Max's "demotivational" posters are supersweet. I'd print 'em and take 'em to work, if I thought my bluecollar redneck co-workers would understand them...

I have Poser, but little time--or experience--for decent modeling. Jon Dixon would do all Futurama-Lama-Ding-Dongs an irrepayable service if he released his models on a Poser forum...oh hell, even if he sold 'em. I'd buy 'em all, even if the thought of a photorealistic Farnsworth makes my lunch leap up my throat...

(Non-photorealistic characters that resemble the animation--or the game--would be kickass too. Anybody?)

The posters are great! I feel de-motivated already! :)

Wow pretty cool picture of leela and Fry. But I prefer them in Matt groening style :P but this is great this gives us a chance to find out how they should like as real humans.

the 3-D picture is good artwork but not very accurate to the cartoon. Leela's eye is way too small and her boobs are pointy (is she wearing a madonna bra under there?) And Fry's hair looks good but his face is all wrong. still good quality work though.

Well, one must be reasonable, yes? Doing the Season One Leela "photorealistically" is impossible, with her huge, "wraparound" eye--even more impossible than the normal Groening eyeball. And doing a cyclops is difficult in the first place; merging the bridge of the nose with the eyesocket is a real b***h. How do you work out the lower eyelid? The corners? The brow? The anatomy under the skin is unimaginable.

I think the translation of Fry is pretty excellent. His jacket shoulder's seam is way off, but the rest of him is spankin'.

Amazing stuff. I'd like to know how you did it?
It looks a bit strange, but it almost makes you wnt a live action film??!
There's alien code at the side...

That image is great! What program did you use, and are you willing to post the model file online? If I could get the source and change the pose and put leela against a grey background and render that, it would make an awesome messageboard avatar!
