Break for Futurama on CN in July

For the time being, Thursday the 24th of July will be the last airing of Futurama on Cartoon Network. The 11PM slot will be taken over by Home Movies then. Don't worry though, Futurama will return and the remaining episodes will air on Cartoon Network at some point, too. With 56 episode in their repertoire currently (72 minus the 16 McSeason 5 ones), they couldn't keep showing them over and over.

What futurama is the best show they have it's stupid i mean no telling how many people watch it.

It makes sense that CN would lay off of Futurama for a while to avoid burnout of the show. I have no problem with that as long as Family Guy is still on and when Futurama does return to CN that they show the rest of Season 4/5 first and then start the cycle all over again.

Not all Japenese anime is bad, just the dumb stuff that my annoying little sister watches all the time. I guess that is why I dislike Pokemon or Hamtaro.

Ok, I know I said that taking Futurama off from Sunday nights was a good idea to avoid overkill, but I think that it shouldn't come off completly even if it is only for a while. They should have maybe just one episode a week. Showing none a week could lower the ratings when it returns, as more casual viewers may forget about the show.

On a completly unrelated note, I just saw The Matrix Reloaded, HOLY SHIT!!!! It was incredible!!!! Even more mindblowing than the first one!!!

While I too will miss my nightly fix of Futurama, I can understand CN taking some time off. I'm not that worried about casual viewers forgetting about it because, if past experience with CN is any indication, they will probably have a big promotion before it returns. Remember, CN is not run by the brain slugs over at Fox. They actually promote the shows!

Now that Fox has shown their hand, I hope that CN or another network considers picking it up and making new episodes.

Kid: Yes, I quite agree. Futerama does indeed suck. It is, however, not to be confused with Futurama (note spelling), which is a kickass masterpiece.
