man this is gonna be good,fox sucks for cancelling it, whenever a new episode ends it makes me think how much its gonna suck when the series is done with.

I would just like to say that SkyOne (here in England where we see Futurama) is handling this really well. While waiting on "The Sting" during Fox's negligence, they have showed 2 great 3AVC episodes, and today have just shown "I Dated a Robot" which has never been aired over here. Thanks, at least someone cares about the fans of the show.

To mickey: The DVD-sets or by production season and not broadcast season. Broadcast-season 5 had one produtions season 3 episode, and the rest of broadcast-season 5 were production season 4 episodes. This means that in the season 3 dvd set there will be one season 5 episode. The rest of season five will be in the season 4 dvd set.
There will be NO season 5 dvd-set!

any chance that some other company will continue to buy futurama episodes?

did you notice that in the last episode of the season 4 "where no fan had gone before" that bender says:
"another classic sci-fi show cancelled before its time"
its get a totally diffent meaning when you think of futurama as that show...

I just ordered my copy of the season 3 DVD from a company called DVDON.com. Seem they have the release date as May 28th. 2003

It is about time. I was getting bored of everything else on tv. It will be a breath of fresh air beside all the garbage that American Idol and Gail Berman has brought to the Fox network.

Its comming down to the last eps.Fox must not know a good show when they see one. oh well what is done is done. BUT WAIT! You can still see Futurama on Cartoon Network at 11:00 Eastern time. I think Cartoon Network should pick up where Fox is leaving off.So every one e-mail Adult Swim and ask if they will.

We all need to make sure tha the ratings for the final futuramas are through the roof, to make them think about what they did.

I'm so glad that FOX decided to air the LAST 8 episodes, though I'm still pissed off at them for not airing Futurama anymore next year...But who knows? Maybe some other network will help Futurama?

To #28: Just set your VCR to record Futurama. It is much easier watching on tape because you can fast forward though all those annoying commericals. Set the damn thing like five minutes or so before and after the show so you won't miss a minute of Futurama.
