Do you think Fox on the east coast will still 'override' these episodes? I wonder if the running and jumping beasts will make another apperance in the 7:00 pm time slot? I'm just glad we have been under rain clouds since March and will continue to be or I'd miss these episodes.

Is there any chance that fox may bring back futurama if these few episodes do good.Im a big fan and fox is stupid to let such a good and creative show pass them by. And if they do they should sell it to another network.

its 2AM on the east coast and i just saw a commercial for the fox summer sunday line-up. Not only did they go out of their way to actually say "Futurama at 7:00" but they actually showed a 2 second clip!!! its obviously waay too late to advertise for the show but it would be nice if we could ban together and slap some results in their face (if these episode rate better). On the "Three Hundred Big Boys" episode, I think it would be great if the Arachnid homeworld is called "Klendathu" ...

I think "Three Hundred Big Boys" may hold the ultimate clue behind FOX's treatment of "Futurama."

(1) Bear in mind, FOX is the home of Bill O'Reilly and assorted propagandists and cheerleaders for the current White House administration.
(2) "Three Hundred Big Boys" is the story of an incredibly evil Republican president--one who wages needless, bloody wars on the basis of lies (both in the past and in the future, as seen in "War Is The H Word" and probably this episode)--who causes chaos with an ill-advised, self-serving $300 tax "refund."
(3) Zapp Brannigan destroys a certain "homeworld" in this episode. Say the first two syllables of "arachnid" out loud.

"Futurama." It's not just funny--it's prophecy. Was it too 'dangerous' to keep in production?

Comment #15 has very good points, also to Juno (#3) but you both have to bear in mind that these episodes were created probably about a year ago, animation is a long process, and each episode inlcudes conception ... /producing which, like the simpsons take about 6-8 minths per episode ...so these were written and made way before any war, and before they knew they were going to be cancelled for good. The fact that these episodes are showing now is Fox's fault.

Maybe it is time for this show to go... I love it to death, but it kills me a little bit more every time it gets pre-empted. This must be what hell is like.

Well now that it's cancelled FOX seems to be promoting FUTURAMA more and more. If only they did this earlier this season, maybe more people would've realised it was on. The first promo was on last night for FOX Sunday and included a "bit" on FUTURAMA and just tonight during COPS end credits a voice over promo "told" us to watch a new FUTURAMA tomorrow.

Then I again I realise these will be the last new FUTURAMA's to air and I feel like a victim of a suicide booth gone awry.

cherish these most likely final episodes i love this part in family guy where these tv executives are sitting during a meeting talking about tv shows and one of them goes we need something fresh and original and the head guy takes a picture off the wall and constantly smashes it over that guys head until he hits the floor dead than contiunes to kick and hit him with it, that i think was a take at fox
