After all of the residents of Springfield are enslaved in 31st century New New York City, the Simpsons and the Planet Express crew must work together to restore order, find a peaceful resolution, and repair the huge gaping vortex in the side of the New New York Public Library that has unleashed every character from the world of literature on an unsuspecting populace. Prepare yourself for..."The Read Menace"! Read it and weep with laughter.

Also, rumor has it the new Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection DVD will have four new commentary tracks with Matt Groening, David X., Billy West, and John DiMaggio. Along with a never before seen animatic of one of the episodes in the set.

to #2: why don tyou jsut import it?99.9% sure it'll be the same...plus, it work out cheaper if you import it.
TEh commentaries on the DVD should be awesome. A reason for us fans to step up and support the show. i miss it dearly. Everytiem i see th simpsons, my heart sinks....why didnt they cancel the crap show as opposed to the good one?*sigh*

#12, I see this more as futurama merchandise after the fact of it dying, not really as something to 'bring futurama back' on. I highly doubt comic book sales ever affected anything tv related, ever.

Also , in Ireland, finding any of Matt Greoning's creations in comic form is quite difficult , excluding those big "Best of" books, so peolpe who enjoy the comics get to read a comic about once every couple of months if you live far from Dublin's city centre, so all of you who can find these comics easily in the U.S. ,Canada and other non-european countries should be glad ot have the comics. I only read the second half of the first Futurama/Simpsons tale 'cause it was a gift from family living in the States. I never saw a copy of either half here.

Whoever deleted half the comments in here, good job. Some of the stuff in here was a disgrace to this site and the Futurama community... we don't need it here. Getting the Futurama comics in the US can even be tough. My comic shops sell out on the first day. I figure though, since Futurama is now just a comic it gives the franchise a lot of street cred. Just like the name Blotto.

Ohh wow! indeed to MrCurious for sharing a great question with us all, not! and I think that TEh was a one of many mispellings in this comments page and besides it syas teh on SSF on the news page. Hopefully if the dvd is released it will have Katey Segal, Tom Kenny and basically people who've never been recorded for a commentary before but the they will be bringing it out is just a money making scheme which i won't buy into because I have all the episodes anyway but I liked the comic, I thought it was good, not great but still good.

Well, angrysnail, the most memorable things for me were:
-everyone interviewed about futurama really loved it.
-E.G. Daily of "Rugrats" fame was interviewed(Her voice is cool).
-Lots of bizarre '70's stuff was in the list.
-Family Guy was fifth, Tom & Jerry second and Simpsons first.

i'm the one who asked about the meaning of 'teh' up a few posts back, and what offends me the most is I think that some person accused me of having a real life (if thats what rl means). Just because I dont understand what 'teh' means doesnt mean i have a life, I do not understand the logic behind that. I've just never gotten into the whole internet geek fan side of Futurama. I originally responded to that by calling you all nerds (tee hee hee...) but that got deleted with all those other posts for some reason. So, really, whats up with that "teh" deal? Im curious
