Family Guy back in production

Well, it seems our sister show is going to be resurrected. Want proof? Read an entry on Alex Borstein's website, she's the voice of Lois Griffin and a staff writer :
Hello again! It is with great pleasure that I announce that Family Guy is back in action! I am very excited, as I know most of you will be when you lay your eyes on the first new episode. I don't have my official start date yet, but it should be very soon.
Where will Family Guy be aired? Most likely Cartoon Network, but no details of this are set yet. No air dates, either. What does this mean for Futurama, me wonders. Thanks to DrJohnZ for the heads up.

This is great news for both Family Guy fans and fans who like all prime-time animated shows like myself. I just hope Cartoon Network or Fox don't mess it up by moving the timeslot around like Fox did before. At least it will give me something to look forward to instead of the usual King of the Hill or Simpsons.
fredMar 24th 2004, 21:05
u should do a family guy wen peter chande personnalite with quagmiwer.
ReneeMar 24th 2004, 21:10
It means that....I forgot.
But the point is.....I forgot that too.

Let's hope that the same will happen to our beloved Futurama.
DrJohnZMar 24th 2004, 21:11
Thanks for posting this Jon... hopefuly Futurama can follow this action!
ScottOMar 24th 2004, 22:24
Why the heck do all these mediocre comics have to get political? Oh man...
WezzoMar 24th 2004, 22:36
Isn't it Fox that's bringing FG back..?
arneMar 24th 2004, 22:58
Soon maybe is Futurama back = )
JimmyMar 24th 2004, 22:59
I am glad of this. Popular shows should not be lost because of idiotic time slots. I am a much bigger fan of Futurama. This also gives Futurama a chance of also coming back. Someday.
ehrikMar 24th 2004, 23:20
pick up the new issue of Wired. it has a little snippet regarding adult swim that says that BOTH family guy and futurama have done so well in reruns, that theyre BOTH likely to be brought back!
ZeepMar 25th 2004, 00:02
Hooray! family guy is my 2nd favorite show, and if it is adult swim that's bringing it back, that means that someone (mike lazzo) is morking hard to get moremoney for AS, which could mean Futurama on Cartoon Network! Hooray!
EricBakerMar 25th 2004, 00:35
Unfortunately I doubt Futurama will follow suit, at least not on Cartoon Network. Mike Lazzo said they thought about reviving Futurama but found out that each episode cost around $500,000, which a small cable network like Cartoon Network quite simply can't afford. They were able to bring back Home Movies because it is literally animated in Flash. I doubt Family Guy is very expensive, either.
FrinGesMar 25th 2004, 02:01
cool cool
dvdashotMar 25th 2004, 02:18
I'm pretty sure I heard David X. Cohen mention how much the an average Futurama ep costs to produce and that it was at least a million.
jmgzz90Mar 25th 2004, 02:27
well yeah, with the 3D animations and all...but one of these days, it will come back...just pray
fryfanMar 25th 2004, 02:31
I hope that if Futurama does come back, that nothing has changed. The animation and voice-over actors and every that made me love the show from the beginning, I hope they still stay the same. THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.
jizzzzzzMar 25th 2004, 02:39
yay family guy is coming bak it is my second fovorite show
FrinkMar 25th 2004, 02:55
Family guy episodes are the same ammount as futurama.... Around $1,000,000. And even though I refuse to believe this myself.. Futurama isn't going to come back anytime soon. Though Futurama is MUCH better than family guy, this should at least give us something good to watch while waiting to see Futurama episodes.
DrJohnZMar 25th 2004, 03:05
well since I found the site and E-Mailed Jon, I'll keep researching on what network will air it. If its Fox, then they might also be interested in bringing back Futurama... But if its Cartoon Network, there will still be a chance for Futurama... Ted Turner owns it (he might also own Fox, i dont know) anyway Ted Turner owns like every TV company, and he might bring both shows back. Someday I'm sure...
RafalMar 25th 2004, 06:06
I heard that Family Guy was being brought back due to great rerun ratings, and dvd sales. If family guy has such great rerun ratings, obviously Futurama does too, but what about the DVD sales? Does anyone know how they are doing compared to the Family Guy DVD's?
trentMar 25th 2004, 06:51
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay FAMILY GUY KICKS ASS (so does futurama)
ClutchMar 25th 2004, 07:24
wonder if the original voice over cast will be back for family guy?
t0mMar 25th 2004, 14:35
I hope Cartoon Network is bringing it back! FOX doesn't deserve it again!
bigphilMar 25th 2004, 15:03
good to know one show is coming back, but i remember from a previous article CN commenting that it would be more likely to ressurecct family guy than futurama as it could make a cheap version of family guy without it affecting the show as much as it would with a cheap futurama.

