third time futurama has made me cry...
The first time was "Leela's Homeworld," the second was "Jurassic Bark," and this, the third, is its passing.
"So watch it on Cartoon Network" my friends tell me. Oh, I will. And I do. But that's not the point and all of you reading this know it as well.
The point is not that fox cancelled one of it's many shows. The point is that they cancelled an intelligent show, with an amazing staff and a brilliant cast; despite that thousands of dedicated people fought for it.
That's not right. When you fight for something, you're supposed to make a difference...
And people wonder why I perfer my own little world above this one... This world is broken.
WendellMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Damn that pissed me off well i bought the season 1 DVD so i am happy for the time being.I wish that the fox execs would get sucked into a black hole.I doubt that would happen so i think the killbots should programmed to kill fox execs.FOX CAN BITE MY SHINY METAL ASS!!!!
ZoidbergRulesMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Well, I'll miss Futurama a lot. I feel the same way I felt when Family Guy was canceled. I hope they air all the episodes that are left or put them on the DVD when it comes out.
AppleIIgsMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Rather disappointing it's come to this (even depressing when the very final episode airs and we realize, "That's it, the end." Never again will we see another new Futurama story). Still, I rather it end than see it drag on in limbo, disgracefully, yet another season). I just hope we get to see those 8 remaining episodes...

I rather liked Futurama, it sort of filled that void left behind when The Simpsons changed into something completely different from what it started as (from pure genius, to well, excuse me: pure crap). Watching Futurama was like having a sweet desert to look forward to after a very bland, even bitter meal (The Simpsons). I think it's time I finally give up on The Simpsons after 14 years...

I'll miss Futurama.
RobotFolkSingerMay 16th 2003, 00:00
This is disgusting.

A) Do "Oliver Beene" and "Banzai" have the dedicated following of Futurama?
Even if for the money, the Futuama fans gobble up merch like it is their job. What other fans would buy anything even similar to Slurm cans?

B) There must be a way to get around this and get it funded somewhere else. Is the grassroots organization large enough to raise money for it? Just from hearing all the posts here makes me think that through the fans and friends this can be overcome. Honestly, how can we let this stand? I don't want to sit idly by while this happens.

please email me or post with plans for the resurrection. seriously.....

I keep telling you people. Use your amazing power of sorrow and money and boycott these weasels. Hurt them like they hurt you in the only place they care about, their money-bags. It's obvious that whoever is running FOX has their head so far up their ass that they'll never see the light no matter how bright it shines.

Hey! Ted Turner is rich! Someone with connections tell him how great and powerful and wonderful he is, and maybe he'll do something gracious for America..., Throw in Bill Gates and tell them that we'll buy their stuff if they buy ours... Beg politely. Stranger things have happened. Fox became a network even though it is run by insane farm-animals.

"No creature would willingly make an idiot out of itself!"
"Obviously you've never been an executive at Fox!"

Well, the plus side is that I now have _no_ reason to watch Fox anymore. It looks like i'm down to Law & Order and Adult Swim for my tv viewing.

ChrysMay 16th 2003, 00:00
I figured the dice would fall this way... it's sad all the same. Obviously Fox can't forgive Matt for not selling the whole of the show to them, thus depriving them of the possibility to ride it to death like they do with the Simpsons. But it might prove that not everything is lost - Futurama might resurrect on another network, maybe... let's hope like hell it does.
knackersMay 16th 2003, 00:00
and let's not forget a big THANK YOU to everyone at gotfuturama.com for their enthusiasm and determination over the last years. There aren't many sites I'll check every day but this is one of them.
CarbitoMay 16th 2003, 00:00
That really sucks. How can Fox possible have been ignoreing all this good things happening to Futurama. Oh well, at least now I know so I don't have to live in false hope. It's sad that all those Futurama characters we have gotten to know so well will never be seen again in a new episode. As for the people at Fox who cancelled it...I hope you all die a slow and painful death.
Oh, and thanks to all the staff at CGEF for all you have done to try and save this show.
WaltMay 16th 2003, 00:00
no!!!
i hope that in other network this will be the best show! and win another emmy!
and fox will cry for futurama to return
FangsBangsMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Well...Fox is obviously crazy.

I've also seen this Banzai crap and I can promise you this : There is nothing more braindead than that program. So it fits really;
braindead people (Fox) wants braindead programs.

I will be amazed if no other channel wants to pick Futurama up, though. The potential for foreign sales (europe especially) is huge.

