Can't get enough Futurama

After defending their recently uninhabited world from alien invaders, Fry, Leela, and Bender set out to discover the whereabouts of their missing colleagues as well as billions of citizens from Planet Earth. But "where are they?" soon turns into "when are they?" and "how" and "why" also make a little appearance in Part 2 of "Time Bender Trilogy."

What I don't quite understand is why this issue is titled "part 2", since #16 was continued into #17 which continued into #18 which will continue into #19. So shouldnt #18 be the 3rd part? Ehm...

Maybe if we buy this stuff they might put Futurama back on. That's what Matt said.

The reason it's numbered like that is #16 was officially part 0. It's a prolouge to the Time Bender Trilogy, not an actual installment. That makes #17 part 1, #18 part 2, and #19 part 3.

@5: Today is the 10th of August, the day when Futurama got cancelled. The plan is to send cans of anchovies to Fox.

Well, whatdayaknow? I was just watching Futurama on Fox Spain (both Fox Spain and Fox Italy are broadcasting Futurama a few times a week! Hurray!) and todays episode (15 mins ago actually) was non other than A Fishful of Dollars!

That's wonderful and all, but what I want to know is this:

1. When is Matt Groening going to host Adult Swim?
2. When is Fox going to do with Futurama what they did with Family Guy - that is, admit they bleeped up, BIG TIME, and add it back to their lineup?

Marc, is correct, but today isn't the day we send anchovies. That dtae has changed. No, today, we honor the day of the final episode. And remember that horrible promo FOX aired before the final episode.

"Will Fry get Leela? Find out on the final Futurama".

That was a slap in the face to all Futurama fans, just as in previous weeks, when they'd announced a new episode and had Homer say, "Doh...I mean Whoo Hoo!"

Okay, so messed up a bit with the anchovies-date. That's because in Holland (the Netherlands actually before you think I'm from Michigan) Futurama was cancelled after season 1. So no stupid promos either. (we don't have a FOX affiliate here; it was syndicated to a local nationalwide station).

It also was on an awkward timeslot so noone overhere know (knew) the series.

I of course am the proud owner of 15 DVD's worth of Futurama episodes ;-)

They better put Futurama back on. The final episode was a happy ending but there was somthing missing. I do hope they decide to make more episodes.

P.S. I just watched some episodes from my Futurama Volumn 4 boxset that I just purchased. I hated the episode Jurrasic Bark. It has a horrible ending. It made me almost teary eyed.
