As the US Futurama Season 2 DVD is going to be released in just a few days (Tuesday), it's time to read through my slightly updated review from November last year, preorder it and give it your own review once you got it. Maybe some of the Europeans and Australians who already got it want to weigh in, too.

My local Wal-Mart broke the street date and mistakenly had them on their shelf last week!! I've already finished watching the eps, now I want to go back and watch 'em again with the commentaries on.

I couldn't wait and bought the Region 2 release a few months back. Does anyone know if there are any major differences between the two regions?

The mojority of the difference are just in the language tracks and subtitles. very little difference between any reigon as far as content.

Can anyone confirm - I heard that the R1 DVD included a preview of the video game. Is it just a commercial, a playable demo or do I have no idea what I'm talking about?

I just finished watching both series two and series 3 (from UK) and I'm totally miserable. Now I have to wait until November to get the last episodes. And fat chance of it being shown on Australian free to air. If it is it'll be late at night intermittantly aired. I think I liked Series three better than two, for Roswell and it's commentaries.

ive got season 1,2 and 3 on region 2 as we in the uk are blessed. they all are great especially anything with bender in. does anyone know if the show is cancelled or is it moving networks.

#1: There is nothing official about a US season 3 release yet. Expect 4 to 7 months of waiting.

#4: Canada got the same region code. I don't know about your local stores, but it should be available one way or the other.

All this DVD talk is cool. I picked up Futurama Season 2 back in May (along with X-Files 6), and I recently found out Season 3 comes out here in Australia on September 24th (along with X-Files 7). What annoys me is that it's two days after my birthday! That's why I'm going the birthday money way this year.
