Big Bender on ebay

Currently on ebay.com is a 6 foot tall life size talking statue of our lovable rascal Bender. This statue was made to go along side an official Futurama Slot Machine, but because the show got cancelled, so did the line of Futurama gambling goods. At the moment, the auction is past 3k in price, but if you want the Bender Slot-Machine it will cost you an extra 2k. I obviously can't afford this, but if anyone thinks they love me enough, wanna buy this for me?

tis funny cos only a few months ago I thought about making a life size bender but I didn't know where to start.

Oh well theres always a zoidberg costume and the tattoo of my initials in alienese.

by the way the way you do a zoidberg costume is first you need to be the right build(Ie slightly chubby)

then you need some scrubs, a custom doctors coat, a latex forehead to cover your eyebrows, fibreglass and latex claws, latex mouth flaps and feet... shaved head, a crapload of orange makeup and some white contact lenses with the pupils exposed

dont forget some thongs/flipflops/sandals.

I'll get around to it some day :)

Dangs--why shave the head? Just go for a full-head mask (and body padding).

I wonder if one can get frosted or mirrored lenses in the right size to make the eyes...

Had I enough time to make a Zoidberg getup, I'd rig the left claw with a squeeze-bulb connected to the mouth flaps to make them move and even splay, as when he screams. That would make a few people jump! :) Of course, one would have to let their fingers come through one of the claws so they could get by a little better than Zoidy himself does...

I just want to say if i had a quarter for every second i laughed during "The Deep South", "The Why of Fry", and "The Cyber House Rules" i could buy that bender and turkina if everyone pitched in 10-30 dollars who would get the bender

I WANT THAT BENDER!!! pweeze mommy, pweeeeeeeze? I'll feed it and walk it and play with it and... Too bad I'm flat broke! The closest I ever got to a life-sized Bender costume was making a hat out of tinfoil with a silver antenna on top. Maybe I'll make a visor with eyes, and a getup... hmmm... maybe I'll make a crappy Bender costume out of tinfoil or something! :) "I'm Bender, baby! Please insert liquor!"