still heres hoping for some good news everyone.

p.s. fox is owned by the perfectly likeable rupert murdoch who has never exerted any undue influence over politicians leading to major middle eastern wars, or published any hate filled newspapers in britain
BaddbloodMar 25th 2004, 16:38
F___ YEAH!
That show rocks, I guess high DVD sales can really sway opinion. How're the Futurama DVD's selling?
RenMar 25th 2004, 17:07
I don't have long-term numbers, but Futurama Volume 3 is currently #45 on the Amazon.com best-sellers list.
SRMMar 25th 2004, 17:33
#22 You are correct about Rupert Murdoch owning Fox Networks. Although I wish he would exert some influence over his entertainment networks and get them to stop cancelling popular shows. While I have no beef against him, his networks (except for FNC) are the pits. He should fire Gail Berman and get someone in there that will listen to the fans and stop this cheap, reality nonsense.
KingDrillMar 25th 2004, 17:52
I will start off by stating the obvious; Futurama Rocks, and it should be brought back. Also, Family Guy bites. That's right, I said Family Guy bites, and I hope this stirs up a dander or two.
Family Guy is the pinnacle of lowest-common denominator-brand sitcom crap! The jokes are plodding and trite (not to mention unfashionably cliche) the pacing is clumsy and off-balance, and the stories are dull and lackluster. I do not understand how shows like this can be grouped with works of genius like Simpsons or Futurama, programs that have defined American animated television. And although Simpsons has fallen behind in recent seasons, its golden age is of such a quality that this can be overlooked. Television shows like Family Guy try to absorb some of the reflected glory by creating an extremely 2-dimensional facsimilie, hoping that the masses confuse it with the original to the point of thinking that it is a show of equal quality. This is the pattern of corporate America, digging up the corpses of true art and entertainment, piecing them together, and unleashing them in the form of spin-offs, take-offs, and a universe of detritus and floor sweepings brought to you by the big rich turds in charge. And you know what? THEY OWN ALL OF US! So enjoy your Family Guy as the piece of rotten offal is brought back to 'life'. Enjoy being the punk of Corporate America, and reflect on how you are OWNED.
ScottOMar 25th 2004, 18:00
I agree to a certain extent with KingDrill. Not too many people could have said it better.

Don't get me wrong, I love Futurama, not in the way the ancient Greeks, but in the way a robot loves a human, a human loves a dog, and occasionally, a gorilla loves a kitty. But I think that Family Guy is a great show! sure it has some meaningless crap in it, but all shows do. And so Matt Groening didn't create it, big deal, that doesn't mean that the show is total crap. Family Guy is just another show created to enlighten someone for 30 mins. Yea I am a little pissed off that Family Guy was chosen to come back and not Futurama, but like #23 said, whoever makes this is going to make it cheap... and when Futurama DOES come back, I'm sure we all want it back just the way we had it, same voices, writers, producers, etc.
JeremyFeinMar 25th 2004, 18:41
Helen Hunt, Let's Be Blunt.....She's nothing more than a piece of............Oh Oh Oh wait Sorry that was a stupid and pointless song,

Now let's see what else is stupid and pointless........Oh I know family guy..........But hey It's Got Stewie the only likeable character,

Now Bring Back Futurama, Clerks the Cartoon and oh Yeah the Oblongs............Before I let loose the Muskrats with soup cans for heads and bubble gum for feet, they'll stomp on you head and it'll take days to get the poop goop put, Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah.
DamitolMar 25th 2004, 18:55
Family Guy is getting a second chance because of the high DVD sales. Joss Whedon's sci-fi show Firefly has been greenlighted as a theatrical film (that could lead to a new TV series if successful) because of strong DVD sales of the show that FOX cancelled midway through it's first season.

