Can't get enough Futurama
In Color

It seems we missed a lot...

As you see CGEF has silently gone back in active mode, I am in the middle of my exams and I'll try keeping the updated, if you have any news don't hesitate to send it to me. Also expect a late x-mas DVD contest!

Now for very very old news: Futurama was nominated for 'funniest Animated Series category' for the commies, or maybe not. The entire category disappeared into thin air a while after, the fact that Adam Sandler won an award means that it's no big loss

If you want to see your favorite Futurama episode on Sunday, Dec. 29 on Adult Swim? Then vote for it at Best Of Adult Swim. I voted luck of the fryrish, baby!

Huzzah, you're back! But.. "Then vote for it at ."? URL missing? :)
JitterroDec 23rd 2003, 18:11
Time Keeps On Slippin'!
...It was a pretty tough choice between that and Luck of the Fryish.
fryfanDec 23rd 2003, 21:07
I vote Space Pilot 3000. It was the first episode ever. It got me hooked from the start. No other show has ever done that. The simpsons took a few a episodes for me to hooked, but Futurama is the only show to get me hooked from just the very first episode. VOTE FOR SPACE PILOT 3000
fryfanDec 23rd 2003, 23:51
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE THEY DON'T HAVE SPACE PILOT 3000. Oh well, at least other episodes from my ten top favorites made the list. I chose "Where No Fan has Gone Before." It was tought between that and Roswell that ends Well. I like Luck of the Fryish it brings a tear to my eye, but when it comes to voting for episodes, I vote for episodes that make me laugh not cry.
someoneDec 24th 2003, 00:01
I voted "Roswell That Ends Well". I think its the funniest of them all and Fry becoming his own grandpa is the funniest story ever.
JerryDec 24th 2003, 01:36
Where no Fan Has Gone Before. Of all the Futurama episodes, I have gone the longest without seeing that one.
SilentGregDec 24th 2003, 02:35
Only Cartoon Network will treat the show like this. I can't remember a time when Fox EVER treated the show like this. Apparently, Fox's hate for cartoons now is focused on King of the Hill, which most of you hate, by pre-empted it and "joined in process" because of NFL. The same NFL that was also responible for killing Futurama's ratings is now going to kill off King of the Hill. Many of you would be happy to see that show dead and buried forever. I can only imagine that The Simpsons will be next on Fox's killing field.

Sorry for the Fox bashing, but it piss me off that they have the balls to pull such a ridiculous stunt on a first-run episode of a show.
fryfanDec 24th 2003, 04:12
I can't wait to see which episode wins. I don't care which episode wins, I'm just glad at the treatment Futurama is finally getting. It's a win-win situation for all of us.
hoseheadDec 24th 2003, 05:17
Rosewell that ends well. It's all about the "past nastification"
MikeSmithDec 24th 2003, 07:08
Roswell gets my vote.
fryfanDec 24th 2003, 09:14
About the commies, I heard Futurama lost to South Park. I was disappointed the award wasn't mentioned during the actual show, instead it is just like what they do for the emmys.
RenDec 24th 2003, 16:15
I chose Time Keeps on Slippin', not because it's the best episode but because it is one of the most underrated.
MRTVDec 24th 2003, 18:15
For Futurama, I voted Anthology Of Interest 2.
For Family Guy, I voted my all-time favorite, E Peterbus Unum!
ELZilchoDec 24th 2003, 19:59
"Luck of the Fryrish" has always been one of my favorites and is definately one of Futurama's finest.
AndieSimilonDec 24th 2003, 21:03
can someone tell me after the episode aired, which one it was? just email me at my gotfuturama email, thx
ElizabethDec 24th 2003, 21:36
I voted Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV 4 Futurama.
bnlmaroonDec 27th 2003, 04:38
The main CGEF page says Futurestock is on Sunday. Does that mean that episode won, or is it being weird, like how it said A Flight To Remember was on everytime CN played Olive, The Other Reindeer?

This website sucks
AsterDec 27th 2003, 14:37
I voted for 'Luck Of The Fryish'. Why isn't 'The Sting' in there? I think that is one of the bestest episodes. But there are many bestest episodes of Futurama for me...
TomDec 27th 2003, 17:05
Where do you vote at? I can't find it. E-mail me PLEASE!
someoneDec 28th 2003, 01:21
To #17: Where No Fan Has Gone Before has won. I voted for Roswell That Ends Well but, oh well. WNFHGB is my 2nd favorite. So its all good.

To #18: You suck.
StevePDec 28th 2003, 03:12
Bravo it took you guys one day to response to my comment.

this website still sucks
WezzoDec 28th 2003, 09:17
Oh, shut your f'ing face, you evil, metal DOOORK.
HansMolebotDec 28th 2003, 18:03
To the maintainers:

I'm still trying to find room in my heart to forgive y'all for the extended downtime. I needed to consult the episode guide on many occasions, and yes, I had finals too (I feel your pain).

I mean this is really a compliment because it shows how useful I consider the site to be.

TomDec 28th 2003, 20:43
Is it to late to vote? Why hasn't anyone e-mailed me yet? (I was #20)
someoneDec 28th 2003, 22:47
Yes, it is too late to vote.
JitterroDec 29th 2003, 16:27
Dang, I wasn't expecting that episode to win, to be honest. Must have been all the Trekkies. Oh well, I'm not complaining. It's been ages since I've seen that episode.
NoneofyourbuisnessDec 29th 2003, 18:43
I thought the funniest part was wear Leela said use the sticks for spears, Fry said use the worms for bow and arrows then Bender picks up a gun and says Or we could shoot them with these machine guns I found. HAHAHAHA! >wastes ammo< Ah, that was fun.
