Mine's on its way soon--I also bought the Marx Brothers Collection Box and combined the two orders. Aside from eBay, it's the only way to have the Marx' first four movies on DVD; meanwhile, back here I can go pick up a copy of any "Friday The 13th" slashercrap sequel in any format. Hiya just got my dvd this morning, cant wait till i finish work to watch all the episodes in glorious dvd (i should of taken the day off really). The box is well presented like the others and the glow in the dark x-ray images are a nice touch. I got my set today, from HMV, and got a discount with my student discount card too. It's awesome to the max! Thee really outdid themslves with the packaging and animated menus. And the eps have top quality sound and picture too :D

All this does is encourage people to hate R1 or the whole region system itself even more. Fox just loves screwing with us and shove crappy, undeserving shows down our thoarts. I miss Futurama more than ever, especially since all we got left is King of the Hill and The Simpsons. Maybe someday we R1s will have the entire collection of Futurama on dvd before the next decade gets here.

Just wanted to add my general adoration of my shiny new boxset to the drool-fest.

I liked the glow-in-the-dark box, very nice! My dearly beloved had to point it out to me, tho - I was too busy watching the episodes until my eyes bled to notice the luminous yellow "GLOW IN THE DARK BOX!" sticker. Duh!

The Why of Fry is still my favourite episode. Possibly ever. And this time I managed not to dry at the end of Jurassic Bark. But it was a close thing. Plus, I was up til 1 in the morning watching every episode, every delected scene, and decoding the Easter Egg.

I am comfortable with my fate as a Nerdlinger. :)

Um, I meant cry. I managed not to CRY at the end of Jurassic Bark. Hey, I'm sleep deprived and my eyes are sore from all that bleeding. :p

Plus, I so enjoyed seeing Glorious Golden Bender again. Just thought I'd add that. :D

I don't think a date has been set for the Season 3-Region 1 release. Most estimates put it some where in the 1st quarter of 2004. That is why I went ahead and bought the Region 2 set. Of course, I'll pick up the Region 1 set when it comes out for the cool new menus.

On the Amazon-site it says:

Does this mean 10 dvd's have been sold, or is it the number 10 bestseller?

If it's the first, then I'm one of those 10. If it's the latter, then I'm co-responsible for it :-)

i got it today only watched the first disk so far, you know everything you usally get is there...the great episodes, the comitres, deleted sence, so on!

screen intros are pretty cool, that all i can say you usally know what you're getting with one of these babys so why go on!

Futurama - season 4 - DVD - ok, looks good, even if I did have to endure the rain outside the delivery centre (it got closed about 10 minutes before I got there, allegedly a parcel bomb was found) And it's a glow in the dark box! Woo hoo, what an idea!

Any news on an Australian release date anyone?

We seem to get Futurama close behind the Brits; but I've not heard anything, and after the mess with Season 3 it may have been put back till after Xmas. And the local station suddenly stopped showing it with about 10 episodes not yet screened.

Hey Anyone Else Noticed The Futurama - Season 4 Boxset Is Glow In The Dark If You Take The Plastic Cover Off, i.e. the black box with the mechanics of fry, leela and bender on it. Also the logo on the top is glow in the dark

Karl, it's pretty obvious the box is glow in the dark, it says on the sticker: "IN EXCLUSIVE 'GLOW IN THE DARK' PACKAGING!"

BTW, I find the soundbytes on disc 4 with Bender and Zoidberg the funniest!

Yeah, it says so on the sticker which is stuck onto the plastic sleeve. Quite freaky when you see it in the dark, but awesome :D