Many, many movies are made each year because studios know that even though it's close to impossible for a film to make it's money back in it's theatrical run, profits will be found in the DVD sales a few months later.

The answer is clear. You want more Futurama, get more DVDs sold. If you work in a store that sells DVDs, recommend it to customers. If not show your DVDs to your friends and try to convince them to buy copies for themselves.

Studios see DVD sales as the new cash cow. Prove to FOX that there is a strong market for new Futurama episodes on DVD, and the *will* be made.

P.S. - Although it was cheaper to make - and I don't have the numbers handy to back this up - but Family Guy was not all that much cheaper to make than Futurama.
spacemanspiffMar 25th 2004, 19:30
hey kingdrill how is that cave you live in? FG has it's moments and like art and the subject matter I don
AlittlehopeMar 25th 2004, 20:19
You may want to look at.

JamesStewartMar 25th 2004, 21:16
Its basically like this:

Futurama is better than Family Guy.

Futurama is more memorable.

What are the sales of Futurama and why doesn't Matt just use his millions to promote Futurama and get it back on air?!
RobmanMar 25th 2004, 21:27
Frankly, I think Family Guy is kind of overrated (it's really not much more than a blatant rip-off of The Simpsons, and I don't really like any of the characters). But those arguments aside, the show is quite often hilarious, and that's the most important thing for a comedy--to be funny.

So I'm glad it is being resurrected. And of course I'm disappointed they chose to revive FG and not our beloved Futurama, but there's always the chance we may still get our wish. And since they're making new FG's now, maybe the writing will improve over time, and eventually we may even get something that's on par with The Simpsons at its best.
kingdrillMar 25th 2004, 21:29
Spaceman Spiff, if you see art in Family Guy, then you truly have the 'eye'. And don't get me wrong; I'm not saying by any stretch of the imagination that American television is in any way the height of human culture; far from it. Just because Family Guy may be the lesser of the evils in comparison with what else is on American TV, doesn't make it art. It's fools who are happy with comparing crap with $#!t that put this country in the state that it's in, tragedies and all. And if you don't see a correllation to what's on television and what takes place in our society, then you really are a fool. It's true that 'reality' TV is a plague upon western culture, but that doesn't make Family Guy the cure. And as long as the 'people' keep accepting crap like that and Reealitee Teevee then things will only get worse. And I think you will be hard pressed to find a single network that is not owned by the same rotten bastards that have helped paint the pretty picture that you so succinctly verbalized, so can your freeze-dried rhetoric and reconsider why you watch television in the first place. Do you watch it because you need a direction for your life, or do you watch it because it's something really worthwhile?
BrianTheJewMar 25th 2004, 22:38
Yo!!!!
Futurama is cool and all, but Family Guy freakin' rocks the house. I love Therese, but the only thing I love more is Family Guy. OK, I love Therese more, but Family Guy rules!! And Futurama is cool and tends to be deeper at times, but it cannot compare to the sheer hilarity of FG.
YOU WILL BOW TO ME!!!

i didnt read all the posts above me so maybe someone else confirmed it but yes cartoon network is paying for the new family guy production i remember reading about it in the news paper about 3 months ago.. old news :P

also futurama is better i dont care what anyone says.

KingDrill--
What the hell is the matter with you? You put way too much importance on what is on the TV. Societal problems aren't related to TV, except CNN. Societal problems are the result of an increasingly secularized and beaurocritized way of life. And Jell-O. That crap is destroying the moral fabric of the Western world.
Television is just a thing to watch, bro. No more, no less, you silly little boy. Just watch it and shut up.
And for the record, reality TV is TOTALLY LAME, except for the MOARTV (mother of all reality television), Cops. That show kicks ass.
VICTORY IS MINE!!!

EddieMar 25th 2004, 23:40
Ok, here's my take.

*Futurama isn't being brought back because DVD sales aren't as good.

*I'm glad Family Guy is back, necause it's evrything The Simpsons used to be; Edgy and funny.
I'm especially glad that FG is coming back when we need it more than ever. Futurama is gone (though I still have a shred of tattered optimism), KOTH... well, it was never funny to begin with, and The Simpsons have become too Main stream. They seem to rely more on the fact, "Hey! It's The Simpsons! IT'S GOOD, DAMMIT!" than decnt writing. It's stale, and at times even plagiristic (look at "Homer The Moe" and Family Guy's "Let's go to The Hop"; The writers stole the "Glass braking on Jukebox during Fonzie routine" from them. The only thing they added was much more unnessecary(sp) and poorly animated blood.)

