Can't get enough Futurama

S4 DVD Menu Shots Surfaced

The British site dvdtimes published a rather extensive collection of menu shots for the upcoming November 24th release of the UK Futurama Season 4 DVD disc set. They look quite diverse and they are meant to be pretty "active", too. Have a look at the screens and if you are in command of a region 2 (Europe) DVD player, get that preordering done already

Looks cool! Can't wait till the discs come in in R1 (in Fall 2004, I'm assuming).

Is there a standard CGEF-Amazon link that we could have, instead of just links to specific products? I want to buy all my stuff from Amazon and help CGEF :)

It works when you click any of the links and then navigate around. There are links to the main pages of the different amazons when you click the "support" thing all the way down on the left menu below the buttons.

Well, if you live in the US and have a region-free DVD player like I do, you can share in the fun :)

Sweet Zombie Jesus those look good!

Hey akakak(repeat) - when my brother and I were kids, on Christmas we always tried to trick the other into opening his last present first, thus allowing the "winner" to make Christmas last just a little longer.

Yeah - it will August 2004 or so before I get S4, but at least I will have that to look forward to over the next several months. And, if I get too sad when the first PEEL reviews come in, I'll just have to try and ease my mood with the other 378 DVD releases that R1 will get first.

Hey - I'll be getting "Finding Nemo" in a week for not much more than it costs to go see the film in a R2 theater right now! Cool!

To me, there's no point in getting a region-free DVD player and spending $15 extra for the postage alone. I want to be able to play my DVD's everywhere....in my computer, my standalone DVD player connected to the TV, in other people's DVD players, etc.

So.. I haven't been supporting CGEF by not using their link to Amazon?! I deserve to die! ;)

I understand what you are saying. If it was only a matter of a few months, I probably wouldn't have bothered to order the R2 set. But, it looks Season 4 won't be out for another year and that is too long for me to wait. FYI, I only paid around $50 when I preordered Season 4.

My DVD player is so small and portable that I can easily take it to a friend's house for a Futurama marathon :)

To each their own I guess!

are u bought and payed by amazon.com since u allways link to them

We get a few percent of what people buy using our links which helps us pay the bills (as written down on the support page). We don't push it for that though. We want people to buy the DVDs and get Futurama a good sales rating and in this case the offer from amazon is really good, too.

Does anyone know if this release will continue the trend of UK/european Futurama DVD sets working in R4 (Australia)? I have gambled with every season (1->3) so far and they have all worked, plus they are actually cheaper to buy from the UK.

Furthermore, is the same true of The Simpsons box sets in the UK? Any Aussies know?

Does anyone know if the DVD sets of season 3 and season 4 from the UK...are going to be the same ones (covers, cases, box) they are releasing in the US ? And also if they have those cool "SLIM" DVD CASES?
