DiMaggio on SW: Clone Wars

The official Star Wars Homing Beacon newsletter reports that John DiMaggio of Bender-fame will have two roles in the upcoming Clone Wars Micro Series.
Known to many fans as the voice of Bender on "Futurama," John DiMaggio not only plays a Padawan in the micro-series, but is also the menacing voice of General Grievous in the series. General Grievous is an Episode III character who makes his debut in the final episode of Star Wars: Clone Wars. Don't expect much in common between Grievous and Bender though. The General of the droid army isn't likely to invite any Jedi to bite his shiny metal posterior.
The second installment will start on March 26th on the Cartoon Network and starwars.com Hyperspace.

i find it interesting.. its good to see the voice talent moving on.

"8 Simple Rules" was on tv the other day.. i think its a new series.. new to Australia anyway..

I had it on in the background and i thought.. "Leela!"

I do the same when married with children is on i guess.

yes sir #6. Im waking up at 5 to get it before school starts :). Oh and the micro-series arn't that good... they're only like 5 mins. long... unless I'm thinking of another starwars thing, but if Im right then its not realy that good... I guess you have to be a StarWars fan.

#7, yes it is those really short "movies". And well, they're not that good i still think it's nice that John has a part in this.

HAHA how insane was my mainframe? I went to the store to buy Season 3, Tuesday at 12midnight... the very earliest(and I live on the east coast of the US so I got mine earlier then some other people w/ R.1 owners)

NOW I HAVE SEASON 3!!!! I now own 2 out of 4 seasons they will come out on DVD with!

Wonderful, but I'd rather see Groening and Cohen give him another shot at playing the role of "Bender" again.

**sigh**

Say, let's fire up the 'what if' machine and see what would have happened had Fox not foolishly decided to cancel Futurama!! :-D

I know Dimaggio personally[went to high school with him in north plainfield n.j.] and he is the coolest guy. Funniest f@#$%*r you'd ever want to meet. anyway, he's been doing voices for a long time now. He did a lot for the H.B.O. series SPAWN [animated] He was a construction worker in whoopie's movie "eddie" and was also a regular in the old show 'chicago hope'......So I hope that he keeps up the good work and hopefully he gets that megastar stature he deserves...oh and by the way ....Molly price[Faith, on 'third watch'] went to the same high school as Dimaggio...small world.