So, am I glad FG's back? Yes.
Do I wish Futurama was back more? Yes.
Is it gonig to happen? Probably not for a while.
Am I going to take what I can get? Absoulutely.
t0mMar 26th 2004, 00:01
I know! Simpsons also copied FG on Treehouse of Horror 14, when Homer became the new Grim Reaper. Remember when Peter became death? Ring a bell?
DrJohnZMar 26th 2004, 00:07
anyone who goes on this site and bad mouths Futurama, and talks about FG as if it were the best, can get a life. Futurama, unlike Family Guy goes beyond what a cartoon should... the writing and story line is sublime... Family Guy is too narrow, as much as i like it... I still and always will believe Futurama is the better of the two, even if they make new Family Guy eppisodes...... the ultimate enlightening experience will be when they bring Futurama back... Some day I know they will (just like it used to be)
JohnMar 26th 2004, 00:27
If Family Guy can be brought back on the air, so can Futurama. It took a while to bring Family Guy back on the air and Futurama wasn't off the air for a long time, but it can still be saved i think. To everyone, BUY MORE FUTURAMA DVDS and products.
FuturamafanMar 26th 2004, 00:27
I like Family Guy too but how about some new Futurama episodes?
EddieMar 26th 2004, 00:49
I agree with the fact that Futurama needs more episodes.
I'll just watch FG on TV and buy Futurama DVDs. Sheesh, they're just shows.
Though I do agree that Futurama's writing was excellent.
artanMar 26th 2004, 00:49
#27:
you could not possibly be closer to the truth than you are. i am in complete agreement. Futurama and (pre-season 10) The Simpsons are absolutely the pinnacle of not only animated TV, but TV in general. Family Guy is low-brow rubbish. i've seen about a half a dozen episodes and it is just terrible. the reason it is being brought back is the high DVD sales and re-run rating, COMBINED with the fact that it is low-brow and FOX doesn't hate it. FOX hates Futurama.... always have, always will. Futurama will never be brought back unless and jillionaire ('sir, that is not a number') pays for it out of his/her own pocket. face it, people.

AllenMar 26th 2004, 03:09
You may want to check the article in Wired Magazine issue 12.04 The 2004 Rave Review Awards page 12 paragraph three.
Quote - “Lazzo's trademark is bringing dead toons back to life. He got his big break when he created the cult hit Space Ghost Coast to Coast in 1994 by splicing new celebrity interviews into old animated footage. Last year, Futurama and Family Guy reruns did so well that it's likely both shows (which Fox killed in prime time) will produce new episodes.”
SpoonerMar 26th 2004, 03:39
I'm a huge Family Guy fan, and gotta say that I guess some people just don't see what I see in it.

The "Simpsons Ripoff" theory holds no water (IM me at spooner2222 and I'll dispell any doubt) and it goes deeper than just pop culture humor. If you can't see past the seemingly rough exterior of the show, you're not looking hard enough.

And to clear up some previous arguments, in teh last estimates I heard Family guy costs 1.1 mil an ep and Futurama cost around 1.3 mil. Unlike Family Guy, though, Futurama can't be made at a cheaper price.

Anyway, Family Guy won't seem exactly the same without Futurama, so here's to hoping Futurama makes a belated return, as well.
TimMar 26th 2004, 03:51
I agree with whoever said Futurama had better writing and animation than FG. In all honesty, no show, cartoon or not, has been able to be both funny and emotional at the same time and still keep its touch (Luck of the Fryrish, Devils Hands Are Idle Things, Jurassic Bark, etc...). Anyhow, here to hoping it can be brought back!
GilesMar 26th 2004, 14:47
If you watch an episode of Futurama you will notice that they almost always end with a touching emotional point. They have a morale. Now if you watch a new episode of the simpsons you will see that this never happens, often they make a joke out of the fact that they were in a crazy situation and everything just flicked back. This is a big difference between the two shows that is often overlooked. The stories in family guy are usually nothing to do with morals and nothing can be gained, it is like a cartoon sit-com.
LoriderMar 26th 2004, 18:33
What I do not like about Family Guy is that most of the jokes that are actually funny on the show have already been done on The Simpsons. Yes they word them a little bit different or make the situation different but essentially they are just the same jokes recycled. The voices never seem to match the characters and most of the times you can't tell when famouse people are supposed to be on it unless they tell you who these people are. The orignal jokes that are not ripped off always seem long and drawn as if they keep repeating it someone will eventually laugh. The Simpsons and Futurama seem to be able to make fun of anyone and everything with a sense of class as if they are just naturally funny, whereas Family Guy seems to have to work so hard at it. And I have to agree with a previous poster in regards to none of the characters being really likeable. If anything the money being used for Family Guy should be used in a campaign to bring back Futurama.
BrianMar 27th 2004, 02:05
Agreed Robman. I don't hate Family Guy, I just don't think it is very funny.

