You know what we should do? We should write Al Gore letters about doing a Futurama Resurrection campaign, being that he was a fan and all. You know, since he's experienced in campaigning and all. Only, instead of running for president, he'll just have Futurama rallies. And, in the end, we can March to Fox and have some big....thing. I don't know, a protest or something. Just us demanding Futurama back, basically.

I know it sounds far-fetched, but anything that might possibly get Futurama back on the air isn't a bad idea. I mean, come on, Futurama being cancelled is the biggest injustice in the history of the world. And as much as I love Family Guy, I would much rather see Futurama return, and I'm sure you're all with me on that one.

@44: They are all new commentaries. No old stuff. That's why you should go buy it!

Let me get this striagh for the dumb people, on Aug. the DVD comes out in the US. For Europe, it's in May.

The August date is a tentative release date. Until FOX adds it to their website, an official announcement is made by them (or whatever) that release date is subject to change.
However, I do not doubt David X. Cohen or gotfuturama.com.

I have all the boxsets and even so this dvd will be welcome in my collection thanks to the commentaries on the dvd's which are the best on any dvd.

The toons are pretty good too :P

I don't care if they're old episodes, listening to Futurama commentaries are my life! It would be nice to get some new episodes, but Im not uncrossing my fingers yet, even if they are a little sore.

Thank you mArc for this little bit of news to brighten my simple life. But please no more pushing the date back...i guess ill have to cross my crossed fingers just incase. :)

Sorry to post again but I want to say I agree with post #38. It'll be very interesting to see what they say in the commentaries about either the show or it's future. Will they actually be focusing mainly on the episode lik they did on the rest of the commentaries or about futurama in general and the show's future? Hopefully all of the above. It'll also be interesting to hear what everyone has been doing (if they decide to mention it).

Anyways I can't wait to hear what they have to say! I'm all ears!

You Americans are law suit crazy right? sue fox over mental anguish from the loss of Futurama, theres been crazier cases and law suits seem to be the only thing that makes big companys listen.