As I once said :<amazed> "Dang...this show is BETTER than the simpsons, man...!"

Thanks for listening!
DDDMay 16th 2003, 00:00
I just want to say that Futurama is by far my favorite TV show ever. It had humor and heart. Futurama really made ya want watch TV again.

I've seen the crap that is out there now, all the stupid spin-offs of American Idol. It makes me sick that these (cheap to make) crap shows will live on, and a gem like Futurama will fall by the wayside.

As for the Simpsons, I loved that show and its humor, but it is getting dated. Therez only so many things you can do in a small town like Springfield.

I just don't get the logic of the executives. When a show like Futurama is cancelled while it is excelling at everything, getting awards left and right, DVD sales that are very high, and getting tons of international response. Whatzup wit dat?

Anyway, I just want to thank Matt, Dave and all of the cast and crew that made my sides split from laughter. Your hard work will always be appreciated. (I pray to God for someone to pick up the show, and look forward to the MOVIE)

Welp as Santa said on Xmas: "You've all been very naughty" , Fox Execs, "except Dr. Zoidberg"

Or as Bender would say, "Bite my shiny metal ass"

Long live Fry and Leela (Yeah! End of The Why of Fry)

JuutjeMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Oh, how I hate FOX!
I'm from the Netherlands and am furious at FOX right now! They started the show in our country about 3 years ago and I totally loved it. Then it was cancelled.
I started downloading them from Grokster, Kazaa, I have every single episode on my pc. I'm going to buy their DVD's so that I can watch them over and over again.

I hope FOX will sell Futurama, or Matt has to, so that Futurama will recieve the attention that it deserves.

Futurama is the best cartoon ever to be shown on television!

RIP FUTURAMA
WernerMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Well, what if we scrape our pennies together and buy the rights to... aw, nuts. I hope that there's still a decent network out there in America that recognizes the huge intrinsic value of the show and picks it up as soon as possible, preferrably recuperating as much of the original staff as possible.
ScottMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Its a shame that one of the best Cartoons in History will be replaced by Banzai!

Im ashamed to be british at the moment! that show is truly terible, and why they are replacing Futurama with that is beyond me.

Sigh, still ill look foward to the DVD sets, and hopefully after Banzai has been on TV for a few weeks and no one watches it! (it REALLY is that bad) FOX will be desperate to bring back Futurama.

But for the time being R.I.P Futurama. :(

A bit of good news within the bleakness. This was a snip-it from a review for the game on the X-Box from E3.

"To be completely honest, I'm shocked with how well this game is turning out. While I had serious reservations about the title initially, those doubts have all but disappeared. Futurama captures the essence of its source material absolutely perfectly, and that's kind of the point of licensed games. Of course, it doesn't hurt that it plays pretty good too." -- Justin Thompson

At least we have a little something to look forward to...

It is a sad thing. Why in the world, would they start season 5 if there not gonna finish it?
I say they don't care about there viewers. They have fucked us over and over... I have grown a great dislike for them, but thats not gonna change anything :( its gonna be a sad summer
BJHMay 16th 2003, 00:00

Fry: did you see it? did you see it?

Leela: what?

Fry: oh nothing. [ bender whistles in the background ]

-TIME KEEPS ON SLIPPING

such is the case with futurama........
mikeyMay 16th 2003, 00:00
sorry every1 hoo lives in america but im ok because i can watch the rest of season 5 on sky 1 in the uk and will they ever bring out season 4 and 5 on box set???
CyberKnightMay 16th 2003, 00:00
More than likely the 4ACV eps will make it to DVD. The sets have been a huge commercial success for FOX, and FOX HE seem to be unafflicted with the disease of stupidity currently raging in their division counterparts.

And also, The rest of 4ACV will probably still air in the US in the summer. The eps certainly won't air here in the UK until that happens, unless FOX really strings it out.

If Guenter really *had* been president of the FOX network, he would have had the sense to leave this fantastic show on the air, and given it a fair chance in the first place, even with a squashed hat.

Or maybe Guenter *is* the president of FOX and lost his hat? That would account for the networks current idiocy in cutting superb shows - this caps off the whole charade.

And if production Season 4 doesn't make it to DVD there is no justice in this world (as has already been proved to me today).

I just want to say thank you to the production team and voice over actors, particularly anyone who did the DVD commentaries, because you've actually helped me decide on a career (a subject of much speculation) and I'm seriously considering television production for the first time, and if I can break into the business, I will become a comedy writer. And believe me, there will be more than passing references to Futurama in my scripts if I'm successful.
And should I ever win *anything* you guys are top of the 'thanks to...' list.