I bought the S1-2 DVD and found myself unable to watch the episodes over again. They just have no replayability. I didn't by the S3 DVD.
ghostofquotemasterMar 27th 2004, 04:58
I think all of us can agree that family guy is at least better than another big fat fiance. i mean c'mon what is fox trying to do create the absolute possible worst show on the planet.
number56Mar 27th 2004, 07:08
Yeah. And Futurama is waaaaaaaaaay better than Family Guy. I don't care what others will say...cause u can't make me change my opinion. :D
ScogMar 27th 2004, 17:02
Hey, I don't care what you think about Family Guy, the fact is that this is great news for us as Futurama fans. It was our sister show and no matter who said what or how likely this or that is, the fact is that it's being brought back by popular demand. Instead of telling each other to be "realistic" about Futurama being put back into production, we need to step up, band together, and grab this by the throat, like FG fans did. We need another huge petition. And we need more yelling, kicking, and screaming until they give in to us like they did for FG!
OEMMar 27th 2004, 18:38
THIS SHOW ROCK + ITM IS FUNNY
FANOFBOTHSHOWSMar 27th 2004, 19:28
YOU'RE ALL CRAZY!!! BOTH SHOWS ARE AWESOME IN DIFFERENT WAYS, FUTURAMA FOR ITS STORYLINE AND CHARACTERS (ESP. FRY AND ZOIDBERG), AND FG FOR ITS RANDOMNESS AND SHEER HILARITY. PERSONALLY, I'M GLAD THEY CHOSE TO BRING BACK FG BECAUSE THERE ARE WAY MORE EPISODES OF FUTURAMA, INCLUDING ONES THAT I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN YET. I'M SHOCKED THAT FUTURAMA FANS AREN'T MORE SUPPORTIVE OF THE CHOICE TO MAKE NEW FAMILY GUY EPISODES. AND BRIAN THE JEW, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, I LOVE YOU TOO!
BuzzMar 27th 2004, 21:18
WOOT! Go Cartoon Network for bringing Family Guy back, it should be on Adult Swim and get $$$. Fox will regret letting this show go.
FGManMar 27th 2004, 23:36
To all of you that said Family Guy is just low brow entertainment, must not get the many cultural referances.

Quick the popemobile!
StaroneMar 28th 2004, 00:07
I'm with you Robman. I think Family Guy is overrated too. Why can't someone with a soul be head of fox (or any tv network).

StaroneMar 28th 2004, 00:13
Sorry for the double post

I bet if the DVD sales started falling they would quickly reconsider this and quickly put Family Guy back in the grave.

But if it was Futurama being brought back I wouldn't be saying any of this.
EddieMar 28th 2004, 03:30
#54: That's the point. It's a take-off of all the old Sit-Coms. For example, they ended "Mr. Griffin Goes To Washington" with a "Special Message" that had little to do with the episode's plot.
questionforreviewer59Mar 29th 2004, 04:22
What DID the Family Guy fans do? Was it another petition?
FamilyGuyRulesMar 29th 2004, 06:06
Family Guy is simply HILARIOUS! I love all of the characters. I love the flashbacks and how anything can happen. Great writing, hilarious and/or witty stabs are virtually anyone or anything. Futurama should be brought back too.

If I had to choose just one to come back I'd have to pick Family Guy over Futurama, simply because of how funny the show is. Futurama kicks ass too though, so I really hope it will come back.

