Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

Final TV Ratings

Now the final ratings are in (last time was overnight ratings).
This time, I will compare the different shows on FOX (household rating/share):
  • Futurama 4.7 / 8
  • King of the Hill 5.3 / 8
  • The Simpsons 8.7 / 13
  • Malcolm in the Middle 8.6 / 12
  • The X-Files 6.0 / 8
What does this tell us? While having the same market share as X-Files and KotH, Futurama was seen by quite some less people than those shows. Reason: Many people eat or do other things at 7 in winters. There, done ranting.

Oh, and FrysGIRL send me a pic of what that naughty girl does during class. Thanks!

The problem is, those kapitalistic meanies pay curiosity comp's bills. I was more complaining over the the fact that Futurama doesn't get the chance to find more fans with the standards it has set by now. No way I want Futurama to bow down and grab for the general public by changing its ways.

well, if we start to take note of ratings then we might as well start listening to N-Sync and enjoy bad hollywood teen-movies. I look at myself as an sworn enemy of the lowest-common-denominator-marketing-kapitalistic-nightmare-era we are currently going through.

6.0/8? Wow, the X-files is sucking. Hopefully the two X-mas episodes will do way better than that, causing fox to cancel the X-files and show an hour of Futurama every week.
