Futurama Comics #15 out now

Futurama Comics 15Futurama comics #15 is now available at most comic shops, but for some reason I can't find any online retailers carrying it. You might need to leave your basement to get it. Head on over to the reviews section in case you already have it and want to give it a nice detailed review.

Damn all you Futurama fans! just kidding, but every time the new comic is released, by the time I get to the comic store its already sold out! Who is the person who buys it on the first day every release in Oceanside, CA? I know that person must go to this site! I went to three comic stores today and all of them had already sold out. Last release I went and sat outside the store before it opened the day it was released so I was sure to get it. I guess thats what its going to have to come to to be the first reviewer, and not have to wait an extra week to read my favorite comic. Well at least its popular, which means they won't stop making it any time soon!

on the inside of #15, on the first page with all that publishing info, it says that it's published quarterly... confusing! i've been hearing that it would become a monthly thing, or bimonthly, which is what i think it was in the first place, i don't know. i suppose it would be wise to check the back issues, but i'm lazy. anyway, i was really hoping they would release them more often, but i guess we're lucky that we even get a futurama comic in the first place.

Hope this link works.

Why do you just show the covers of the first three issues and not the cover of issue 15? Not the the covers of the first three issue are bad, I just think you should so the cover of issue 15 because I love the artwork.

Basically ... because I don't have the comic yet (I live in Germany) and Jon didn't manage to buy it yet.

How dose a person become a registered comment poster? I think it would be a nice way of making sure nobody posts a comment or review in my name.

Not at all at the moment. We kinda like the openess of the system. Maybe at a later point.

If there's gonna be a long gap till the next comic, they could at least release a 'Futurama-O-Rama II' to fill in the gap. Tis the season as well...

When will the next issue be released in four months?
[-mArc-]Oct 11th 2003, 19:45
It says quarterly, so in 3 months if that's right ... Maybe we'll know and tell you before then.

PS: Cover scan is up now on the review page.

Funtastic issue! Love all those Hollywood references.

Hilarious how Bender kept complaining about being Calculon's buffer, and when the gig is over tells Calky, "I love you." :D

Review it in the reviews, not in the comments ;) Reviews are to stay, comments go down over time.

Anyone else notice that in the inside front page it now says it's only published 4 TIMES A YEAR? : (

I was just at the comic book store trying to get the latest Futurama comic thats been sold out everywhere, and the comic store guy said something interesting. First he said it wont be released until next week, and I was like umm no it came out last week. He was like "oh that one, well theres a special issue being released next week". I was like what the hell? The only special I know that will be released is going to be the 4 parter, and I haven't heard anything about that yet. He's probably just full of crap, but I just wanted to share this incase he isn't.

Never ever trust comic book store guys on information. They thrive off telling stories to kids, but they rarely have the contacts to get the information needed for that. They just want to look knowledgable. In your case, wanted to cover up a misstatement he made.