Both shows rule and should still be on the air.

FamilyGuyRulesMar 29th 2004, 06:13

At PlanetFamilyGuy.com it is posted that FC was originally 1.1 million dollars per episode and is being reduced to one million dollars. It also says that there were 2.2 million copies of the FC DVDs sold
FuturamaFanMar 30th 2004, 16:15
This makes no sense, reviving a not-quite-as-funny Simpsons imitator while a truly imaginative and at times brilliant show like Futurama is still not back on the air. And yes I know that Family Guy sold a lot of DVDs, but money or making money has nothing to do with intelligence, I mean "reality" TV shows are going strong (even though the only last true reality TV show was Candid Camera) and no--COPS is not a reality show, anytime people know there is a camera on them, nothing realistic there-sorry, try some real dealings with COPS even when you are the victim and called them and you will soon find out its a lot differnt then they are portrayed on the show. Anyways, its too bad brilliance like Futurama is axed-says something about the turn our society is taking.
KMuttMar 31st 2004, 10:36
Ok in my opinion, Im glad that FG is being brought back. Yes Futuramas whole layout is better, but FG is still very funny. I must say though, sorry to the FG fans, but i like futurama better. I would love to see them make new episodes of Futurama, like a Leela and Fry marridge, zapp hears and trys to stop it, yada yada yada. Even so, any new Futurama episodes would be awsome!
JayMar 31st 2004, 22:19
Glad to hears it back, but I hope the break leads to some better episodes. The 1st season was Brilliant, very witty and funny, but the later episodes began to suck badly and just became obscure and weird rather than funny.

I really want Futurama back though, I thought that the DVD sales were excellent for Futurama? I own two seasons and buying the other two in a sale here in the UK for
ThomasJKruseApr 1st 2004, 03:08
just the fact of thinking that if futurama came back it would be cheaper sucks, but hell i want it back
EddieApr 1st 2004, 03:13
#73: I couldn't disagree more. To me, the first season was, in my eyes, some of the most lackluster material I've ever seen. I can tell that in the later seasons the cast and crew loosened up and had a better time of it.
BendersNightmareApr 1st 2004, 17:58
Bring back Futurama, other than The Simpsons and Married with Children when it was on, it was really the only thing worth sitting down to watch on TV. And how come in day to day living, people always talk about The Simpsons and Futurama when it was on, but no one ever talks about Family Guy. Makes me wonder about the people buying the DVD's. But that's just my humble opinion.
CoryRobertsApr 2nd 2004, 23:37
Its great that family guy is coming back. this should have happened a long time ago.

I just don't get family guy and I never did. I don't particularly care for all the cut away fantasy sequences and the never ending lcd jokes.
I wish they would bring back futurama but with production cost be so high compared to most cartoons it is likely gone forever.

#76:
I have heard tons of people talk about Family Guy, especially now that it is on CN and out on dvd, but I hardly ever hear people talk about Futurama. I know several people who have the FG dvds but not one person(except for myself) who owns a Futurama dvd. The fact is that most people who watch these kind of shows don't like to think and just want a quick laugh, so they could care less about the deep meaning and great character developement of Futurama.
FuturamaniacApr 6th 2004, 18:30
I liked how Futurama seemed to explore outside the boundries on science and technological ideas, like the Star Trek series but in a humorous vein. That show was just jam-packed with imagination you just do not see anywhere else(even Star Trek tended to be a little tame.) Who could not love the episodes with the Professors "What-If" machine? It's a shame a lot more television couldn't be like that.

LoneWolfApr 7th 2004, 15:25
Why o' why do the gods of good intellectual humor mock and spit so cruelly at us.
PsycheGuyApr 7th 2004, 15:29
Nixorbo,

Usually people who call other people names like that are secretly afraid that it is true of themselves. Basically he is calling himself that.

What are you, a phychiatrist? Don't try and patronize me you GAY ass.
PsycheGuyApr 8th 2004, 17:13
Actually I am, and thanks for proving my point. It's alright to come out of the closet, guy. There's no shame, you just need the courage to face up to it. Society should accept you for what you are, but only if you can. Take care.
NixorboApr 8th 2004, 18:14
PsycheGuy,
I agree with #87. YOU are GAY.
NixorboApr 8th 2004, 18:20
Who is 001100110 and why is he calling me gay and using my name to call other people gay?

