Although I'm not as big a fan of "The Sting" as others, I'm happy it got nominated, and very happy that TDHAIP got the Music nomination.

Good luck to them both. :D
MouseOnVenusJan 6th 2004, 13:22
I'm rooting for The Sting. I thought Paddy Verrone did a sterling job with the writing on that episode even if, as stated on the DVD commentary, his original script was even more daring.
AndieJan 6th 2004, 13:46
We demand the original script! ;)
DOMJan 6th 2004, 17:21

Thats the best thing thats happened to futurama since episode 418 the last ever episode
ElZilchoJan 6th 2004, 19:24
I hope Futurama can beat that silly Simpson's Three Gays of the Condo. That episode beat Futurama's Jurrasic Bark in the Emmy's. Let's hope it doesn't happen again. I don't know why that episode garners so much praise. It was one of the lamest Simpsons ever. Guess the critics are all gay.
fryfanJan 6th 2004, 21:30
The Sting was very touching, I hope it wins.
MRTVJan 6th 2004, 21:36
Simpsons had won enough. It's time for Futurama to have the crown.

FRinGesJan 6th 2004, 23:28
with all this attention FOX might want futurama come back
RoverJan 6th 2004, 23:41
Doubt it. But still, it's nice to dream.
fryfanJan 7th 2004, 03:23
Futurama could win a million awards and FOX still wouldn't bring it back. They just hate Futurama.
nickJan 7th 2004, 05:20
Let's all stuff the ballot box!
MikeSmithJan 7th 2004, 06:26
I hope Devil Hands would win. Chris Tyng and Ken Keeler did a great job on the opera.
JenJan 7th 2004, 11:15
Those two episodes are brilliant! They both deserve to win their categories, sooooooooo badly!
futuramaMADJan 7th 2004, 20:09
futurama will be back
DomJan 7th 2004, 21:05
Why everyone is saying that?
If course Futurama is cool, and we all enjoy it, but it won't make it returns on the air.
Unless we organise a mutiny on Fox Air, with hostage and all...oooooOOOhhhhHHH YeAh!!! Baby!
Like Fry said:
[-You just turn on off Fox air!!!!!]

( TO #24) F**k you, a$$hole!!!!

In other topics: Go Futurama!!!! And they WILL come back.....I hope......
tomJan 8th 2004, 21:03
yes futurama is great :)
fryfanJan 9th 2004, 09:28
Blame FOX, they just never understood the brilliance of Futurama. They thought it was too dark and wanted some crappy show like the Jetsons. Not that I'm saying the Jetsons were crappy, but it could have been better. Futurama is perfect the way it is, but FOX never realized that. I hope Futurama wins, it may not make FOX bring the show back, but it will at least further prove that Futurama was and still is a good show.
SRMJan 9th 2004, 19:40
Go Futurama! They've got to win. I finally saw that Simpson's episodes and it was not their best work. I don't care what the topic was, Homer was way off character, jokes were lame and it contradicted previous epsiodes on the same subject (which were better). They only won to be PC. (damn hippies!)
GustavJan 11th 2004, 22:18
Go Futurama -- We all know FOX make an error stopping Futurama and not Homer & co.
ShutUpJan 12th 2004, 01:47
Gustav, I know u aint talking about the Simpsons! I like Futurama and all but Simpsons is still just as good!
fryfanJan 12th 2004, 07:29
Guys listen, Futurama can win a TVland award. TVland.com has allows you to come up with your own category and what show should win. Just fill out the their categories and at the end put Best Animated show or whatever and put Futurama. I just did it.
MRTVJan 12th 2004, 22:04
The Futon Critic just finished numbers 41-50 on their best 50 episodes of 2003 and The Sting was Number 48. The number isn't so great, but I'll check tomorrow for some more Futurama episodes when they complete Numbers 31-40!
JohnJan 16th 2004, 02:15
"The Sting" was, in my personal oppinion, the best piece of art created... ever. It was so emotional, and so well thought out, brilliant!
The whole eppisode, one story in another. This should win! This should win if the people have seen this eppisode. Even if someone doesnt like Futurama (which they'd be INSANE!) "The Sting" can show anyone that it's not just a comedy, but a show of brilliance... and comedy