BENDER: If I don't come back, just say i died robbing some old man.
FRY: I'll tell them you went out prying the wedding ring off his cold dead finger.
BENDER: I love you buddy!

Thanks for so much entertainment - it won't be the same without you folks.

After the season finale of The Simpsons, I'm going to boycott FOX. And by boycott, I mean not watch the channel....and scratching myself while not watching the channel. Yeah...that's the ticket.

*watches The Luck of the Fryish*
KMay 16th 2003, 00:00
should mail CN and convince them to buy the rights.. THEY'D be smart enough not to kill the show. It's getting them great ratings on adult swing with family guy.
no point in me boycotting fox, only thing i watched on it was simpsons and futurama Xx;

this isn't over yet.
MPMay 16th 2003, 00:00
I think it's great. Not Futurama being cancelled of course, but Fox finally dumping it. It paves the way for Cartoon Network to air them all and to get the rest of the box sets out. (I just finished S1 in five days). Looking forward to the game, the last new episodes, the DVDs of the old ones and hopefully the movie.
TailsMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Does anyone know where to sign the petition, or is that over now?

Oh yeah, up yours Fox!
RogoMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Most Important thing WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE EPS? they just gonna burn 'em or what?
tastycratMay 16th 2003, 00:00
"Bender always wanted to drift forever... but through the American Southwest."

I tuned out Fox ages ago. I don't even watch KotH or The Simpsons anymore.

Two things:

- Has Fox considered how the viewership from KotH -and The Simpsons will decrease without Futurama viewers?

- There is always the chance that the Simpsons could improve by bringing back/on some of the Futurama writers.

Otherwise, I'm with others who have said "Good Riddance to FOX." Futurama has found a great niche on CN, and I love knowing exactly when it will be on and THAT it will be on rather than pre-empted by a late-season Lions/Bengals snore-fest.

"So long, losers I've never liked!"

I haven't read through all of the comments so I don't know if mArc has been properly thanked.

It is abundantly clear that lately, he has been the mastermind of this website and kudos to him! Gotfuturama.com has been my homepage at work since futuramaoutlet.com went 'off the web'. I think I may have been on this site more minutes per day than my online bank. This will continue, I will keep the faith, so to speak, and stay here for Futurama news because of the obviously stellar sources mArc has employed. I will follow the links and order merchandise (that I like), and I will do anything I can to help... A Futurama fan is a friend to me (except BrainSluggo).

Thanks mArc.

herotoallwholovefuturamaMay 16th 2003, 00:00
what we need is to organize a protest and boycott of anything fox and maybe after several million world wide futurama fans stop buying products that support fox maybe then we can bring back the greatest, and most intelligent show on tv
ThaBisnitMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Ask not for whom the bone bones; it bones for thee.

Farewell, PX.

In defense of Banzai, it was not created as a Futurama replacement. It has nothing to do with this decision. It's brilliant in its own right.

Still, doesn't make the Futurama shaped hole any easier to swaller. And if that isn't a mixed metaphor, then I don't know eggs is eggs.
MoonwhalerMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Thanks for one hell of a great ride to everyone at Futurama! I think the best thing all of us can do now is thank the Cartoon Network for keeping it on the air.

That and take Fux off your channel list. Trust me, all it does is put you one click closer to something worth watching.
PablitoDuronMay 16th 2003, 00:00
When I first saw futurama, I fell in love with it! after only knowing it for 3 years fox pulled the plug on the absolute best sieries of all time. and what did they replace it with....A Stupid GAME SHOW!!! I want bender, fry, and leela back now!!
RobotElderMay 16th 2003, 00:00
SILENCE! (?)............
alittlegirlMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Some of us don't have Cartoon Network, you know. But I'm glad that CN is keeping Futurama alive while FOX betrays Matt Groening. Stupid sons of bitches they are!!!!!!
StewieGriffenMay 16th 2003, 00:00
No more Futurama? No more room for our little "rascal"? Well, Berman you are on my death list! When I take over the world, your life shall not be spared. As for that bloody Oliver Beene, to hell with him! He will also not be spared! Damn you Fox for cancelling Futurama and me! I shall stay over with Cartoon Network where at least they give a shit about me. Victory will be mine!
StewieGriffinMay 16th 2003, 00:00
Blast this damn computer! It should be Stewie Griffin! Cartman, Bender, and I shall join forces and kick the Fox network's ass! Little "rascal", give me a break!
