Draw my Shiny Metal Ass (contest)

Think you can draw Fry better than anyone else? Or maybe Zapp, or Leela? Maybe even Nibbler... Well now's your chance to put your paint brush where you mouth is. Or something like that. Artxilla.com is looking for the best of the best, and if you're the best, you'll get season 4 of Futurama on DVD and a set of Toynami's Futurama I-men! Hell, even if you aren't the best, you might still have a chance of walking away with season 4 and a set of figures. The best 3 drawings all get both prizes. They may even throw in some runner-runner-runner-up prizes into the contest, so head on over to their contest page and submit your best Futurama drawing, contest ends October 7th.

These are extremely impressive entries, I like Otis P Jivefunk's twisted Bender suicide booth.
I'm working on an eight-legged freaks style futurama picture, but don't have the art skills to make it FemJessesque stunning... here's hoping my next four years in art school will change that.

On a related note, does this site still take fan art? I haven't seen new stuff here for a while.

Yeah, some of those entries are quite impressive. I like the different twists some of the artists take on the characters instead of the traditional look.

my friend silvertide is thinking about entering. He's done pretty good pictures of Futurama characters in their SpyOrama form, and he feels he can do something good for this contest.

It's too bad I can't draw at all... I tried drawing in the Groening style once. The results weren't pretty.

Then try your own style! It couldn't hurt. (I don't want to jump into the "Practice makes acceptable!" speech. It's obnoxious and everyone hates it/has heard it.)

Alright I can draw my own style,Matt Greoning's style.But I can't draw anything realistic,I tried it and,well,you don't want to see it.Wait do you draw it, or do you do it on computer?Well I'll find out,I think?If I do good luck drawers.And make the best futurama-fan win!

All of you people seem to be getting the idea that it has to be drawn a certain way or else you're fscked... that is NOT the case. draw any which way you can. take a look at a few of the entries, theyre very unique.

Man these submisions are impressive, the ammount of wallpapers ive got now. I love Cadet's entries, i love agnes entry, i love Voices entries (especially the prof. farnsworth), and last but not least i love Greaze_Munky's entry.

I think my favourite is Voices, he or she's style is awesome, i love the new one of fry with headphones, if you read this, thanks for letting me see something so fucking sweet.
