Can't get enough Futurama

Some nice season one episodes this week. I like all these episodes, but I must admit, I've sort of gotten bored with My Three Suns after watching it so often... Though it might be I don't generally like Egypt-style anythings.

No offense, but how can you like the "Bot Planet" episode? Eps like that bring down the whole series, in my opinion; it's like they just got lazy and decided the concept was IN AND OF ITSELF funny, and they didn't have to write intelligent jokes.

I don't follow...Fear of a Bot Planet is really a classic Futurama episode, they visit a planet, have an adventure, and leave. It's a tried and tested good plot framework. In what way does it "bring down the whole series"??

I agree with #3 the Bot planet is one of my favorite episodes. I loved it and why John didn't i don't see. Maybe he was high or I was I don't remember maybe I was high.

Yeah, "Bot Planet" was great. Really, Season 1 is the most consistently good one in the series. The same can't be said for the following seasons which each feature their share of below-average episodes.

Production season 3 is still my favorite season though.

Yes, Fear of a Bot Planet is a fantastic episode, it introduces blernsball, and has a great 50s B movie sci-fi feel to it (eg the robot movie theatre).
And in my opinion the only Season of Futurama (production season) that has any slightly below average episodes is Season 3. As great as season 3 is, it's two or three episodes longer than the other seasons, and also has two or three weak episodes.
Every other season is 100% consistent. Name one episode that disapoints in any other season!

Waiting until September for Region 1 Season 2 dvd sucks. Anyways, if you are bored with Futurama on CN, I sugest checking out Comedy Central's primetime animation line-up on Sundays nights 11C. They have some good shows like The Critic and Dilbert. If you don't like them fine, but it is something to watch while waiting for new Futuramas to come. I don't work for Comedy Central, I just want to pass the word to all fellow Futurama fans.

Kenny, KGKUAN is brilliant! I have no idea why it's got such an average rating, it's one of my favourites! I can appreciate that everyone has different opinions on eps, but i'm glad that in my opinion Season 4 is 100% brilliant! This means that when the DVD is released on Nov17th it will be my favourite Futurama DVD.