P.S. PsycheGuy is GAY!!!!!!!!!
00022220022002Apr 8th 2004, 18:26
0110011001,
Stop being an ass and just admit that YOU are the gay one.
01100110Apr 8th 2004, 18:30
I am not gay. Besides, if I was then why are you copying my name?(sort of) Do You have something to tell us?

P.S. Nixorbo and PsycheGuy are GAY!!!!!!
PsycheGuyApr 8th 2004, 18:34

P.S. So am I!!!!!!!!!
DrJohnZApr 9th 2004, 15:56
you've all soiled this comment chat, 00110011, PsycheGuy, and Nixorbo who gives a crap, this is for people who wanna talk about whats relevant to the post, not for name calling and crying
get a job!!!
TrueFanApr 9th 2004, 18:32
Thats the plus and minus of the internet, anyone can put there opinion out there, even if it some lonley geek with way too much time on there hands and not enough mental factilities to put it to good use like these three knuckleheads. Now, back to the topic, it would be cool if Futurama were reinstated. Family Guy is alright, though the laughs are few and far between, but I always thought it was just a filler show between the good shows.
FoxHATERApr 9th 2004, 21:52
You know who the gay ones really are? FOX!! They cancel all of the good shows and just show crap. Even the good shows they have now just get worse and worse. The Simpsons used to be awesome but now it seems to be going downhill. The Sunday lineup(except for The Simpsons and King of the Hill) is aweful. Oliver Bean is one of the worst comedies out there, Bernie Mac sucks, and Arrested Development is O.K., but noy worth keeping around. Malcolm in the Middle is pretty good, though.
dbacksguyApr 11th 2004, 06:33
So,yeah, I'm freakin pumped about this. This, by far, is the greatest show FOX has ever created...the retards apperantly didn't realize that though (Sorry all you Simpson fans, Stewie kicks Maggie's ass). Anyway, I just can't wait for it to get started.
DankClownApr 11th 2004, 12:33

dbacksguy...
yea man, Stewie is the best because he's evil... yet still a child
FanApr 12th 2004, 10:59
Futurama and The Family Guy are both very hilarious shows, I don't understand why they should cancel them, they bring humour into our lives, which we could all use a little of....I sometimes don't underdstand fox, I mean, enough reality shows for crying out loud, and I've seen enough survivor and American Idol, I get it, Simon's a jerk, we get it now...It's the same old thing...I'd much rather watch episodes of comedy cartoons, than singers getting dissed by some British guy. I own the complete set of Family Guy, and I really hate how when they cancel the show, they don't end it with any special ending, it just leaves it hanging there, I'm glad that they are putting it back, but I really hope they put back Futurama too...You know what the real problem is about these cartoons, people don't appriciate it until after it has been cancelled and then they watch it and realize what a great show it is, but then it is too late because they arn't going to make anymore. I wonder if we could all sign some type of petition and send it straight to Fox, but to make an impact, I would think that we would have to have at least 1 million signatures or so.. anyone with me?
DankClownApr 13th 2004, 09:23
How About I Have Sex With All The Top Officials At Fox, Then Blackmail Them To Put The Shows Back On The Air? Or, We Can Just Have Sex And Call It Even.
LakaimanApr 13th 2004, 22:39
who ever does not like family guy or futurama is a fag with no balls and should go screw them selfs.
KVAApr 13th 2004, 23:26
#103, how about those who like Futurama and doesn't like family guy ?
HellBoundApr 14th 2004, 15:06
I agree with KVA. I love Futurama because it is non-stop laughs all the way through. But Family Guy, you have to wait too long in between laughs.
1001101Apr 15th 2004, 04:51
#102, I think it is terrible how you are dirtying up the chat room with your filth. Besides, I think some of the FOX officials are men. Are you saying that you are GAY?

