I'd like to add, if any show was gonna replace Futurama on Sunday, at least it was a good one. Home Movies is a very funny show. Sad they didn't just show it at 11:30 instead of bumping off Futurama though.

It's all good, as long as Cartoon Network still gives us our Futurama Fix. Life is good.

This is probably a good decision, that will prevent Futurama suffering from over exposure (oh god the irony!). And yes you're right #1 Home Movies is a very funny show.

"Home Movies" is a funny show? Perhaps on the Bizarro world, but not here on Earth. The animation is terrible and the writing is third-rate.

Heh, James is right. Futurama had to hope to get airtime during the Fox years. Now it's being played so often on TV that it's being burnt out. Careful what you wish for...

I've never really seen Home Movies. It seems witty enough, but I'm still getting past the crude animation.

The Simpsons are on three times a day in syndication where I live. But they have 300 episodes now to draw on.

I don't really care if Home Movies is on Sundays. I mean Futurama is just on four nights now, just as long as they keep it on the air. By the way does anyone know when Adult Swimwill air new episodes?

Actually where i live, the WB station which is owned by Fox 54 airs only The Simpsons shows from 1997-last season. Sadly, any Simpsons made before 1997 does not get to aired mainly due to syndication costs or was played enough back then, I assume. The best Simpsons are the ones that was made before 1997 when the show was fresh and the storylines made some sense.

I will never see the point of Home Movies but at least it isn't some children Japenese cartoons they show in the afternoons. Maybe someday the newer Futuramas will be show on Adult Swim and I can enjoy them because I forgot what they were about due to Berman and friends being assholes about airing Futurama.

I like Home Movies, but not as a replacement to Futurama and as a set-up to Family Guy. I'd reconfigure the Sunday night lineup to remove both Futurama and Family Guy, and go with Home Movies and some of the other stuff they've been doing. Hawkman is pretty hilarious -- saw a great spoof of the Sopranos via the Flintstones. Aqua Teen Hunger Force has some great moments too. I too can't believe I am saying this, but soon less will be more in the world of Futurama, at least until they get some other episodes to add into the mix.

I think Adult Swim needs to get some new Futurama eps in.I hope CN picks up where Fox left us hang'n.That would be cool one can only hope though.Home Movies used to be on after Futurama but Family Guy replaced it.CN should take off all of those crap shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Lupin The 3rd.

#11 - They're not going to take off one of their original series. Especially when it has new episodes and is only on once a week. For now watch the final episodes on FOX Sundays.

As for Lupin the 3rd, go to the rec.arts.anime.misc newsgroup and say that. >:)

once CN gets the rest of the episodes, I'd like to see them run 2 episodes back-to-back on Sunday nights, 11-12, then no more episodes that week. That gives you 36 weeks before you repeat an episode. They've built the Futurama profile to build the network. Now it's time to ease up on Futurama before it gets run into the ground.