P.S. Nixorbo and PsycheGuy are GAY!!!
JoeApr 16th 2004, 18:13
hey buddy, do you realize that 1001101 is binary for "GayBoy." so was it intentional or a subconsious thing? Anyways a little closet fruit is hardly worth anymore of my time than this. I think that they should bring back both shows and smack them together with The Simpsons and King of the HIll. That would be a powerhouse combo.
LakaimanApr 16th 2004, 22:51
I think by joe is right about all of the cartoons they are all funny and they should make more of them all.
LakaimanApr 16th 2004, 22:54
#104 you cant just like futurama with out liking family guy its just not right.
fryguyApr 17th 2004, 02:08
Fuck you king drill
fryguyApr 17th 2004, 02:13
83 84 85 your all gay so shut thr f***
00100111001Apr 17th 2004, 04:49
Joe,
I just typed in numbers because I don't care enough to think of something else. Besides, how do You know that 01101 is binary for GayBoy? I'm just saying, its awfully suspicious.
00110111Apr 17th 2004, 04:59
Fryguy,
There is no need for you to dirty up the chat room and call us gay. Besides fuck you wasn't exactly a very good comeback to Kingdrill. Come on, how old are you. Besides, you and fryguy seem gay so why don't yall go find another chat room on the web to dirty up with yall's gay perversion.

P.S. Nixorbo and Psycheguy are gay
NixorboApr 17th 2004, 05:06
STOP CALLING ME GAY!!!! For your information, I am a WOMAN and I am married to a MAN.
00110111Apr 17th 2004, 05:11
Nixorbo, well that is different then. If you want to ditch your husband and get a girlfriend because lesbians are a wonderful thing. Unless you were once a man and then had a sex change. That is just wrong and I hope your husband knows about it.
DrJohnZApr 17th 2004, 23:45
ok i'll now take a moment to point out some dumbass posts, and give my opinion.
#112: Joe knew how to read binary, he has a higher IQ then you, and I agree with his 'it was a subconsious thing' theory.
#113: the real question would be old are you 00110111? you act like an idiot
#115: in your previous posts you quote to people to stop 'dirtying this web-site' then talk about sex changes and stuff... seriously, how old are you?
anyone reading this will notice that all 3 posts were generaly by the same person... so to that one person I say, get a life, and stop calling people gay, you little twat!
FreewheelerApr 19th 2004, 16:12
Bring back Futurama, Bring back Futurama.

Also, hats off to you, DrJohnZ. This guy is like one of those bratty kids(probably is). If you just ignore them, they usually go away.
001101Apr 21st 2004, 01:21
#116,
for your own information I am only 13years old so I have a right to be immature. Insulting a kid is just low. you should be ashamed. Also it wouldn't be some subconcious thing to pick 00110 as my name for being gay because 1. I'm not gay and 2. I've never even heard of binary. I just picked 001101 because it was the first thing I saw when I was wathing Futurama when I typed my very first post. Also just because he took some stupid class where he had to know binary or is just so big of a geek that he taught it to himself and he acts a little more mature than me doesn't mean he is smarter than me. You people just need to lighten up.

P.S. Nixorbo and Psycheguy are GAY!!!
FANApr 21st 2004, 13:44
I'm not taking sides, I'm just here to make a simple fact, binary represents numbers and not letters, and depending on how you interpret those numbers, determines what they stand for, and in cases of binary, 1001101 is a 7 bit number, which is just 77... so just try to stop this nonsence and keep forums clean and simple, just FYI

this is about futurama, a show we all like so talk about that, not about some silly remarks about one another. keep the peace
0110Apr 23rd 2004, 01:48
#119 is right we should use these forums to talk about how good Futurama is. I am so glad that it is not gay like Nixorbo, Psycheguy, and Dr.JohnZ.
DrJohnZApr 24th 2004, 04:39
I wonder when they'll start the new eppisodes of Family Guy?

BTW 0110 is 'gay' the cool word at your school or something? seriously get a life, stop calling people gay.
KVAApr 25th 2004, 10:11
to #121 : no, that's the word his classmates use to call him
DrJohnZApr 27th 2004, 03:57
oooh... that would explain a lot then.
dumassApr 28th 2004, 18:35
I want to fuck you so hard
mbrodriguezMay 7th 2004, 17:57
This is boring,you're all boring

I'm gonna go watch tv
SpoonerMay 9th 2004, 18:28
The odds of him choosing "GayBoy" in binary are roughly... 1 in impossible. He's probably just some guy who feels like stirring up the Futurama fans by acting like a little kid.
Log23May 13th 2004, 04:59
i like it on cartoon network and it is cool
